The text on this game's Steam store page was drafted with the help of generative AI and then edited by the developer. All in-game art, models, sounds and the game's logo are made by hand. No AI-generated content is produced while the game is running.
Generative AI tools are used to assist with pre-generated localization and translation of game text and Steam Store content. No generative AI is used during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with programming and to create some pre-generated 2D visual assets, including icons and promotional artwork. All AI-assisted code and generated assets were reviewed, tested, edited, and integrated by the developer. No generative AI is used while the game is running, and no content is generated live.
This game was developed with the help of generative AI tools in the following areas: Some art assets, including characters, backgrounds, UI, and effects Store page capsule images and key art English localization of in-game text Portions of the source code All generated output was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer, and the final content is the developer's responsibility. No content is generated by AI while the game is running.
During development, we used Google Gemini AI to assist in generating narrative elements, such as item descriptions and quest lore. While the core story and world-building were meticulously designed by our human team, AI helped us expand the depth and variety of in-game text. All AI-assisted content has been thoroughly reviewed and edited by our developers to ensure quality and consistency.
Generative AI was used to translate some in-game text, such as the interface and the contents of letters, and to generate some of the music used in the game.
This game uses AI generation tools in the creation of some graphical assets, background music, and code.
The game's software architecture, logic scripts, and localization texts were drafted and optimized during the development process with the assistance of Rosebud AI. All assets, graphics, and code within the final application package are static, pre-rendered, and permanently compiled. No live or real-time AI generation occurs during gameplay, and the application does not connect to any external AI services.
Generative AI was used near the end of the development process to make the colored fur on the wolves seen in the cinematic video and also used side by side with the developer to create a simple but clean UI (user interface).
We Use AI to code the game and for Language localization.
The game to contain art assets generated by artificial intelligence
This game contains pre-generated content created with the assistance of generative AI, including selected visual assets, music, sound effects, and written content. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and curated by the developer before release. The game does not use generative AI to create content live while players are playing.
Generative AI was used as an assistant throughout development, and the developer reviewed and approved everything before it shipped. It helped draft part of the in-game text, some of the marketing copy, and the scripts that generate the artwork and the audio. No image or audio file came out of a generative model: every sprite, glyph, sound effect and music track is drawn or synthesised by deterministic code, and the same script always produces the same pixels and the same samples. The game does not generate any content with AI while you play.
Parts of this game's 2D art were created with the help of generative AI, and every generated asset was reviewed, edited and approved by us before it shipped. Specifically: • In-game UI icons (weapon and stat icons) start as AI-generated flat silhouettes, which we then clean up, recolour and integrate by hand. • Some marketing and store page imagery — background and atmospheric layers of our capsule art — is AI-generated. • Parts of the source code and some store page text were written with AI assistance and then reviewed, edited and tested by the developers. Everything else is made by hand, without generative AI: the logo, the app icon and mascot, all 3D models, materials, shaders and visual effects, level layouts. No generative AI runs while you play. The game does not create content or code at runtime, and it never connects to an external AI service.
Some visual assets used in Retro TV Tycoon were created with the assistance of generative AI. Specifically, AI-generated imagery is used for some of the fictional thumbnail artwork displayed in the **TV Catalog** and **Film Archives** sections of the game. These images are pre-generated assets created during development and are not generated dynamically while the game is running. Generative AI is not used to generate gameplay, player interactions, or live content. The AI-assisted images are used solely as visual illustrations and thumbnails representing fictional television programs and films within the game's catalog and archive interfaces.
Some art assets were initially created with the assistance of generative AI tools, then manually edited and finalized by the developer. AI tools were also used to assist with multilingual localization.
As a solo developer, I used generative AI tools during the development process to assist with creating game assets (such as character artwork and item graphics), composing background music, and generating or refining code snippets. All AI-assisted content was pre-generated prior to release and manually curated. No AI content is generated live during gameplay.
Generative AI is used to create the base designs and rough concepts for monsters and visual assets in the game.
Generative AI is used solely for localization from Japanese into other languages, both within the game itself and for external content such as this store page. All artwork and story content in the game are created by hand, and no generative AI is used in their creation.
Some graphical assets and sounds.
Generative AI tools assisted with some pre-generated player-facing text, localization, visual designs, and store and marketing content. All resulting material was reviewed and edited before inclusion. Random Mix does not use generative AI at runtime or connect to an AI service. Its music is generated locally through conventional procedural algorithms based on music-theory rules; no machine-learning model is involved.
We use genAI to help with translations, coding, and help develop concept art not used in the final game.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with programming and implementation. The developer created the original game and codebase, with AI assistance used to modify and expand portions of the code, including implementation of the graphics and other visual/gameplay elements.
Commentary was generated via ElevenLabs scripts.
No AI was used to create the artwork, animation, or sound effects. All of it is made by human hands. The game's English text is almost completely written by my hand. The other supported languages are partially AI-translated from my English source. Native-speaker review is ongoing, and corrected translations ship in updates. The soundtrack is original music that I've written over the last 30 years. I used AI to produce the final compositions.
Generative AI was used during development to assist in creating some of the pre-generated visual assets. All such assets were manually selected, modified, and integrated by the developers. The game does not generate content in real-time during gameplay, nor does it connect to external AI services.
Generative AI tools were used to assist in creating certain pre-rendered 2D assets, including achievement icons. These assets are static, were manually reviewed and edited before inclusion, and do not involve any live generation during gameplay. The game does not send player information to generative AI services.
We use AI to create frames that resemble feature phones. You can choose to show or hide the frames using the options.
The game uses a wide variety of artificial intelligence products in the art creation process. Ranging from 3d model generation to 2D art, music and sound effects.
We used coding assistance as well as music generation
Assisting with code creation and review Creating background images
Generative AI was used to prototype some UI elements. All AI generated content will be removed before game release.
The game does not generate AI content during play. Generative AI tools assisted development and contributed to some pre-generated content used in the game or its marketing. All shipped content was selected, edited, reviewed, and integrated by the development team, and the final product reflects our own creative direction.
Generative AI tools were used during the development of the game in the following areas: Programming & Code: The vast majority of the game's codebase was written with the assistance of AI. Graphics & Visuals: A portion of the 2D artwork, promotional graphics, and UI icons were generated or created using AI tools. Audio & Music: AI tools were used to generate some of the soundtrack. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and integrated into the final game by human developers.
Background Art — AI generation tools were used for some of the background images. Not all backgrounds were created with AI; hand-made backgrounds are also used. AI-assisted images were further processed to match the game's pixel art style. Music — The music in this game was created using AI generation tools.
All art is hand drawn by actual human hands! credit to MrMold. AI tools helped improve my programming, so i have to check a "yes, AI is used" here.
Generative AI tools were used only to assist with localization and the writing of text for the Steam store page. No content is generated while the product is running.
All spoken dialogue in KRIS: The Last Good Summer is generated using AI text-to-speech technology, in both English and German. No other game content (art, music, writing, or code) uses generative AI.
Generative AI tools were used during the development of Only Up: 2D Platformer to create and assist with certain game content. This includes portions of the game's code, some visual assets, the soundtrack, and additional localization content.
AI-assisted coding was used in the development of Xenovector, including systems responsible for procedural environments, visual effects and dynamically assembled in-game scenery. AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork was also used for in-game backgrounds and graphical elements, in addition to promotional/store assets.
Some in game and promotional visual assets were created using generative AI and then edited and integrated into FrogPop. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
