Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game uses generative AI to create dynamic in-game dialogue (e.g., radio/operator lines) during gameplay. The player does not provide free-form text input; prompts are system-controlled. Outputs are filtered to avoid disallowed content (hate, sexual content, extreme violence, personal data). AI-generated dialogue is thematic and does not imitate real people.
Promotional artwork for the Steam store page was created with the help of generative AI tools during the development process. The game does not utilize any generative AI during gameplay, runtime systems, or player-facing content.
Several placeholder 2D art pieces are generated using Stable Diffusion. In the Early Access version these are marked with the word "Placeholder" in the bottom right corner of the image and will be replaced by artist drawings during the Early Access process.
This game includes pre-generated art and assets created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team. The game does not use live-generated AI systems during gameplay.
Prime Protocol used generative AI tools during development to assist with drafting and iterating on code and to create some pre-rendered marketing imagery. All content is reviewed and integrated by the developer. No generative AI is used during gameplay; the game does not live-generate text, images, audio, or code, and players cannot input prompts.
I use AI to supplement as a stand in for what will eventually become human made content, currently its just music at the main menu and some parts of images in advertisements
Some visual assets on the store page and parts of the in-game art were created with the assistance of generative AI tools and then curated, edited, and integrated by the developer (Cag).
Portions of the store page text and the game’s music were created with the assistance of generative AI tools.
This game uses generative AI tools during development to create certain pre-rendered visual assets.
These include some in-game visual elements such as icons, UI-related graphics, and visual assets, as well as store page and promotional materials.
No generative AI is used during gameplay. The game does not generate content, visuals, text, audio, or code in real time using AI.
All gameplay logic, behavior, and systems are fully authored and deterministic.
Some visual assets such as UI elements, icons,
and promotional images were created or assisted
using generative AI tools. All assets were reviewed,
edited, and implemented by the developer.
No copyrighted material was intentionally replicated.
Some promotional artwork and store page capsule images for Floral Fury Online were created or enhanced with the assistance of AI-based image generation tools. These images are used exclusively for marketing and store presentation purposes. Additionally, certain portions of the game’s code were developed with the assistance of AI-based coding tools. However, the game’s scene design, creative direction, and overall visual composition were created by human developers.
Generating some of the children's drawings used in the game.
Generating sound effects (SFX).
Supporting localization, including the translation of in-game text into multiple languages.
AI was not used for modeling or software development; the entire design process is original and created by the team.
Since this game is older than “Reflection Of Sin”, I was inexperienced when it came to finding good ambient music. For this reason, I used AI to create ambient music in only a few levels.
Artificial intelligence was used to create some interface icons, all voice acting (English and Russian), as well as for text translation. All other content was created manually.
Generative AI tools were used in a supportive role for some character visuals and promotional materials.
All AI-assisted artwork was manually edited and refined.
The game’s design, mechanics, and code were created manually.
This game includes an AI opponent for practice battles. The opponent is a non-generative, scripted system that adjusts answer speed and accuracy. Generative AI tools were used only to create some pre-rendered marketing/store artwork; no generative AI is used to generate gameplay content at runtime.
The following assets in this game were created with the assistance of Generative AI:
Visuals :
- The main capsule image on the Steam store page
- Character images used in dialogue scenes
Audio :
- In-game background music (BGM), Sound effects (SFX), and UI sounds
Generative AI was used to assist in the creation of the current store page capsule art and backgrounds. These images are intended as placeholders / proof of concept and will be replaced with hand-crafted assets as development continues and before release. AI was also used for coding assistance and bug-fixing during development.
Generative AI tools were used during development for early prototyping only. No AI-generated content ships in the game or is consumed by players, and no content is generated at runtime.
As a solo developer, generative AI was used only for the Steam capsule images. I plan to replace them with hand drawn artwork before the game is released.
Some visual assets, such as store capsule images and in-game card illustrations, were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All gameplay and code are original.
We used generative AI tools during development for some marketing images, certain UI elements, store page text drafting, and code suggestions. All outputs were reviewed and edited by the developer. The game does not use AI to generate content during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were utilized during the development of The Bliss to assist with initial script brainstorming, technical troubleshooting, and the creation of minor 2D artwork elements. All AI-assisted content was heavily modified, edited, and curated by the development team to align with the game's strict artistic vision. (Note: Any 3D AI-generated assets were used strictly as temporary placeholders during prototyping and have been completely replaced by human-crafted models in the final release).
Use of UI Assets and Visual Elements
The game uses a combination of custom-made assets and assisted tools for certain visual elements.
Some UI icons and minor interface elements were created with the help of generation tools and then manually edited and integrated into the game.
This includes:
small UI icons
damage indicators
ability cards and card elements
UI cards and visual overlays
promotional banners for the Steam store
All generated elements are used as supporting visuals, refined and adapted to fit the game’s original design, gameplay systems, and overall art direction.
Core gameplay visuals, mechanics, environments, and animations are fully custom and developed specifically for the game.
During the dialogue sequences, the characters avatar representations have been created using AI image generation tools based on original 3D images of the in-game models
AI assisted tools were used during development to help create some assets, all of which were reviewed and finalized by the developer. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay, and players cannot input prompts or create AI-generated material.
