This area used AI: background design.
We use generative AI as an assistive tool in the following areas of development: Art (Character Portraits) — AI is used to generate initial draft sketches for character portraits. All AI-generated drafts are manually refined, redrawn, and finalized by our artists to meet our quality and style standards. Art (UI Icons) — AI is used to generate a portion of UI icons for the game interface., All AI-generated outputs are reviewed, modified, and approved by our team before inclusion in the final product. We ensure that no AI-generated content infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
A portion of the card art in Gather CCG was created with the assistance of generative AI. Every piece of AI-generated content has been hand-selected and verified by the developer to maintain high quality and ensure full compliance with copyright standards.
Some graphic elements use AI-generated images.
AI is being used only on promotional materials of the game as such as posters, banners.
As a solo developer starting out a hobby project, I used different AI generated images early on. I have since, after deciding to stick with the game, attempted to clean up and change to known license images and content, or make and remake where possible.
This game includes content created with the assistance of generative AI. AI tools were used to help create some visual assets, including promotional images, UI/background concepts, and selected in-game art references. AI-assisted coding tools were also used during development to help draft, refactor, debug, and improve parts of the game code. All generated or AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer before inclusion in the game.
During the game's Early Access (EA) phase, we used AI to quickly build gameplay prototypes, including some art assets. These assets will be iteratively replaced upon the official 1.0 release.
Partial initial generation of graphical images during the game development process.
This project is being developed by a small two-person team. The use of AI tools in this project is strictly limited to the following assets: - flag textures - selected marketing assets and voice lines We plan to replace these elements with fully original, custom-created assets and professionally recorded voice acting as soon as funding allows. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team to ensure consistency and quality.
At current development stage, the AI generated pre-rendered content are only used for placeholders. Later they will be replaced by the actual hand drawn artworks.
Some assets in Witherheart, including visuals and audio, were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All content has been curated and integrated by the development team.
Some of temporary 2d assets are generated with AI for the demo and intended to be replaced with no-ai art for the full game
AI tools were used to assist in the conceptualization of store page art and background art. The final in-game assets are hand-crafted pixel art based on these AI-generated concepts.
I have used AI tools to produce code, images and music for the game.
Generative II was used to create various enemy icons and background images. Game content, mechanics and internal game materials were created manually.
Geminum uses AI to generate mainly focus on sound effect, music and actor lines.Partly uses AI on a few object texture.
Some minor visual elements such as parts of the logo design and a few user-interface textures were originally assisted by generative tools and then refined manually.
Music AI generated music, icons and voice overs.
This game uses generative AI tools to assist with some pre-generated visual assets, including background art, character-related promotional art, item imagery, and store page materials. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, selected, and edited by the developer before release. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
1).Opening Story background images. 2).Character portrait images are AI-assisted.
Some in-game artwork currently uses AI-generated assets. These are temporary and may be replaced as development progresses.
Some of the images and artwork in this game were made with the help of generative AI tools.
This game contains some pre-generated content created with the help of generative AI, including portions of certain art, audio, and store or marketing visuals. All such content was reviewed and integrated by the developer. No live-generated AI is used during gameplay.
AI was only used to help create UI image elements.
Some promotional images were created or enhanced using generative AI tools. The game also contains AI-generated voice narration. All AI-generated content was reviewed and integrated by the developer
All art assets were generated using generative AI
Only two images (capsule and library) were generated using AI tools and manually edited afterward. No in-game content or promotional trailers use AI.
In the demo version, to support development, we use AI-assisted tools to create PLACEHOLDER CONTENT ONLY. These assets are temporary and will NOT appear in the final version of the game.

During the development and live service of the game, AI-based tools may be utilized to support in game visual content creation, marketing materials, live chat translation features, and partial in-game dialogue and script localization. In all such cases and regardless of the workflow, the final product is a reflection of our own development team's creativity and artistic expression.
In the development stage of the game early concept arts were altered or partly generated using Artificial Intelligence. These generated images were then used as a refference for the artists who worked on the designs of the game.
During the development period, AI generated concept art was used to speed up our process.
AI used to generate Steam Store page artwork.
Generative AI was used as a foundational tool for select artwork in this game. All AI-generated base images were extensively reworked, edited, and refined by hand to ensure they perfectly match the game's unique atmosphere and artistic vision. Please note that AI was only utilized for specific assets, not the entirety of the game's artwork.
This game contains content created with the assistance of generative AI during development. Generative AI tools were used to help create and iterate on parts of the game code, sound effects, music, artwork, images, and multilingual translations. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, selected, and integrated by the developer. The game does not use generative AI to create content during gameplay.
This game includes AI-assisted content created during development. AI tools were used to support the creation of certain visual assets and/or design elements. All content has been reviewed, refined, and curated by the development team to ensure quality and consistency.
Background images and landscape visuals were generated with AI and subsequently refined and hand-tuned by an artist.
This game includes a small number of pre-generated visual assets created with the assistance of generative AI during development, specifically certain background images and button icons
Some use of AI for art modification of licensed content.
The current version of the game utilizes a variety of AI-assisted / AI-generated assets to support its development. My intent is to eventually replace or further polish as many of these assets as is feasible during the Early Access journey, though this remains a long-term aspiration. - 2D Assets: Some character portraits, backgrounds, minor textures, and store artwork are generated or enhanced using AI (e.g. style transfer from custom 3D renders and upscaling). These assets are further edited and integrated manually. - Narrative Slides: Images used in story sequences are AI-generated and used with minimal or no manual modification. - Voice Acting: Dialogue voiceovers use text-to-speech (TTS). - Text: Store descriptions, in-game text, and dialogue are written by the developer and refined using AI tools for clarity, consistency, and phrasing (e.g. tooltips and ability descriptions).
Generative AI (Claude by Anthropic) was used extensively during development to assist with code generation. The game's icon was also created with AI image tools. Game design, mechanics, and creative direction were by the developer.
The image resources in the game are generated by AI.
I use AI in this project for generation of some static art assets such as title screens, UI elements, Steam store assets, item images in inventory, and the large world map. AI is NOT used for generating the engine-rendered gameplay, with exception of an image of an item dropped to the ground. All environment tiles, objects and decorations, as well as animated entities (humans, monsters, etc) are generated by human artists. This is a very demanding project; should I get more money and access to artists, ideally I would replace all AI assets. Ideally...
Voice performances are AI-assisted. A small number of visual assets were created with AI assistance. Sound design, gameplay, and narrative content are original. No AI-generated content is produced during gameplay.
Marshals of War is the result of years of work by a solo developer, supported by freelance artists and collaborators. Generative AI has been used to explore ideas and directions, influencing some assets in the game and its marketing. Handcrafted work remains the primary process behind the game’s development.
Some graphical assets are generated using AI as templates. These are then proccesses manually in a custom made animation software or edited in image editing software.
We used AI in some of the UI assets of the game. It was used for ideas as well as to generate some of the icons that would then be cleaned up by us and added in. Our main programmer didn't use any AI for code, but our newbie programmer did use it to help with learning code and to develop/help with smaller portions of the game.
My background image was generated by AI, and it was not used anywhere else.
Some elements of the game’s artwork and text have been created with the help of generative AI.
