AI DISCLAIMER. I will be upfront. Much of the art in the game is AI generated. This will slowly be fazed out over time. Commissioning artists is EXPENSIVE and I do not have the skills nor the time to become good at art. If this does well, all imagery will be replaced by commissioned humans.
AI-assisted content was used during development and was manually reviewed and curated by the development team.
As an indie game project, to overcome limitations in budget and time, this game utilizes AI-generated assets for some visual elements (including character art, background scenes, and UI icons) and music. All AI-generated content has undergone the following manual processing: Frame-by-frame adjustments for detail consistency. Redrawing of parts inconsistent with the game's worldbuilding. Ayu promises that all assets comply with Steam's policies, and the core gameplay and narrative are 100% original. Thank you for your understanding and support.
During development, generative AI was used as a supplementary tool in the creation of some UI elements and image assets for this game.

I wrote code and generated Highpoly models and then created Lowpoly in blender.
AI was used to assist with complex coding elements and to process a few specific 3D models for the game.
AI tools were used during development to assist with prototyping, mechanic design, and the creation of a limited number of development assets. All final game content was reviewed and implemented by the developer.
AI-assisted tools were used for one in-game hand sprite; the rest of the in-game art is hand-drawn. AI-assisted tools were also used for some store/promotional artwork, some music and sound effects, localization assistance, and coding assistance. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated manually by the developer.
Some artwork used on the Steam store page and marketing materials for this game was created with the assistance of generative AI tools. The game itself does not contain any AI-generated or AI-driven content.
AI used for translation
AI-generated content includes: * Promotional graphics for the Steam Store page. (GPT) * UI icons and game main icon. (GPT) * Initial translations for in-game text. (GPT) * Voice synthesis for the "Rabbit" character. (ElevenLabs)
We have utilized generative AI tools during the development process to assist in the creation of various 2D and 3D assets. This includes certain environmental textures, 2D UI elements, and some base 3D models. All AI-generated content has been manually reviewed, edited, and refined by our team to ensure quality and originality. These assets are pre-generated and are not created in real-time during gameplay.
This game uses AI for chat, image generation/editing, and experimental video generation, and supports multi‑agent collaboration. AI features require an internet connection and third‑party model services; user inputs may be sent to those services to produce outputs. AI‑generated content is provided as assistance and should be reviewed by players before use or publication.
Generative AI was used only in limited cases: for a few UI elements and temporary draft translation. Before release, all machine-translated text will be replaced with human localization.
Tic Tac Football uses AI-controlled opponents to allow players to compete in single-player matches, cups, and leagues. AI players follow the same rules as human players and are designed to provide a fair, accessible challenge focused on positioning, timing, and decision-making rather than speed or complex simulation.
AI has been used as an assistive technology to assist with creation of some minor textures.
AI tools were used to assist with coding during the development process. Additionally, generative AI was used to create some of the artwork and assets displayed on the store page and in marketing materials.
The hero picture at the top of the library was generated by AI.
We used AI image-generation tools when creating some in-game images.
The development of The Utopian Project makes limited use of AI-assisted tools during early production, primarily for concept exploration and background asset iteration. All final content is curated, reviewed, and integrated by the development team.
Please note that the audiovisual materials in this game (character illustrations, backgrounds, CG, BGM, voice acting) and some clips in the promotional video are AI-assisted creations. Here, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness and understanding. However, please rest assured that in this work, AI serves merely as a production tool, not as the creator of the work itself. This means that everything—from the initial concept and the collection of stylistic references, to repeated refinements in aspects such as character outfits, scene atmospheres, and continuous adjustments to the emotional delivery of voice acting—was independently handled by me. AI was only responsible for the final production phase. I also dislike fast-food-like workflows. For me, AI is a powerful production tool that compensates for my shortcomings, but the soul of the work always originates from human creativity. In any case, thank you for your attention and understanding. If you have any questions, feel free to message me anytime~
