Some Steam store graphical assets for VN Engine 2D, such as capsule and library artwork, may have been created with AI assistance and were manually reviewed before submission.
VN Engine 2D is a desktop editor for creating 2D visual novels and interactive story projects. The Steam build does not include player-facing live AI generation, does not connect to external AI services during use, and does not require users to enter third-party API keys or pay for AI services outside of Steam.
We used generative AI tools in a few clearly defined parts of this project, and we want to be upfront about where.
During development, we used AI coding assistants to help write and review parts of the source code, the same way many modern studios use these tools. We also used generative AI to help create some of the store page and marketing assets, such as promotional images and parts of the written copy. Everything produced this way was checked, edited, and approved by us before it went live.
Inside the app itself, the background removal feature runs on machine learning models to cut backgrounds out of images that you choose to load. These models only process the images you give them, on your own machine, and nothing is generated or sent anywhere without your action.
The core gameplay experience, meaning the overlays you place, the cursor effects, the pinning behavior, and the audio reactive features, is built from regular code and does not generate content with AI at runtime. Any HTML overlays you get from the Steam Workshop are made and shared by other users, so their content is up to whoever created them.
We do not use AI to generate live content that changes on its own while you use the app, and we do not train models on your data.
Elftia is an AI agent platform. Through an included service, it connects to leading third-party AI models - large language models and image, video, music and speech generators - to power its agents. Elftia does not bundle, train or fine-tune any model of its own; all content is generated in real time by those models in response to the user's input. New users receive free starter credits, and additional usage can be purchased through Steam. Conversations and generated content are saved to the user's local library on their device.
Hagicode is a software tool for code development that interfaces with third-party CLI tools. Accordingly, it invokes third-party CLI tools for content generation. These CLI tools, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and others, are installed and used by users on their own computers independently.
Users utilizing these CLI tools are generally professional developers. Hagicode does not invoke any third-party AI generation services other than the aforementioned CLI tools. It merely acts as a caller to coordinate and display outputs returned by the CLI tools.
Therefore, Hagicode shall not be liable for the generated results and content. Hagicode is not the actual generator and implementer, but only a caller.
Divookoa is primarily handcrafted, next-generation software and does not rely on AI-generated content as part of the player-facing experience.

MetaDoc uses generative AI to assist users in writing, editing, and structuring documents. AI features include text generation, rewriting, summarization, and outline creation.
AI services are provided and managed by MetaDoc through its own backend infrastructure. Users can access AI features using in-app credits or subscriptions purchased via Steam.
A limited free quota may be available for initial experience and testing purposes.
All AI-generated content is initiated, controlled, and reviewed by the user. Users are responsible for the content they generate and choose to use.

As a solo developer, I utilized AI technology during development to speed up the generation of art assets. However, please rest assured that all AI-generated content underwent my strict hand-picking, refinement, and optimization. The final game's art style, art direction, and all creative decisions were entirely led, controlled, and are the sole responsibility of me, the developer.
