Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Some of the artwork in Wonder Glider (scenery, characters, icons and the title lettering) and some of its text and translations were created with the help of generative AI tools, then edited by us. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.
Some icons and images in the game were created using generative AI. All AI-generated content is reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer. No live generative AI is used during gameplay.
AI was used as an interface and scripting assistant for industry standard tools such as Reaper, Godot, Blender, Aseprite, and Deepl for enhancing the quality and consistency of the game content and building systems I otherwise would not have the capacity to design and implement as solo developer.
Where possible, artists are and will continue to be supported via use of their paid or free assets. For this game, the most money spent was on Quaternius source level packages.
Notable exception to this is the UI, which was generated using RetroDiffusion with a python pipeline built in house for consistent design around UI elements using color normalization and targeting from a theme palette, which is then imported and tweaked in Godot.
Parts of the game's code and in-game text were written with AI assistance and edited by hand. The store capsule art was generated with AI image tools from the game's own visual style and then edited. No AI-generated image or audio files ship inside the game itself: every graphic is drawn in code while it runs, and all music and sound are synthesised live.
Some pre-generated assets were created with generative AI tools and then reviewed and edited by the developer: chapter illustrations and mission background images shown in the menus, some badge (achievement) artwork, four mission-category icons, and six short cockpit voice alerts (text-to-speech). Gameplay, terrain, aircraft models, flight physics, mission design, and all in-game text were authored by the developer. The game does not generate any content at runtime.
Generative AI was used to create pre-rendered English voice performances and selected music used in the game. All AI-generated content is fixed before release; GhostLine does not generate content during gameplay or connect to an external AI service.
Translation: AI tools assisted with translating the game's text into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian and French. The English text, all art, music and sound are made by hand.
The booth announcer's voice (Chuck Baseball) is generated with ElevenLabs from a script written by the developers. AI tools also assisted with translating the game's text into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian and French.
Generative AI-assisted tools were used during development to support programming, localization and store-page text, and the creation or refinement of some visual game assets. All AI-assisted output was reviewed, edited, tested and integrated by the developer. No content is generated by AI during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with some artwork, text and localization, and English announcer voice clips created using text-to-speech. This content is prepared in advance and used as fixed assets in the game or on its Steam store page. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
AI was used to assist with text translation into Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Swedish and German. The translations are used in the store page and in-game.
No other content in this game uses AI.
Fliprium contains visual artwork, music, and sound effects created with the assistance of generative AI tools. OpenAI image-generation tools were used for some visual assets, Suno for some music, and ElevenLabs for some sound effects. These assets were selected, edited, and integrated into the game by the developer during production
Generative AI was used for pre-generated promotional artwork and localization text. No AI content is generated during gameplay. The game does not connect to external AI services.
Generative AI was used during the development of the game to create and assist with visual assets, including illustrations, UI elements, icons, textures, and promotional artwork. These AI-generated assets were reviewed, selected, edited, and integrated into the game by the developer.
Generative AI tools may be used during development to assist in creating certain pre-generated visual, written, audio, or marketing content. All such content is reviewed and curated by the development team before inclusion. The game does not use generative AI to generate content during gameplay.
This game was created with extensive AI assistance. AI-generated and AI-assisted content is used in the game, store artwork, descriptions and trailer. This includes graphics and artwork, text, and contributions to programming, music and trailer production. The trailer and screenshots show actual footage captured from the game. No generative AI content is created during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services while being played.
All 2D visual assets in RindTown—including characters, backgrounds, fruit, icons, machines, and UI elements—were created using generative AI image tools. These generated images were then manually curated, cut, edited, and post-processed by the developer to ensure a strict and consistent "crisp digital anime" art style across the entire game.
Generative AI was used exclusively for creating static art assets during development. No generative AI is used for real-time gameplay logic or text generation while playing.
All AI-generated content in Cute Kitty WAR was created during development; nothing is generated while you play. The game's artwork — cats, pests, items, backgrounds and store images — was produced with AI image generation from our own designs and direction, then selected, edited and assembled by our developer. Much of the game's music and sound was synthesized by code written with an AI assistant, and AI assistance helped draft the in-game text, all directed and reviewed by our developer.
Generative AI tools were used during development to help create [name the specific assets, such as textures, character animations, or sound effects]. These assets are included as fixed content. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.

Some art and audio in this game were generated with AI tools during development and edited by the developer. No AI content is generated while the game is running.
AI tools were used in a limited capacity for a few prop images such as the photographs in the main house, and translation of some Javanese writings. All AI-assisted content was carefully reviewed and approved by humans to ensure it was appropriate and respectful, the final product is a reflection of our own cultural identity and creativity.
AI-assisted translation tools were used for some parts of the game's localization.
We are committed to improving translation quality and welcome feedback on any inaccuracies or unnatural phrasing you may encounter.

I create the basic graphics myself, then use AI for detailed refinement and mass production.
For sound, I use assets generated on AI platforms that permit commercial use.
Some of the art in Orix was made with the help of generative AI. The character models were generated from AI-assisted concept art, then edited, retextured, and adjusted by hand for the game. The achievement icons were made the same way. Music and sound effects are licensed from human-made asset packs.

I understand that some players feel strongly about AI in games, and I respect that. If you prefer not to support games made using AI, this title may not be for you. I’m sharing this openly so you can make an informed choice before buying.
If you choose to play, I hope you’ll judge the experience it delivers—its atmosphere, gameplay, performance, and value. Honest feedback, including negative reviews, is welcome. I take responsibility for the game’s quality and will use that feedback to help improve it.

To make our game playable for as wide an audience as possible we used AI to generate our translations. If you find it's done a poor job in your language, please let us know on discord!
The game uses AI-assisted tools during development, including code generation, asset creation, music composition, map prototyping, and image generation. These systems are part of the production workflow and do not generate new content during gameplay.
AI for Coding: Development tools assist with scripting, debugging, and generating boilerplate code. All AI-generated code is reviewed and manually refined by the development team.
AI for Visual Assets: Some environmental elements, props, and textures are created or enhanced using AI image-generation tools. These images are always curated, edited, and finalized by artists to ensure consistency with the game’s historical art direction.
