All AI-generated content is pre-generated (nothing is generated at runtime) and was manually reviewed and edited. All 3D models, gameplay, code, and game design are hand-crafted.
This title uses AI tools for programming, image creation, and translation.
All art, music, and sound in TOWERPUNK are original to this project, produced by procedural code written specifically for the game. None of it is derived from generative media models. AI coding assistants were used during development to help write the game's source code and some functional interface text (menu labels, status readouts). All narrative and creative writing is authored by the developer.
Generative AI technologies were utilized during the development and content creation process of our game. In addition to software development support, AI tools were used to draft in-game narratives, assist with localization, and generate store page descriptions. All AI-assisted content has been thoroughly reviewed, edited, and curated by the development team to ensure quality standards and compliance with copyright policies.
Generative AI tools were used. All AI-assisted content was reviewed by the developer, with some assets further edited and refined. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
Generative AI was used during development to assist in creating some pre-generated 2D artwork and written text used in the game. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developers. The game does not use generative AI to create new content at runtime.
We use generative AI for text only: writing this store page and translating the game's in-game text into the supported languages. Everything else, including all art, animation and audio, is made by hand, and no content is generated while you play.
Generative AI was used to assist with some Steam store artwork, marketing materials, and localization.
Artificial intelligence has been used for some parts of the art.
We used generative AI on fighter portraits for deeper immersion and as a pre-production tool for early concept layouts. From there, all character assets and visual elements were extensively edited and manually hand-painted by human artists to ensure high visual quality and artistic control.

Pre-generated content only. This game does not run any AI at runtime. Visual art: 444 image files were created with generative AI during development — equipment sprites, ability icons, monster sheets, character portraits, building art, terrain and UI textures, the title screen and the game icon. The tool was ChatGPT (OpenAI), web interface, image generation, in sessions between 13 July and 1 August 2026. The author recalls the model as GPT-5.5, but the interface did not record the exact model version, so only the date range is documented. Text: the in-game text — tutorial, mission and event wording, item and interface strings — was drafted with generative AI assistance and then reviewed and edited by the author. Spanish is the original language. Translations: the English, German and Italian versions of the in-game text were produced from the Spanish original with generative AI. Not AI-generated: all remaining art comes from CC0, CC BY 3.0 and CC BY-SA 3.0 sources (Liberated Pixel Cup, 7Soul, Kenney), credited in full on the in-game credits screen. All music and sound effects are CC0 or CC BY. No AI-generated voice or music ships with the game.
Generative AI has been used solely as a supporting tool to create some of the icons used for the character's abilities and upgrades, as well as to assist with translating the game's text into other languages.
Some of the artwork materials in this work are generated using AI
AI was used to assist with coding and logo creation.
The application includes a small set of pre-generated pixel-art example assets, including default cat character poses, icons, and promotional visuals. They were created with generative AI assistance during development and curated as static demonstration content shipped with the application. The product does not generate AI content at runtime and does not embed, call, or operate a generative AI model or service. Its AI Material Assistant only provides editable prompt templates and links to third-party services outside the application. Players may import their own images, GIFs, audio, and Workshop content.
The pixel art in this game was created with an AI image generation tool (Pixellab). Generated art is never used as-is: the style, proportions and palette standards are set by a human, every sprite is reviewed by eye, and anything off-standard is rejected and redone. Grounding, animation continuity and color consistency are likewise human-checked before adoption. Game design, balance and specification decisions are made by a human. AI-assisted tools are also used in the development process. Nothing is generated by AI at runtime (pre-generated content only).
This game has been developed using AI programming agents, and also contains audio and image files generated by AI. No AI contents are generated during gameplay.
Generative AI was used to create 2D artwork, visual assets, and music. All AI-generated content was reviewed and edited by the developer before being included in the game.
Some non-gameplay materials in this project were created with the help of generative AI tools, such as certain promotional visuals, store page imagery, and supporting text. All core game design, mechanics, story, and gameplay content were created by the developer. AI-assisted materials were reviewed and edited by the developer before release.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with code, images, and localized text.
Handcrafted assets are refined and upscaled with AI
Some of this game's assets were made with the assistance of generative AI tools and were reviewed, curated and hand-finished by the developer. No content is generated while you play.
Generative AI was used extensively throughout the development of **Crazy Fußball-Manager**. **ChatGPT Codex** and **Claude Code** were used primarily for programming, technical implementation, and textual content. Graphics and visual assets were created and edited with the assistance of generative AI tools. **Suno** and **Mureka** were used to create music, sound effects, and other audio content. Nearly all content in the game – including code, graphics, text, music, and sounds – was created with the assistance of generative AI and subsequently integrated into the game.
Generative AI was used for the in-game music, the logo and store page artwork, and the store page text and translations.
AI generated mood pictures, atmosphere, characters, some background images
The store page was translated into 30 languages using AI, from text written by the developer. Store and library images were assembled from artwork the developer made by hand. The game itself contains no AI-generated content, and nothing is generated by AI while you play.
Some assets were created using AI. I'm not as artist lol.
The store page capsule and secondary assets (like machine icons) were AI-generated using existing in-game screenshots as a base.
AI generation tools were used to help create the character art on the Steam capsule and the in-game skill icons. AI was also used to assist with localization/translation. All assets were reviewed and finalized by the developer.
Translate texts.
Generative AI tools were used to assist with store page text localization and marketing copy drafts. All content was reviewed and edited by the developer before publication.
Audio and images were generated with AI to speed up and cost reduction of game development
Some graphics, music, and translations were created with the help of AI and refined manually.
AI-assisted tools were used in the creation and refinement of the Steam page capsule artwork, as well as for selected UI elements.
We used AI tools (such as Claude) to assist with brainstorming game ideas, structuring code logic, and drafting textual content during development.
The six staff portrait images currently in the game are AI-generated placeholders. They are being replaced with commissioned, hand-painted portraits by a human artist before release. Everything else — the key art, the store art, every case, every line of dialogue, the music, and the simulation itself — is human-made. The game runs no AI at play time.
Some character, creature, environment, loop-video, and marketing artwork was created with generative AI during development, then reviewed, edited, and approved by the development team. The game does not generate content at runtime, connect to external AI services, or send player input to AI services.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with programming, text, and the creation of some visual assets. The game does not use generative AI to create content during gameplay.
During development, we used AI tools to assist in creating some art assets, voice acting, and dialogue. All AI-assisted content is pre-generated before release — the game does not generate content with AI in real time while you play. All such content is reviewed and refined by our team to ensure quality and originality, and to avoid generic-looking characters.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with some pre-generated visual assets, including selected pixel-art environments, characters, illustrations, icons, and promotional artwork. These assets are included with the game and are not generated live during gameplay. The game does not use a live AI service or send player data to an AI service. Shipped assets were reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team.
We used AI image-generation tools to help create some 2D art assets in the game, such as in-game banners, posters, and signage. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the developer.
We use AI to generate content for the game such as text descriptions, some images like npc portraits and ware items and to generate some stories to create immersion in the game. We also generate some voicing for dialogs using licensed voices. We also generate some other sounds such as sound effects (wind, sea waves) All content text, images, voices or sounds are reviewed manually by a human to verify the content and licensing aspects.
Portions of the game's code were written with AI assistance and reviewed, tested and integrated by the developer. Localization into non-English languages was machine-assisted and human-reviewed. Some 2D concept/marketing artwork was AI-assisted and manually refined. All gameplay, game design and audio are human-made. The game does not generate any content with AI at runtime.
The game's surface textures — the colour and relief maps applied to parts, buildings, terrain and visual effects — and its sound effects were created with generative AI tools during development. They are generated ahead of time, reviewed and integrated by hand, and ship with the game as ordinary image and audio files. Nothing is generated while you play, and the game never connects to an AI service. The simulation itself — orbital mechanics, aerodynamics, the production chains — is written by hand.
