Some localization and localization proofreading were done using AI translation
I am proud of the fact that everything you see and hear in the game is made by humans. Work by talented artists and human creativity created all the assets, soundtracks and story elements you experience in the game. For full transparency I do want to disclose that Language Models were used for assisting while coding and for translating the game in the wide number of languages using DeepL. However through community effort we continuously refine these translations to be the most fitting they can be.
I leverage AI technologies for code suggestions in Godot and image generation. Although, most of the art is hand-drawn. These AI tools assist development workflows and enhance visual quality. While AI aids my process, the development remains predominantly driven by me.
The AI generated references for the backgrounds, to which the artists of our team were able to use these materials for further redrawing into finished unique background images.
Some art: some vertical painting, clothes generated by AI.
The game includes AI-generated graphical assets in addition to hand-drawn ones. Parts of dialogue audio use AI-enhanced text-to-speech synthesis.
We use AI-generated art for Steam capsule and Main Menu background.
Artificial intelligence was used to create illustrations in the game
Modifier by human. AI help.
I used AI for some background art.
The backgrounds for the research/videos were pre-generated by AI and manually adjusted to the desired state. Localization in all languages except Russian.
Yes, I use artificial intelligence. But it just helps to create images. Then I change them and adjust them after the process is complete. So yes, my game uses artificial intelligence.
In the game, you can change the visual style at any time, which is pre-generated by artificial intelligence. The original style is drawn by a person.
The game used AI to help create some background in the story.
Some art content is made by AI.
Due to limited funds, I employed AI to generate almost all of the 2D scene art assets and used AI for all language localization translations.
Some images in the game are created using generative AI, including splash images, capsule and marketing art, and character art. The images are generated using paid subscription to Midjourney. The image copyright belongs to Midjourney with Crystalline Green Ltd. licensing the images for commercial use. We are a small independent studio with limited budget, but we appreciate not everyone is comfortable with use of AI generated images in commercial games, so we understand if you would prefer not to play our game. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions or concerns.
Music in the game is created using AI-generated samples. I also used AI-based tool to assist me with final touch of some environment backgrounds. Specifically as a filter tool to make the lines more shaky.
The illustrations for the game were created in Stable Diffusion using the RealcartoonAnime model https://civitai.com/models/96629/realcartoon-anime
AI-Generated Artwork in A Tiny Space Adventure In A Tiny Space Adventure, we have used AI technology to create the majority of the visual elements, including backgrounds, characters, and in-game scenes. This approach allows us to bring a unique and imaginative visual style to the game, enhancing the storytelling and creating an engaging atmosphere for players. All interface elements like buttons, indicators, and HUD elements were created manually to ensure smooth gameplay and user experience. We are committed to delivering a high-quality experience, and the use of AI art has allowed us to explore creative possibilities while maintaining the charm and fun of the game.
A couple of background images throughout the game.
游戏的部分美术由AI完成
A minimum number of sprites were created with Artificial Intelligence, for which input was provided from sketches and concept art made by the team.
Use original drawn pictures to train the AI model to generate some technology icons
Individual character portraits in the game are generated using AI and then refined by artists before use.
Artificial intelligence (AI) was used for generating initial sketches of backgrounds in some game scenes.
Some images in the game and promotional materials are made/modified using AI.
The scenarios were generated by Artificial Intelligence based on existing places. But the characters were drawn in a traditional way by a semi-professional illustrator
Some artwork in Deal of the Dead Final Cut was created with the assistance of OpenArt AI software.
The visualisation of the characters for dialog portraits is accomplished with the help of AI generated imaging.
We used a Text To Speech model to generate audio for all the concepts, examples and quizzes.
AI tools were utilized sparingly to assist in early development of some background images. All AI-assisted content has been heavily refined and painted over by the artist.
Some images and some voice-over in the game are made with generative AI
We use AI to generate Voice Over.
Our character drawings are generated by AI and then manually redrawn by Tutujiang Studio. The scene part is made by using real-life photos and using AI to render them with strokes
Our Policy for AI Use Even if, and disclose from time to time that, we use AI in some of our products, it never means that our product consists of AI-generated content, which is simply impossible but may be presumed by some people. We continue our due diligence and necessary efforts to come up with the best content. AI is a field that we keep track of and welcome curiously and excitedly. It is something not the world gives us but what we get from the world according to our requirements. However, We always consider the rights of commercial and ethical use of AI. Therefore, we subscribe to their content, pay their respective fee, and keep their receipts/licenses. How may we use AI? We may use outsourced AI in a number of different ways in addition to our own in-game AI mechanics, as it gives us uniqueness and originality as we like, and as long as its content is compliant with our above policy: Sound files: We have a large collection of audio clips we have purchased and keep purchasing. We also have the means to make our own sound files. Sometimes we may also use AI-made sounds to make audio clips as well if we fail to find what we are looking for in our archive. Graphics: We may use AI for some of our graphical assets. We have various means like software with which we can create characters, particularly our animated characters in the trailers and cutscenes, which are our own unique designs. We may use AI in this particular game in relation to the environment and some of the ancillary icons, finishings, and corrections. Ideas: We may chat with AI about whether an idea is suitable for the current genre we are working on. However, we plan to discontinue this use of AI as it lacks originality. For example, when we asked for the names of two female characters for a fantasy game, AI suggested “Anya and Ayleen.” They are obviously names used before and we needed to change the names of our two characters. The above use of our AI may naturally appear on our store page as we include fragments from our game to introduce and promote it. This policy may be subject to change depending on the developments, ethical considerations, and circumstances regarding the use of AI in the future.
Some backgrounds and store assets have been generated combining artwork and pictures created by the AI
The game's intro video and ingame backgrounds were first created with 3D renders and then styled using Stable Diffusion. However, no images were created from scratch with ai. The resulting visuals were then cleaned up and refined using PixageFX and a pixel art editor. Additionally, a large portion of the character voiceovers were done using 'murf.ai' except 'Mike Jack'.
In creating the artworks, AI was partially utilized.
The game contains portraits and images generated by AI.
We make use of some generative AI modeled on images produced directly by our company.
Some art assets use a private Chinese ink style conversion model
In our game, AI is a powerful ally that has significantly increased our productivity. It helps us create new scenarios, which are then refined by our art team, allowing us to offer an expanded variety of playable environments for players. Additionally, we plan to integrate AI-generated dialogues to dub the game into multiple languages. This dubbing process would be impossible for our small studio without AI support. With this approach, we aim to make our game accessible to a global audience and provide a localized and authentic gaming experience in different languages. In summary, AI plays a crucial role in our development process, enabling our small studio to achieve great feats and provide players with a rich and immersive experience.
The game uses backgrounds (and a handful of characters) that were made using images generated from a Public Domain scraped data set. The background images have been altered very little but the character images are used as a basis and edited in a powerful editing suite called Microsoft Paint.
Some art assets were AI-generated.
A minimum amount of AI-coded content to design levels and additional materials for the game.
This game is fully human‑programmed. All objects, characters and enemies were hand‑drawn with only one exception: The Rex head in level 10. A few AI‑generated images were used for Steam and simple backgrounds.
