AI-generated art objects
The game uses real photos as well as AI generated images, all post-processed by a human designer.
AI was used in the process of creating the images used in the game. Each element generated by the neural network was carefully edited and refined by a 2D artist to ensure high quality content and a unified artistic style of in-game visual materials.
Some of the pictures in the mansion are generated with AI to achieve a bigger diversity and more interesting world set up. The voice over is AI generated. The games logo / icon was improved with the help of AI.
NPCs reply to your conversations using state-of-the-art AI. This dialog is at the heart of Talk to Me Human.
Artwork is AI generated.
The game uses AI to create some of the graphics.
An AI Image Creator was used for the title picture and the Achievement-Icons.
This game features open dialog, where players can talk freely with NPCs. The dialog for NPCs is prewritten in book-length stories per character - a language model is used to interpolate between these prewritten statements, and to smoothly and grammatically map prewritten text into the appropriate place in conversations.
Part of the background content in the game is AI generated images, and most of the background images were generated using Midjourny.
The Everest Encounter leverages cutting-edge AI to create a uniquely immersive VR experience. Our game features Katherine, an AI-driven flight attendant powered by advanced language models and NVIDIA's AI technology. Players engage in natural conversations and dynamic interactions, with Katherine adapting her responses and behavior based on the player's choices and emotions. While the game's core content is pre-rendered for optimal performance, Katherine's dialogue and decision-making occur in real-time, ensuring each playthrough is unique. This innovative use of AI pushes the boundaries of narrative gaming, offering players an unparalleled level of engagement and realism in a virtual world.
AI-generated art for its visual elements.
The game includes an unholy amount of AI-generated content, including: - Textures - Images - Music - Audio effects - Voice lines - Facial and body animations - Code Game allows player to use voice as a main input tool. To achieve great quality of speech to text, a base version of openai's whisper model is used. The content seen in the game is not live-generated. The player's input is embedded into a vector through a small model with 278M parameters. Model: paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2 (Used primarily for wide support of languages) Then, the game uses Faiss to match the player's input to known, predefined inputs. Each of those describes a reaction and change in the state of the game. Icon was made with local diffusion model.
The game uses images generated by AI to illustrate the story and offer visual interactions. The main content of game, the text of the story, is NOT using AI.
Well, just some images for background and characters that produced by artists and AI, were checked by artists and issued as free. So these assets are ok to use.
- Use of AI to generate photographic images used in the document: The Regis Family Files. - Use of AI to assist with linguistic translation in the game.
We used AI for some detail optimization in our artwork, but we guarantee that the majority of the art assets are handcrafted. We will never use 100% AI-generated artwork for profit. Everything you see has been manually redrawn at least once.
Using AI to generate assets for the Steam Store.
Some images and music in the game made with AI for this moment.
Some 2d content, some texts and simple sounds was made with AI help, but then than was careful polishing. Thanks all, that you can help to make all it real!
Some in-game or store assets might be produced through processes involving the use of AI filters or AI generated elements merged with other sources. Whenever using a generative AI, we exclusively use private models trained with licensed sets of data.
AI has been used to create some visual content
All of the images in this game are generated by neural networks trained on images (aka “AI generated”). If you choose to boycott all AI generated material, please do not buy this game. If you are uncomfortable with the thought but are interested in my game, please read on. The aesthetic of this game had to come from the strange, uncanny look of AI. There is a heartlessness to the visuals that is intentional. I am not trying to copy the look of other artists. The only tool capable of producing the look I was going for was a malfunctioning AI. Ironically, I have had a number of people tell me that it looks much more realistic than standard AI. I am assuming this is because of how I tried to reproduce the look of old media. All images, aside from the title screen, credits and some of the video shot on camcorder were generated by AI prompts. It took several days of exploring before I began generating images that fit the aesthetic I was looking for. I have heard AI described as a slot machine, and I think the metaphor is somewhat accurate. I think of this as similar to indeterminacy in music. Using random number generators can produce interesting outputs, but you need to refine and direct the system to do so. I started my process in Midjourney. My ratio of usable images was around 100 to 1; for every 100 images I generated, I found one usable piece for the game. I created an automated process to transform these images to 16:9 widescreen in Photoshop Beta. Some of these images I touched up manually or regenerated sections of the image. There are some real images and hand painted imagery within the AI elements. Often, I would have to generate the sides of the image multiple times because photoshop didn’t generate what I needed. To those concerned about not paying artists: I understand this, but I want to be clear that this was not created to replace the work of artists, any more than the synthesized scores to horror films were about replacing orchestras. These are tools that do different things. Rather than some sort of lazy shortcut, the use of AI imagery is essential to the aesthetic and narrative of the Path of Veins.
Our game does not contain any content directly generated by AI (AI usage is around 10-20% of the total workload). Some character art and some scenes were inspired by AI designs. It's undeniable that AI is an excellent auxiliary tool. Its handling of color, light, and shape is indeed superior to what an artist can achieve on their own. (This is also due to cost considerations. Currently, independent game teams are struggling to survive, and our vision is to continuously produce more high-quality works.) In terms of character art design, AI's performance in certain aspects surpasses our own capabilities, so we are considering using AI as an aid in the creation of our early works. We hope for your continued support so that we can reduce or even eliminate the use of AI in the future and continue to create more works. Every character illustration and scene in the game requires a significant amount of time to create and modify
Some elements of the game have been generated using AI, including few background images, two general songs. Additionally AI was used to modify some game textures, AI was used to modulate recorded voices to better fit the outlook of 3D modelled characters, and some elements of the user interface were translated using AI.
Some of the art materials for this work were created using Stable Diffusion, including but not limited to: "CG" used in the work; Partial small elements. Note: The right to interpret the AI content of this work belongs to the person in charge, Liu, and any consequences of AI painting are borne by the first responsible person, Liu.
Only a small number of placeholder sound effects, assets, and promotional illustrations are used in the game. They will be gradually replaced with original handmade content not generated by AI. All core assets of the game are handmade.
In the development of our game, we incorporated AI tools to enhance various aspects of the creative process. Our game uses generative models for creating and editing images, sound mixing, and text translation. These AI tools were utilized to improve quality and efficiency, allowing the development team to concentrate on crafting the narrative, gameplay, and overall design. The AI played a supportive role, assisting with technical tasks while the core vision and creative direction were driven by the team.
Some of the images were generated by Midjourney, but were later adapted manually by the game developer; all the background musics were generated by Suno AI.
For the development of The Broken Mirror (Xuru Engine Edition), we have integrated advanced generative AI workflows to enhance the atmospheric Noir experience. Environment & Visual Arts: Environmental assets and backgrounds have been conceptualized and generated using AI, then manually refined and stylized in high-contrast black and white to achieve a unique 'graphic novel' aesthetic. Audio Experience: Soundtrack and atmospheric sound effects were developed with AI assistance to create a deep, immersive psychological thriller mood. Human Oversight: All AI-assisted content has been curated, edited, and directed by our lead developer. The core narrative, character arcs, complex puzzle design, and final assembly are 100% original human creations, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality artistic vision.
Illustrations and UI visual elements were created with the assistance of AI tools and subsequently refined and optimized manually. Portions of the text were developed based on suggestions from Large Language Models (LLMs) and underwent final manual review and stylistic polishing by the developer.
AI was used for the visuals of this game.
All main character illustrations and story CGs in the game are hand-drawn by artists. Some background images use free AI-generated background assets licensed for commercial use. In addition, AI was used as a supplementary reference during the creation of certain scene assets.
Generative AI generates answers based on your input and was used to create AI Pals.
AI was specifically used for the cover artwork of this game. That is the only AI used.
A small number of background images rendered by ai tools to generate processing
This game uses generative AI tools in part of the visual production process. The tools are used to process and transform original designs and character materials created by the development team, in order to express trauma, psychological distortion, and instability. AI-generated output is not used directly as-is. It is reviewed, selected, adjusted, and edited by the development team before being used as part of the in-game visual direction.

First and foremost, we are a content creation platform. To that end, while we do not actively integrate any Gen-AI tools into our product today, we do not restrict the use of AI-generated content as long as it is properly licensed and does not violate our content rules. Nobody will ever be forced to use AI tools if they don't want to. We are not an AI company. We aim to ensure we fulfill our mission of making content creation easier for players from all skill levels and specialties. We expect and encourage our players to bring in their own content that they've created, either manually or via tools such as Gen-AI, and do not restrict said content as long as it has all been properly licensed and abides by our content rules. That said, we only use AI-generated content for marketing materials, and it will not be included in any assets we bundle with the product at launch. All player-useable assets bundled with the product at launch are properly licensed third-party or first-party assets made by humans.
BGM is generated by suno ai
Some sound effects and music was created using generative audio models. Localization was assisted with LLMs.
that most of the AI images are AI
Almost the entirety of the content in this game is the product of human creativity. However this game does contain NPC portraits which are AI generated and then hand curated. The AI content is commercially licensed from the industries leading AI generation platforms.
A portion of the dialogs have AI generated voices for plot purposes.
The game icon was created with the use of AI. In addition, some ASCII images seen during gameplay are based on AI-generated imagery.
The application is a gamified AI chatbot with numerous user experiences, including Quizes. The AI is used to generate the AI personality and voice as the characters are traditional 3d.
Some characters are generated using AI.
We do not use unedited AI-generated content - every image in the game is handcrafted by our 2D art team. However, they use AI-generated images as rough drafts that are later polished or fully reworked by the 2D art team. We only use AI-generated images as drafts for art assets. All other assets - texts, music, UI - are 100% human-made. We would not want to diminish the efforts of our 2D art team who spent countless hours working on the game to bring you the best experience - we just feel the need to be transparent. We also want to highlight that all images are processed by human artists in the end.
