Public Steam disclosure research 25,380 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI is used only to create visual concept art for the future game updates mentioned on the storepage and for voiceover work of trailers and menus.
SI is used to generate character voices in dialogues.
The description on the store page was created with the help of chatgpt
The game logo was partially done and built upon an A.I. drawing using Microsoft Co-pilot.
Artificial intelligence is used to generate images (sprites) and music (game soundtrack).
The images displayed on some of the screens have been generated using AI, but they are not generated at runtime. Instead, they have been pre-generated and inserted into the game as images.
The use of AI tools has increased the efficiency of our graphic designers' work and accelerated asset production. However, these tools do not preclude the high-quality result we want to achieve, and in the future we will gradually remove the use of AI, based on the financial performance of the game.
Generative AI was used during the development phase of this game to assist with programming and content creation, strictly for internal developer use. The final version of the game does not contain any real-time AI-generated content.
AI has been utilized to design assets that shape the visual and aesthetic aspects of the game. Additionally, the sound cues from narrators within the game are generated using AI.
During the development process, we may use AI-based tools to assist with content creation. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our development team.
Only utilization of AI for image (store page and ingame) creation by Canva.
"The card image includes an AI-generated illustration."

We use some character portraits and simple UI elements.
Utilized AI for icons, logos, for main menu background, provided player character and level images as input to generate main menu background logo
Sanguine does not use AI to generate gameplay, dialogue, or dynamic content for players. The game experience is fully authored and designed. AI was used in development in three ways: -Coding assistance: GitHub Copilot was used as a tool to speed up writing code, with all implementations reviewed and customized by the developer. -Small artwork elements: A limited number of in-game framed paintings, Steam Achievement Artwork, and Newspaper Artwork were created with AI and then curated/edited by the developer for use. -Additionally, AI was used to assist with Localization Translations. All story, characters, environments, music, voice performances, live VHS-style footage, 3D models, cutscenes, and overall production were created directly and originally for Sanguine, or were purchased for use, or are royalty-free for use.

I used AI to generate some music for the game, and, well, I asked ChatGPT to help fix my code a few times because Amm... coding is hard ;-;
Most audio speech in the game is AI generated. Unit portraits were all enhanced using a diffusion based generative AI model by taking pictures of low polygon 3d meshes and using Stable Diffusion to make them more life-like.
The only uses of AI was a background remover for the logos, and to generate the assassin I use on the store page, there are some AI generated 2d elements inside of the game, but none of the 3d elements or map design is AI generated.

Store, library and splash art when launching the game may be generated by AI. No AI generated content is in the game itself.
The design of each character and location is thought out and created manually by me alone, but I also use neural networks in pre-production to help render fine details faster. No Live-Generated AI content is used.
In order to speed up the production level and progress of a small portion of posters and photos within frames, I used AI tools to generate this small piece. I maintain a cautious attitude towards using AI. It can only assist me with a small part of my art work, and the vast majority still require human brain design. For a highly creative game, I think there should still be human brain to complete the vast majority. AI can only do some art assistance work.
AI is used to generate the handful of character portraits. Original prompts describing each character is used, and iteratively adjusted to discover the final image that represents the character we imagine to be in our story world. The creative process taken to generate each character starts first with an imagination of what the inhabitants of the game's fantasy world setting would look like, including the personalities, outfit, abilities, jobs, and overall stylistic theme of the game, while balancing between character uniqueness versus technical complexity to implement. To avoid any legal issues, we use original prompts written by ourselves using generic descriptive keywords, without reference to any names of artists or existing creative works.
Music is AI generated. Store capsule and library image are AI generated.
The resource icons and some background textures for UI are AI generated images.

In Project ZETA, AI-generated content is actively utilized across various domains, including animation, sound, character design, and VFX. However, such content is employed solely to enhance development efficiency; all final art assets are meticulously reviewed and completed by designers to align with the project’s creative direction.
AI-powered software was used to generate graphics that are displayed on this shop page and in the game.
Ai is used in some of the background character's voices. The AI comes from Replica Studios (https://www.replicastudios.com/) and is legal and does not violate any copyright laws.
