All other assets - texts, music, UI - are 100% human-made. We would not want to diminish the efforts of our 2D art team who spent countless hours working on the game to bring you the best experience - we just feel the need to be transparent. We also want to highlight that all images are processed by human artists in the end.

We used procedural AI-generated art to assist and enhance all our art for the Dogs and Cats (towers assets) inside the game. In all cases, the final product is a direct and faithful representation of the creativity and expression of the creator(s) of Elemental Dog Defense. No art was created directly by a prompt; every sprite and art piece represented in the game was first designed by hand and then enhanced with AI tools.

Generative AI has been used in the creation of the 2D graphics, music, voices and sound effects present in this game and it's marketing materials. We are in the early days of AI. I think it's important for creators to experiment with it, but doing so morally seems impossible. As a compromise I've pledged 50% of the game's income to hire human artists.
