AI tools were only used in the development phase for code, textures, texts, audio and music production. There is no player-accessible AI generation feature or external AI service connection in the released game, and all built-in content has passed full manual compliance review.
Some visual/audio assets, text content, and development assistance were created with AI tools and then reviewed, modified, and integrated by the developer.
Some images and icons were generated by AI image generation tools, because I am not an artist and too poor to afford one.
Generative AI is only used as a programming assistant (like code completion or text localization). It’s not used to create the art, audio, or other content that players actually see. Enemy AI and procedural map generation are done with traditional game logic, not generative AI. The art and audio released come from third-party licensed materials on itch.io, with credits given in-game. The game doesn’t call any generative AI services while running.
The English version of the game was translated by artificial intelligence.
AI was used to polish the code and produce marketing materials.
Some of the Generals' portraits were created using AI.
Some animations and effects use AI
This game uses generative AI during development for pre-rendered visual assets, store capsule and library artwork, icons, textures, and supporting marketing images. AI-generated material is reviewed and edited before inclusion. The game does not generate AI content for players during gameplay.
The Heretic's Seal uses generative AI for some pre-rendered art assets, including character portraits, enemy and NPC illustrations, world map and biome backgrounds, and select promotional video clips. As a one-person studio, AI tooling lets a single developer ship dungeon-crawler-scale art volume. All gameplay systems, game design, narrative writing, code, level design, and runtime visuals are created by the developer. No AI runs during gameplay — every system, decision, and reaction in-game is hand-crafted code.
Players can freely converse with NPCs, and the game generates dialogue in real time based on the NPCs’ personalities and memories. The main storyline will be handled by AI agents, which will generate plots consistent with the game’s world-building. AI assists in creating CG scenes, background images, and character portraits.
I've used ai generators for icons and logos. All coding, animations and modelling has been done by me.
In the development of this game, generative AI tools are used in the processes of programming code assistance and multilingual text translation to improve efficiency and quality.
The Early Access build includes some static pre-generated AI placeholder artwork used as temporary in-game assets during development. This content is not generated during gameplay, is not user-generated, and does not connect to any external AI service. Placeholder artwork may be replaced or polished during Early Access as final art is completed.
During development, we used generative AI tools to assist in creating certain game content. This includes using AI to generate base concepts and visual assets for specific in-game items or backgrounds (which were subsequently refined manually), as well as using AI for multilingual localization and text polishing.
Generative AI tools were used to assist with drafting and editing store page text and marketing descriptions. All final content is reviewed and edited by the developer.
This game uses generative AI to assist with parts of the creative process, including some artwork, voice/audio content, written text, localization, and marketing materials. AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and selected by the developer before being included in the game. The overall story direction, game design, character concepts, and final creative decisions are made by the developer.
This game uses AI-generated and AI-assisted content as part of its creative process. AI Slop: TCG exists because of a very specific idea: taking the weird, imperfect, grotesque, and absurd look of what people call “AI slop” and turning it into a roguelike card game full of satire, dark humor, and creatures that probably should not exist. That is why AI has mainly been used to create and develop the creature illustrations for the cards. It is not an accidental extra or some hidden shortcut: it is part of the game’s concept, lore, and visual identity. Without that mutant digital-trash aesthetic, the project would lose a big part of what makes it work. AI has also been used as support for visual ideation and production, which is especially important for a game being made by a solo developer. The game does not generate AI content in real time during gameplay. All included content has been reviewed, selected, edited, and manually integrated by the developer.
AI used to assist in code development.
The developer describes how this game uses generative AI as follows: Visual Assets: Some character illustrations, background art, and UI icons in this game have been created or enhanced using generative AI tools.
Claude Code and Codex were used in game development
Character art and event scene illustrations in this game were created using AI image generation tools. All generated images were curated, edited, and refined by the developer to produce the final in-game assets. No AI content is generated in real time during gameplay.
Galactum Meridian was developed with generative AI assistance under direct human creative direction. AI tools supported coding, writing, design exploration, production workflows, and selected visual and promotional assets. All material was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay.
AI was used to create a lot of the assets in the game, with human modifications.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with some pre-generated visual and text assets, including Steam store or marketing materials. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and included before release. The game does not generate new AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while running.
Generative AI tools were used only to assist in the creation of certain store page and marketing images. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay, and the game does not use live AI systems or connect to external AI services while running.
Our team used generative AI tools to help develop some in-game card images and the images for our Steam Achievements. For any assets acquired from third-party artists, we were not always able to confirm whether generative AI was used in their creation. This is the full extent of our AI usage.
This game currently uses AI generated artwork and assets
promo materials
Some store page promotional artworks and trailer footage materials are assisted and initially generated by AI tools. All AI-generated content has been deeply manually revised, adjusted and optimized by our development team to ensure originality and compliance. No runtime AI dynamic content will be generated during the game running process.
This game contains AI-generated content.
Generative AI tools were used only as programming assistance during development, such as code reference, debugging support, and workflow optimization. No player-facing art, story, audio, localization text, or gameplay content was generated by AI.
AI was used to assist with translating the in-game text.
Some 2D artwork, in-game images, item icons, and promotional/store images were created with the help of generative AI tools during development. These assets were manually reviewed and edited before use. The game does not use live generative AI to create content during gameplay.
Some texture assets were created with assistence of AI-tools.
Generative AI was used in this game’s development and related asset creation, including the game code, three music tracks, selected visual assets, and multilingual localization translation.
The developers utilize AI tools to assist in the initial concepting and intermediate rendering phases of certain 2D art assets, UI elements, and narrative cutscenes. However, all generated materials are heavily repainted, manually edited, and refined by our artists to ensure they align with the game's dark fantasy aesthetic. No raw, unedited AI generation is used in the final product. All core gameplay mechanics, level design, and technical systems are 100%
The game uses google translate for localization on the store page an ingame.
AI has been used to generate music
This game includes content created with the assistance of generative AI tools. Some character and UI artwork was produced using AI image generation (ChatGPT) and then edited by the developer, and the background music was generated using ACE-Step (an open-source model whose output permits commercial use). All AI-assisted assets were reviewed by the developer to ensure they do not infringe the intellectual property of third parties. No AI is used at runtime—all generation occurred during development (pre-generated).
Generative AI (OpenAI ChatGPT) was used to create the title/boot key art and the 20 achievement badge icons. The game's code — which procedurally generates the city, UI and synthesized music — was written with AI coding assistance (Anthropic Claude).
SYLVA contains pre-generated AI-assisted content. Generative AI tools were used during development to create and refine certain store page artwork, capsule images, library assets, loading screen artwork, logos, promotional materials, visual concepts, text drafts, localization assistance, and software development workflows. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, modified, and approved by the developer before being included in the game or published on the Steam store page. The final game design, gameplay systems, progression, balancing, world design, and creative direction are determined by the developer. SYLVA does not generate real-time AI content during gameplay.
The game's narration engine is a deterministic template system with zero runtime AI. The template/fragment library it draws from was hand-crafted in English, and then mass-localized during development using a large language model and then human-curated. No AI image generation was used: all art, icons, and store assets are procedurally rasterized from hand-authored primitive op-lists. The game contains no live/runtime AI generation.
Some images and sound have been generated with the assistance of AI.
Generative AI has been used for enhancing some game page elements and descriptions.
Some 2D art (icons and illustrations) was created with the help of generative AI tools and refined by the developer. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
This game uses AI-generated images for some of its 2D artwork, character scenes, and store page visuals. All AI-generated content is reviewed, edited, and curated by our team to fit the game's historical setting. The game's design, writing, story, and code are created by human developers.
Some pixel art assets (item icons, monster images) in this game were generated with AI tool assistance.
