As a solo developer I have used AI to help review features and generate base artwork before editing.
Type Shogun uses pre-generated AI-assisted artwork for some stylized visual assets, including Steam store/library artwork and selected marketing/capsule images. Some in-game background or presentation artwork may also include AI-assisted elements. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, selected, and curated by NH Media LLC before inclusion. Type Shogun does not use live generative AI during gameplay. Players cannot generate AI images, text, audio, or other AI content inside the game.
ERLIK is a solo-developed game: all game design, code, writing, balance and feel are handmade. Generative AI tools were used as part of the art production pipeline; every asset was then manually edited, curated and polished by the developer before entering the game. No content is generated while you play, everything is fixed at build time.

Code, Art
This game uses generative AI during development in the following areas: * Localization: AI tools were used to assist with translating some in-game text. All translations are reviewed and edited by the developer before being included in the game. * Art Assets: AI tools were used to assist in creating some visual assets. All generated materials are selected, edited, and finalized by the developer. * Programming: AI tools were used to assist with parts of the game's code development. * Store Page: AI tools were used to assist in creating certain store page materials. The game does not include any live-generated AI content. All AI-assisted content is generated during development, reviewed by a human, and finalized before being included in the shipped build.
Generative AI was used as an assistive tool for creating some visual assets. All AI-assisted assets were manually edited and refined by a human designer before being included in the game.
Some art assets and music are first generated by AI, then manually re-created for secondary refinement.
Generative AI was used during the development process to assist and improve efficiency. Specifically, some in-game art assets (such as UI icons and backgrounds) were generated by AI and subsequently refined by human artists. Additionally, AI-assisted tools were utilized to help with the writing and debugging of some foundational code. We assure you that all final art assets and core logic code presented to players have been manually reviewed and optimized by our development team. There is no live-generated AI content or code during actual gameplay.
The game does not use AI to generate content for the game. Some of the game content was developed using AI, but the game itself does not use AI to generate any content.
AI was used to assist on coding and to create some of the pictures and text descriptions used.
This game uses generative AI tools to create visual assets, audio, and to assist with development. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
The developer used generative AI tools to assist in creating certain 2D environmental textures and concept artwork used during development. Additionally, AI voice generation software was used to synthesize specific voice lines for characters within the game. AI coding assistants were also utilized to aid in writing and optimizing standard gameplay scripts
Some of the game's code, graphics, and music are generated by AI.
Game backgrounds, character portraits, map elements, and UI icons are pre-generated using AI image generation tools.
Suho's background music was produced with the help of a generative AI music tool, and some store-page text was drafted with AI assistance and edited by a human. We intend to replace the AI-generated music with commissioned, original music. All gameplay, game design, code, and in-game visual art are human-authored or rendered programmatically (not AI-generated), and no AI content is generated live during play - the soundtrack ships as fixed, pre-made audio files.
AI-generated content was used for promotional/store artwork, including capsule and library images. The game build itself does not use generative AI during gameplay.
The development of this game utilizes generative artificial intelligence tools to create some pre-rendered graphic assets, visual interface elements, and sound effects that are part of the arena's atmosphere.
Partial images and BGM created by AI
Generative AI tools were used as an aid in creating this store page description and its translations into each language (all reviewed and edited by the developer). quietd does not generate any content using AI during gameplay, and it does not connect to any external AI services.
This game uses AI-assisted tools during development to help create and iterate on some visual assets, such as concept art, UI background images, icons, effects references, and promotional artwork. The generated material is reviewed and edited by the developer before it is included in the game or store page. AI is not used during gameplay to generate player-facing text, images, audio, music, voice, 3D models, code, story choices, or gameplay decisions.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with some early visual concepts, select sprite bases, music/audio drafts, and voice/audio prototypes. All AI-assisted content included in the game was selected, edited, refined, and reviewed by the development team to fit the game’s final style and direction. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
MindGate's content—including character illustrations, related store and promotional images, and in-game text—is created by the developer using generative AI tools. The developer directs, selects, edits, and finalizes every asset, and makes all gameplay design and balance decisions.
Generative AI was used to create some promotional images for the Steam store page. The game itself and its gameplay do not contain AI-generated content.
In this game, AI was used to generate code and music. It served as an auxiliary tool for composing backgrounds.
We used generative AI tools in a few clearly defined parts of this project, and we want to be upfront about where. During development, we used AI coding assistants to help write and review parts of the source code, the same way many modern studios use these tools. We also used generative AI to help create some of the store page and marketing assets, such as promotional images and parts of the written copy. Everything produced this way was checked, edited, and approved by us before it went live. Inside the app itself, the background removal feature runs on machine learning models to cut backgrounds out of images that you choose to load. These models only process the images you give them, on your own machine, and nothing is generated or sent anywhere without your action. The core gameplay experience, meaning the overlays you place, the cursor effects, the pinning behavior, and the audio reactive features, is built from regular code and does not generate content with AI at runtime. Any HTML overlays you get from the Steam Workshop are made and shared by other users, so their content is up to whoever created them. We do not use AI to generate live content that changes on its own while you use the app, and we do not train models on your data.
Several of the original tracks included with the base game were created with the help of AI tooling as was some of the initial iconography and translations.
Some visual assets in this game, including certain character and background art, were created with the assistance of generative AI tools and then reviewed and edited by the developer. All gameplay, code, and design are human-directed. This game does not use AI to generate any content during gameplay.

The narrator's voice lines have been made by AI.
AI-generated assets were used for the characters, enemies, and backgrounds.
We used Gemini (Google's Generative AI) to assist with Japanese to English localization and text translation.
As a small development studio, we had to use AI to generate translations for the game and the Steam page in order to make the game accessible to the widest possible audience. The graphic and audio assets were created either by us or by the team at Craftpix.net (who, it seems, do not use AI).
Some visual assets in this game — including dice textures, character portraits, scene backgrounds, and select UI decorative elements — were created with the assistance of generative AI, then manually curated, retouched, and color-graded before integration. All AI-generated content is pre-rendered static art; the game does not use real-time generation.
During development, we used generative AI image tools to produce base images for some of our 2D art assets. Our artist then worked on them to create the final assets in the game and on the store page.
Generative AI tools were used to assist in the creation of certain visual assets during development. All final in-game content was created and reviewed by professional artists.
Some non-gameplay assets in this game (backgrounds, environment and concept art) were created using AI-assisted workflows, specifically: Runecraft AI (in-house workflow), Higgsfield and Pixellabs (select assets). The game's music is produced through studio recordings with live-played instruments; Suno is used supplementarily for optimizations and atmospheric additions. The majority of all game content (characters, sprites and core assets) is hand-crafted; AI is a supplementary tool in the production process. The shipped game does not generate any content at runtime via AI.
1. Code, ai has helped with most of the game code. 2. Ai was used as refrence for the ui layout. 3. The music is ai generated (it will be replaced as soon as possible) .
Generative AI was used during the development process to assist with code optimization, refactoring, and text translation. None of the AI-generated content is generated in real-time or active during live gameplay.
In this work, much of the text is interactively generated by a language generation AI. In addition, language generation AI is used for various judgments on the text entered by players. Furthermore, all the illustrations in this work are created using image generation AI.
