Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
We have used some AI image for faster demo-release and it will be used for a while, yet going to be replaced. We will not use any AI image for full-release.
Our app leverages advanced Al technology to upscale and enhance the quality of your images on device, keeping your data secure.
Neuro-prompt engineering is the profession of the future, enabling the structuring of queries based on experience so that the subject matter fully matches the task. I use my initial knowledge of programming and integrated AI assistants in various applications to optimize the code development process. This allows me to automate many repetitive tasks, such as code refactoring and formatting, enabling me to focus on more complex and creative aspects of development. My ideas remain unique and original, with AI helping to shape them as a framework, preserving my creative decisions.
Use AI to generate image material prototypes
Scene backgrounds, partially used for main characters reference and brainstorming.
When creating the game AI was used to get inspiration for new items and skins.
AI was used to write some lines of code, and improve functionality in some code.
We use AI on early stages of content development to create concept arts. All final content presented in the game is created by by humans.
While all pre-rendered content is crafted by our talented team, we use AI to spark creativity and inspire new ideas.
AI has been used in the product development as a production assistant. All the material has ultimately been worked on and developed by a human.
We used AI as a tool during development to help generate some parts of the code and certain visual assets. However, there is no active or functional AI system used within the game itself. AI was only used in the production process, not as part of the gameplay or game mechanics.
Coding assistance
AI was used to support the development of some images.
The current active demo includes a small amount of generated AI art as temporary placeholders during development. These assets are being removed or replaced with hand crafted art and will not be present in the final version of the game.
The vast majority of the artwork in the game was created by our team of artists, hired freelancers or purchased on market places. In some cases, AI was used to generate reference images to assist with the creative process, but all final assets were either fully redrawn or significantly refined by human artists to ensure quality and originality.
Some C# code was developed with assistance from ChatGPT and Claude.
AI was used to generate reference images and as a code assistant.
Library Of Lyria will not contain any AI-generated content! As we believe it is very important to have an honest relationship with our community, we will not make any secret of the fact that we used some AI content as placeholders during the very early stages of development. Handcrafted content is our top priority, and so our game will not contain any AI content!
We use AI as a tool for initial concepts and drafts in some areas. All final content for the game, store page, and community is carefully curated and polished by our team.
AI image and sound generation has been used during development
I drew several pictures using AI.
There some images generated by AI, prompted by the creative lead with the aim to showcase the concept he imagined. They are mainly placeholders for future artworks.
Generative AI helped our indie development team generate code, environmental concept art, and 3D assets.
Some art asset used AI for initial conceptual design
In the early design stage of the game, AI technology was used to draw concept drafts, and subsequent art materials were manually revised
I use AI-enhanced programming for game scripts and shaders. I do not use AI generation for audio or visual assets. I do use 3rd party assets that may themselves contain other AI generated assets.
Our studio logo was generated by AI.
I am using AI to generate images to be used for educational purposes along with vector stock images. Important note: I do not train AI models on Northwest coast art nor will I train it on the illustration work of tribal community.
Our team uses generative AI tools to help develop certain elements of the game.
Mainly used to help gather information, inspire content inspiration, and check the readability of text sentences, etc.
There is not usage of AI in game, just used sometimes to help us to generate content ( images and text )
Generative AI was used to creat arts in development.
I created a prototype of AI art using Bing AI. In my opinion, Pop Art, as defined by great artists like Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein, is not only visually appealing but also produced in a simple and time-efficient manner. In this case, the use of AI can be a great tool to help achieve the desired vision for a game like this.
As a small indie team, we may use procedural and/or AI-based tools to assist with the development process. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
I use AI on daily basis to speed up my workflow, create assets and research new information.
AI was used in research to fix/improve the code for the originally buggy rhythm mini games. That aside, every aspect of Necrophobia (art, story, music, code, etc.) was created by my own human hands, and developed by my own human brain.
AI to generate ideas for monsters, characters designs and mechanics of the game.
AI was used to generate 3 scripts.
During the game design process, we used advanced AI tools to generate some pictures as creative references and sources of inspiration, and professionals performed artistic processing on this basis to show the unique art style of "Atman: Rebel Flame". At the same time, we also attach great importance to player feedback and suggestions. If you have any suggestions on the artistic performance of the game, please feel free to communicate with us through the community.
I leverage AI technologies for code suggestions in Godot and image generation. Although, most of the art is hand-drawn. These AI tools assist development workflows and enhance visual quality. While AI aids my process, the development remains predominantly driven by me.
After the game design is completed, AI only solves part of the workload problem.
Stable diffusion is often used in multiple steps of image creation, such as touch-up, conceptualization, or as an anime filter. All images involved hours of manual editing.
AI is only occasionally used to debug code, not to write the actually code or generate any sort of assets for the game.
Some tools making use of AI were used in some phases of the production of some of the visual assets, e.g. generative resize when upscaling some images.
Part of the code was created using Unity Muse.
AI assistance used to craft some concept imagery.
The use of AI tools has increased the efficiency of our graphic designers' work and accelerated asset production. However, these tools do not preclude the high-quality result we want to achieve, and in the future we will gradually remove the use of AI, based on the financial performance of the game.
Artificial Intelligence Supported Smart Code Generator Password Generator and Recorder
Generative AI was used during the development phase of this game to assist with programming and content creation, strictly for internal developer use. The final version of the game does not contain any real-time AI-generated content.
I only got javascript code support. I got help with general game performance and code optimization. In no way was the whole or a large part of the game made by artificial intelligence. I just got help at some points where I got stuck and used it to speed up my work. All games have been tested many times by real players. We definitely do not publish games without testing them and seeing their errors.
