Sound Effects Created.
Some in-game images and sounds are generated by Generative Artificial Intelligence.
The developer describes how AI-generated content is used in this game as follows: This game contains pre-generated content created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence, including portions of the artwork, audio, and store or marketing visual assets. All such content has been curated and integrated by the developer. Real-time generative AI is not used during gameplay.
This game utilized pre-generated AI as an assistive tool during the development process. The specific use cases are as follows: UI/UX: Generation and modification of UI elements such as buttons and frames. 2D Graphics: Generation, background removal, and retouching of puzzle clue images. 3D Assets: Creation of select 3D models and textures. Audio: Generation of background music (BGM).
Generative AI was used during the creation of the background music, marketing materials, and the store page assets (banners, icons, logos).
I used Nano Nana ART work created by AI. Commentary, Music and Narration were created using ElevenLabs.
As the developer, I am responsible for the game's scenario and overall production. AI tools were used to generate the character assets, background images, and BGM, all of which were then customized for the game. Sound effects were sourced from free material libraries.
AI assisted with sound, graphics and code.

Description of AI Use: In this project, Generative AI was used to create promotional artwork, various in-game art assets, and music tracks. Additionally, AI was employed as a coding assistant to help develop and optimize the game's source code. All final outputs have been curated and modified by our development team to meet our creative standards.
A small portion of the background music in this project utilizes AI-assisted tools (Suno) to enrich the atmospheric layers. In these specific tracks, the AI serves solely as a creative catalyst for melodic inspiration, acting as a sensory supplement to the hand-drawn artistic journey. The developer maintains absolute creative sovereignty over all core assets, including every frame of illustration and line of dialogue.
This game uses generative AI tools in parts of development: Music Design Some background music and sound effects were generated using AI tools, then refined by human composers. Visual Assets Certain textures were AI-generated and refined by artists. Programming Support AI assisted with debugging and refining portions of the code. All output was reviewed and tested by developers. No generative AI is used during gameplay, and the game does not generate new AI content at runtime.
Partial music, sound effects, and localization translation
I used standard agentic tools for things like translation and making simple icons. Some images/effects were created with Stable Diffusion XL Base 1.0 (sd_xl_base_1.0.safetensors). The background music I iterated on with a local ACE-Step setup.
The background music and some sound effects were generated by AI.

Some images, icons, voices, and text are generated by AI.
I literally use AI for every inch of this game. There is human made art here and there, but you can safely assume 90% of the game is AI.
The development of the game was supported by AI in some areas to improve efficiency and quality. AI was used to write code and debug, as well as for performance optimization. It also contributed to the creation of 2D graphics for the shop area and the generation of background sounds. In addition, AI played a role in automating translations thus contributing to the realization of the game for a single developer.
AI Music: The BGM was sampled by AI using human-composed reference tracks and was ultimately refined by a sound designer.
The soundtrack/music was made with Suno Pro. Some sounds were made with Krotos Pro, which is mostly not ai but has ai elements for some sounds. The sprites were made with Dall-E.
Some visual, audio, and text elements were created using generative AI tools and were later edited and refined by the developer.
Some translations and BGM 1,2 were created using AI tools and reviewed by the developer.
Some visual, audio, and creative assets in Overcommit may be partially created with the assistance of generative AI tools during the development process. These tools are used to help prototype ideas, generate reference material, or assist in producing certain assets. All generated content is reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer to ensure it fits the game’s artistic style and design. Generative AI is not used to create gameplay dynamically, and it does not interact with player data.
Some store trailer audio, including voice and music, was generated or assisted by generative AI. The application itself does not include AI-generated assets and does not generate AI content during use.
Claude code = Lots of code. Within the game client/server sure, but particularly within our game creation pipeline. It has enabled our artists/unity devs to create their own scripts/tools with blender/unity to streamline our content creation process. Also, CC used for creating python scripts used for MIDI music composition. Flux Dev image gen = spell icons. It did not write this message though :)

Art and music
Some visual and audio assets were partially generated with the help of AI tools. These elements represent a small portion of the overall content and were further edited and integrated by the developer. AI was also used to assist with minor code optimization and to translate all in-game dialogue.
During the Early Access versions of the game AI has and will be used as placeholders, primarily for music and text, that will slowly be phased out over time. The game will be completely AI free upon the games full version release.
AI-assisted creation of graphics AI-assisted creation of music AI-assisted localization
Generative AI is used to compose the original score (instrumental VGM only. This game doesn't include vocal music) and handle the translation (primarily for Simplified Chinese version).
This game makes extensive use of generative artificial intelligence tools during development from concepting, writing support, assets prototyping, animation and sound design. All AI-assisted content is curated, modified, refined, and integrated by the developer to ensure artistic cohesion, gameplay integrity, and thematic consistency. The final gameplay experience is not dynamically generated by AI at runtime. The game does not use generative AI to create player-specific content during live play, and no player data is used to train AI systems. Generative AI tools were used as creative and production accelerators within a human-directed development process.
This game uses AI-assisted tools in the following areas of development: Localization: Some translations were assisted or reviewed using AI language tools. Sound Effects: Some SFX were generated or prototyped using AI audio tools. No in-game visuals are using AI except the main menu art as of now. Promotional materials may still have AI generated content. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, curated, and approved by the development team. No AI content is generated at runtime.
