games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Mossgrave was built with an AI coding assistant, directed and reviewed by the developer. The AI wrote the game's code, including the procedural code that generates the 3D models, textures, pixel-art interface, music and sound effects. It also drafted the in-game text (dialogue, quest and item descriptions) and the text on this store page. Store images are captured from the game itself. No AI image or music generation models were used. The trailer's narration is an AI-generated voice; the game itself has no voice acting, and nothing is generated by AI while you play.
AI tools were used during development to create music, selected sound effects and promotional artwork, and to assist with written content and translations. Content is prepared in advance; no AI content is generated during gameplay.
This game uses generative AI in the production and development process. All AI-assisted art is reviewed and curated by the development team before being included in the game.
AI tools assisted with game development, particularly multiplayer systems, and with the creation of in-game artwork, animations, and music as well as store and marketing visuals, including the logo.
Some backgrounds, map event effects, and promotional artwork were created with the assistance of generative AI during development. World simulation follows local rules; the game does not generate AI content or connect to external AI services during play.
Some store and library artwork, icons, and promotional imagery were created or enhanced with generative AI tools. Gameplay screenshots show actual gameplay. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay or connect to external AI services.
Some translations were generated with AI and are in beta, so more players can enjoy the game in their language.
The art and music were made without AI.
Generative AI tools were used to create visual artwork for the game and its marketing, and to assist with store-page text. These materials are prepared in advance. Temple Breaker does not generate content with AI during gameplay.
The 32 illustrations, the soundtrack and the sound effects in A to Zen were created with generative AI tools from the developer's own prompts, then selected, checked and edited by hand. The in-game texts, the store translations and parts of the game code were also made with AI assistance and reviewed and tested by the developer. Game design, puzzle mechanics and the chapter concept are the developer's own work. Nothing is generated while you play, and the game does not connect to any AI service.
The title logo was generated with an AI image tool and then cropped and resized by the developer.
The store capsule artwork (the key art behind the logo) was generated with an AI image tool from text prompts only, then cropped and resized by the developer.
The in-game text in every language except English and Japanese is machine-translated with an AI language model from the developer's English and Japanese text, and has not yet been reviewed by native speakers.
Some English and Japanese interface text and the English and Japanese store description were drafted with an AI writing assistant and then reviewed and edited by the developer. The store description in the other languages is translated with an AI language model.
The majority of the code and the design was written by AI coding agents (Claude and Codex) under the developer's direction and review.
The in-game characters, items, maps, effects, music, sound effects and fonts are mostly purchased or licensed assets. The exceptions are 8 equipment icons, the slash and healing effects, the spectators in the stands, the crowd cheers and the app icon, which were drawn or synthesized by programs written by AI coding agents (no image or audio generation model was used). The cutting out, combining, recoloring and touching up of the purchased assets, and the shapes and light effects the game draws on screen during matches, are also done by programs written by AI.
The key art and logo began as an AI-generated base image, which we then reworked and finished by hand in Photoshop. The narration in the trailers is a synthetic voice made with a text-to-speech model. Nothing inside the game is AI-generated: every critter, the world, the device, the music and the sound are drawn and composed by the game's own code.
The game's pixel art (characters, enemies, bosses, environment tiles and props, effects, UI icons) was created with the help of the AI tool PixelLab and then selected, edited, animated and assembled by the developer. The key art, logo, app icon, music and sound effects were generated with Higgsfield and then edited and mixed by the developer. The trailer's opening and closing cinematic shots are AI-animated from the game's key art. All gameplay, code and design are the developer's own. The game does not generate any content with AI while it runs.
Hello! It’s a pleasure to greet you.
I am the developer of Zero Colour.
As you may notice, some aspects of the game include AI. I understand that some people may not like this or may find it bothersome, so I apologize for that.
I am using this tool because I do not have the resources to hire professionals for the game’s art or translations. Please excuse any mistakes; I did my best.
I hope you enjoy the game. If you have any corrections or suggestions, please feel free to let me know.
Thank you very much!
This game did use generative AI during its development. This was more of a fun side project while working on the main project (Ducki's Descent, which doesn't use AI), tinkering around with AI since my fiancé likes this genre of games, so since it uses AI its free.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in creating and refining some of the game's visual assets and artwork. These assets were subsequently selected, edited, adapted, and integrated into the game by the developer. No generative AI is used during gameplay, and the game does not generate content dynamically for players.
Pre-generated: The music was made with Suno. Sound effects, ambience and voices were made with ElevenLabs. The ability and tech icons were generated with AI image models and edited for the game. All of it was selected, edited and mixed by the developers.
The 3D models, maps, animations and gameplay was developed with support of coding models.
Every screenshot and video on this page was captured in the game.
The store capsule art was refined with an AI image tool from in-game renders.
The art, sound effects and voicelines are AI generated. Ideally, if the game makes some amount of $ I will replace all AI generate content.

Pre-generated: the game's art (character portraits, battle poses, map sprites, painted battlefields and towns, cutscene stills, icons) and music were created with generative AI tools under the developer's direction, then reviewed, edited and assembled by the developer. Live-generated: none. No AI content is generated while you play.
Some included character, animal, creature and sample images were created with generative AI and then edited and prepared for the product. Generative AI also assisted with localization. MEMEMINT does not generate new images or text with generative AI during use and does not connect to a third-party generative AI service. Its local background-removal feature uses a non-generative segmentation model.
This game uses generative AI to create pre-generated content that ships with the game: character and monster artwork, backgrounds and other images, the logo, negotiation dialogue text, and level design. The store page text and marketing images are also created with AI assistance. No AI content is generated live while you play.
Music, background, videos and images in this game, especially the artwork, were created using AI tools as a visual supplement.
This creative choice allowed me to focus more time and resources on what matters most, delivering longer, more engaging, and fun gameplay.
The Seven Beacons is made by a small independent studio that uses generative AI tools as part of production. Every piece is directed, chosen and integrated by the developer.
Pre-generated with AI assistance:
- Illustrations: combat art, backgrounds, characters, and the store and library art.
- Music: compositions created with AI assistance and performed with sampled instruments.
- The English and Brazilian Portuguese translations (the game was written in Spanish).
- Pixel sprites and sound effects, generated by scripts written with AI assistance.
- The text of this store page.
The game does not generate any AI content while you play: everything you see and hear was made before release and ships with the game.
Translation: AI tools assisted with translating the game's text into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian and French. The English text, all art, music and sound are made by hand.
Fliprium contains visual artwork, music, and sound effects created with the assistance of generative AI tools. OpenAI image-generation tools were used for some visual assets, Suno for some music, and ElevenLabs for some sound effects. These assets were selected, edited, and integrated into the game by the developer during production
The game itself contains no AI-generated assets. Generative AI was used only for some promotional artwork on the store page such as posters. This artwork was edited by the development team.
Generative AI tools were used during the development of this game to assist with creating certain visual assets, audio assets, and programming code. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer to ensure consistency with the game's artistic direction and overall quality. The game does not use generative AI to create content during gameplay.
Some character illustrations and 3D character models were created with the assistance of generative AI during development. The generated assets were manually edited, refined, and integrated into the game's final content by the developer. No generative AI is used to create new content in real time during gameplay.

I create the basic graphics myself, then use AI for detailed refinement and mass production.
For sound, I use assets generated on AI platforms that permit commercial use.
Some of the art in Orix was made with the help of generative AI. The character models were generated from AI-assisted concept art, then edited, retextured, and adjusted by hand for the game. The achievement icons were made the same way. Music and sound effects are licensed from human-made asset packs.
Nothing is generated while you play. Every asset in the game is fixed at build time and identical for every player.
Generative AI was used to assist with translating and localizing the Steam store page into additional languages. Generative AI is not used during gameplay.
All coding was done by us. Artwork and SFX/Music was again either done by us or bought from third parties. We don't use AI for any creative element of the game.
To make our game playable for as wide an audience as possible we used AI to generate our translations. If you find it's done a poor job in your language, please let us know on discord!
Generative AI was used during development to create some environment artwork and branding, and to assist with localization and store text. The game does not generate AI content during play or connect to external AI services.
During the development process, our team may utilize AI-based tools in a limited, supplementary capacity to support content creation. This includes the creation of certain 2D prop assets and soundtrack pieces, as well as the localization of some languages. In all cases, the final touches and quality review were carried out by our own team, and the final product reflects our team's creativity and artistic expression.
We utilize generative AI tools during the development process to assist in creating certain game assets. Specifically, AI image generation is used to produce some 2D graphical assets, such as item icons, UI backgrounds, or character portraits.
