Who operates this site

AI Transparency Index is operated by Intuitive Systems Novesia UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hausweberstraße 16a, 41352 Korschenbroich, Germany. For privacy questions or requests, email aitransparency@scrapeer.com .

Company details are available in Scrapeer's legal notice.

Technical information

Loading a page sends your IP address and request information to our hosting infrastructure. Technical logs may include the requested address, time, browser information, response status, and IP address. We use technical information to deliver the site, diagnose errors, and investigate abuse or security incidents.

Website analytics

We use a self-hosted Umami installation to understand which pages people visit and how they find the index. Analytics can include page addresses, referring sites, visit times, browser and device information, language, and approximate location.

Umami does not use analytics cookies. It processes your IP address to estimate location and derive a hashed session identifier with browser and site information. The raw IP address is not stored in the Umami analytics database. Hashing reduces direct identification; it does not mean that no information about your visit is processed. Analytics records remain on infrastructure we control.

Steam images and external links

Some game images load directly from Steam's image delivery servers. When this happens, those servers receive your IP address and browser request information. Other images are delivered through our site. Following a Steam or other external link opens that provider's site, where its own privacy policy applies.

See Valve's privacy policy for information about Steam's processing.

Advertising and consent

When advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense to help fund the index. Google and its advertising partners may collect and share information such as IP addresses, page and device information, ad interactions, and cookie or other identifiers. They may use cookies, local storage, or web beacons to deliver and measure ads, limit how often an ad appears, and detect fraud. Personalized ads may also use information about your interests and previous activity, subject to your choices and applicable requirements.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google's consent message explains the participating partners and asks for the applicable permissions. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies for reporting and frequency limits; choosing them does not automatically remove all storage or data processing.

When Google's consent controls are available, use “Privacy and cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the message and change or withdraw your consent. The button appears only when those controls have loaded. Withdrawing consent applies to future processing and does not reverse processing that already took place.

Learn how Google uses information from partner sites, read Google's privacy policy, or manage your Google advertising preferences in My Ad Center. Advertising providers may process information outside your country and retain it according to their own policies.

Contact requests and retention

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond to your request. We keep information for as long as needed to operate and secure the site, answer requests, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and type of information.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, object to processing, or request portability. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to ask about information we hold or make a request. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant records.
