Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.

statements published on individual store pages.

Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Armored Rail uses AI-generated content liberally. The game code is created using industry standard tools like Claude Code and Windsurf. Art assets are created using generative AI (textures, images and meshes).
Music and sound effects are human made.
This game utilized AI tools during development to create pre-rendered content, including some music, sound effects, and 3D models. These AI-assisted assets were carefully curated and refined by the developer to ensure they meet the highest standards and fit seamlessly into the game's experience. No live AI generation occurs during gameplay, and all content is pre-rendered and finalized before being included in the game.
We openly disclose that AI is used in the production of content for this game, including some icons, audio files, translations, and assistance with writing item descriptions and quests.
As the game continues to develop, we plan to gradually replace AI-assisted content with original content created by artists and other professionals.
This game features art and music generated with the assistance of AI tools provided by platforms that ensure fair compensation to their contributing artists. This approach allows us to blend cutting-edge technology with creative expression while respecting and supporting the artistic community.

The procedure is as follows:
Based on detailed world-building settings, prompts are created and input into Dall-E 3 to generate images multiple times.
A single output image—or a combination of several output images—is then used as a reference sketch to create pixel art.
In addition, except for some parts, the map background images are also generated by creating prompts from the world-building settings and inputting them into Dall-E 3. The resulting images are then used as reference sketches to produce pixel art.
By following this method, while we leverage AI-generated images, the final designs are all completed as pixel art by human hands.
