AI used to assist in coding, scripting, and localization
This game uses generative AI to create some of its audio content. Background music tracks were generated using Suno, and sound effects (SFX) for menus were generated using ElevenLabs. All AI-generated audio was reviewed and curated by the developer. No gameplay code or puzzle logic is generated by AI at runtime; the use of AI is limited to pre-generated audio content included in the build.
Some assets in this work are AI-generated
A small amount of artwork and text included in the game was created using generative AI during development. All such content is pre-generated. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay or connect to external AI services.
During development we use AI assistance in certain tasks, such as generative fill to extend artist drawn artwork. All major art has been drawn by human artists. The game has optional computer generated voice overs.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create portions of the artwork, character and environment assets, cinematic visuals, music, sound effects, voice recordings, text, localization, and store marketing materials. These assets are prepared in advance and incorporated into the game by Keke Studio. The game does not generate AI content or connect to third-party generative AI services during gameplay.
Some smaller smaller graphical elements in the game utilize gen AI.
The game's translation and some visual and marketing elements may have been created with the assistance of AI.
Parts of this game were made with the help of generative AI tools: - 3,928 of the 6,608 character portraits were created with generative AI tools and then selected and retouched by a person. The other 2,404 are historical images from public archives such as Wikimedia Commons, and 276 reuse an existing picture. - The title-screen key art was created with generative AI. - The character biographies and historical event texts were written with the assistance of generative AI, based on historical sources, and edited by the developer. - The English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese translations were produced with the assistance of generative AI. No content is generated by AI while the game is running.
Pre-generated AI-assisted illustrations are used in the Yustar studio opening animation and Steam store and library promotional artwork. AI also assisted with the written store descriptions. No content is generated using AI during gameplay.
The Sounds and some Assets are AI-Generated
Some 2D art assets were created with the assistance of generative AI image tools and then heavily edited and cleaned up by hand before being used in the game. This includes the logo, some animals, the main menu background, and icon artwork. All such content is pre-generated and baked into the build; the game does not generate any content at runtime. While every mission, achievement, perk, story beat and game mode was designed and built by hand, one at a time.
Some visual content, including parts of the backgrounds and selected graphics, was created with the assistance of generative AI and subsequently edited for the game. These elements serve as temporary placeholders during development and are intended to be replaced with custom artwork once a suitable artist joins the team.
AI-assisted tools were used to support performance optimization and to generate the player character. AI tools also contributed to enemy character assets, store artwork and translations. These uses concern content prepared during development.
This game uses generative AI to assist in creating some of its visual assets, including card illustrations, backgrounds, and interface artwork. These assets are reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. All AI-assisted content is created during development; the game does not generate AI content while you play.
AI。 Generative AI Disclosure: During the development phase, generative artificial intelligence tools were used to assist in creating certain 2D concept art and promotional graphical assets. All generated content has been manually reviewed, polished, and vetted for compliance, containing no infringing, adult, or illegal sensitive content. The game does not call generative AI services during runtime.
Generative AI tools were used to assist in creating and iterating on selected promotional artwork and graphical assets for Railwright, including materials used on the Steam store page and related marketing. Gameplay screenshots shown on the store page are captured from the actual game. Railwright does not use generative AI to generate content during gameplay.
Some sound effects are generated by AI.
This product contains pre-generated content created with the assistance of generative AI tools during development. AI-assisted content includes selected 2D artwork, character portraits, unit illustrations, decorative interface imagery, trailer and store artwork, portions of the soundtrack, and some player-facing descriptive or localization text. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the developer and is fixed before release. The game does not generate text, images, audio, or any other content using generative AI while it is running. Computer-controlled opponents and procedural simulation systems use conventional game logic, not generative AI.
I'm a solo developer with a full-time job and a dad with two wonderful little kids. Full Count Club is a game I've wanted to make for a long time. AI tools are how I fit it into the time I have: they helped create the illustrated art, some sound effects, and some in-game writing such as newspaper headlines. I direct, select and edit all of it. The game does not generate any AI content while you play.
Dicebound uses generative AI as part of the development process for some pre-generated content. This includes certain visual assets and promotional/store materials, as well as some drafting support for interface text and localization. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer before being included in the game or on the store page. Dicebound does not use live generative AI during gameplay, and players cannot generate content through AI in-game.
Void Squadron features artwork developed with generative AI.
Atharia uses generative AI tools under the developer's constant direction. The combat animations are AI-generated video clips, converted into sprites and integrated into custom-built staging. Background environments and interface elements are also created with AI assistance. Every asset is art-directed, selected and validated by the developer before it enters the game.
Gród is designed, built and tested by a solo developer. Every rule, system and pixel of the game follows my own vision. AI tools helped with parts of the production: the voice lines, the music and some store artwork were created with generative AI, then selected, edited and fitted into the game by me. The in-game pixel art is drawn by the game's own code, with no AI image generators. Screenshots and GIFs show real gameplay. The game does not use generative AI while you play.

The game uses pre-generated content selected and incorporated by the developer. It does not generate content with AI during gameplay or connect to external AI services during gameplay. Generative AI was also used for narration in promotional videos.
Current version uses AI generated voices, all other content is human generated including the dialog for the voices.
Art Resource
The campaign's spoken dialogue is AI-generated speech. Over 650 lines were produced with ElevenLabs under a paid plan that licenses commercial use of the output. I wrote every line of that dialogue myself - the writing is mine, the performance is synthetic. I would prefer human voice actors and intend to replace these recordings when the project can afford it. No AI-generated art ships in the game. Every ship, station and environment mesh is either licensed art or made by me. A set of AI-generated 3D models was removed from the project in July 2026. The combat and zone music tracks are AI-generated songs I made with Suno on a paid plan that grants commercial-use rights to the output. The remaining music and all sound effects are licensed audio packs and my own work.
As a solo developer with a very limited budget, the character voices were temporarily generated using AI voice synthesis (ElevenLabs). Our goal is to replace all generated voices with performances by human voice actors as soon as the project secures sufficient funding (through sales, crowdfunding, or community support). Thank you for your understanding and for supporting indie game development! No generative AI content is created in real time while the game is running.
