Public Steam disclosure research 25,878 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI has been used to generate logos and other game artwork.
AI Disclosure All writing, directing, editing, art direction and production, and all music and sprite work were fully created and/or imagined by Julio Salazar. KAIBIL includes limited AI-assisted elements: Music by Udio; Video by Hailuo; Sprites: assisted by ChatGPT
AI was used to create the app icon
Generative AI helped me make this project from start to finish. It helped me write code, organize my work, stay focused, and build the art, sound, and design. Grammarly helped me polish my writing. Claude Code helped me repair code. ChatGPT helped me plan and think through systems and color. The Unity engine brought it all together. There is AI in this project, just as there is in almost every tool we all use today.
This game does not use any artificial intelligence in its gameplay. Some assets (such as sound effects and a few images) were generated or assisted by AI tools, including ElevenLabs for voice work and Sora for visual creation during the production phase.
All of our 3D assets including characters, environments, and props are hand-made by humans. Some 2D elements (UI, icons, textures) and select sound effects may use AI tools, but no asset is fully AI-generated.
Game contains images generated by AI.
Some background images are AI Generated
AI-generated images were used in the game's development, either as final assets or artistic inspiration.
Explore the Universe 2175 uses AI in two distinct ways, and we want to be clear about both. Real-time simulation (the core of the game). The galaxy is driven by a custom AI system we built ourselves. Faction behavior, MEGABOT's roaming strategy, enemy tactics, and the way wars unfold across sectors are all computed live in our own engine — not generated text or assets. This is procedural and rule-based simulation: the "intelligence" you fight against is real-time decision-making, the same category as the AI in any strategy game, just deeper. Dialogue is human-written, scripted in advance. Music and sound are human-created. Some in-game entity visuals and animations are AI-generated (created during development, not dynamically while you play). Some marketing and store-page images are AI-generated. Gameplay screenshots are authentic. No AI-generated content is used to deceive players or misrepresent the game.
This game uses AI-generated illustrations. Additionally, the translation was done using AI.
The character's voice and several images of nature are generated by AI.
The promotional images of the game store interface, game icons, in-game item pictures, and background music are all generated by AI.
Artificial intelligence was used in the cover photo and visuals of the game.
This game uses Chat GPT 4o, Gemini 2.0, and Stable Diffusion (Model: AnythingXL) for background drawing, cover backgrounds, some props for compositing, and a small number of character illustrations.

We use AI to create graphic content.
Some of the music, sound effects, and visuals in this game have been generated using AI technologies, bringing a unique and creative twist to the game's overall experience.
Some visual assets (including capsule art and promotional images) were created using AI-assisted tools and further refined manually. No AI-generated content appears in gameplay, and no AI is used during runtime.
Some ingame arts created with AI help.
Some of the promotional and storefront images were created with AI tools and then refined by hand. All of the in-game assets were designed by a 3D artist.
We used AI in our art pipeline in order to improve some of our background scenery where possible.
AI was used to create music and skill icons.
The cover and library assets for this title include elements generated or enhanced with AI-assisted technology. And also, Character meshes and a few item meshes were generated using AI-assisted tools.
AI generates a few images and icons, reviewed manually.
“Pre-Generated AI Content” – Used for promotional materials only
Some UI icons and store artwork have been AI generated.
This work uses illustrations created by a generative AI (Midjourney) in part.
Arena of Death uses AI tools only during development for creative asset generation — such as producing concept art, logos, and voice prototypes. No AI systems are used during gameplay, and the game itself does not include AI-driven player behavior, decision-making, or content generation. All final in-game assets are curated, edited, and approved by the development team to ensure originality and quality.
Part of Non-Interactable Visual Novel Background Pictures
AI was used to improve image quality, as well as to process music and sound effects.
This game does not use AI during gameplay. Some visual and audio assets were created with AI assistance during development, but all content in the final game is fixed, manually reviewed, and does not involve any live AI.
Forsaken features artwork developed with generative AI.
2D art assets, text (translations, store descriptions)
Generative AI has been used only for the following things but will be replaced before the full release: -Voice announcements at the start of the battle -A few GUI elements and buttons
Some promotional and marketing images were partially created using generative AI tools. No AI-generated content appears in the actual gameplay or in-game assets
This game extensively utilizes AI technology in character design, UI, visual effects, sound effects, music, and promotional artwork, enhancing production efficiency while exploring innovative styles.
AI-generated illustrations are used for the skill icons.
Certain visual content within the game was created using generative AI. This includes the static background images and illustrations that appear as part of the main storyline and narrative progression
There is no AI-generated content in the game itself, but there is on the store page; the photos of the store's resources and the library resources were generated by AI, as were the promotional materials.
Some of the Game's artistic materials are generated via the "Jimeng AI" platform. The Developer has paid the membership fee and complied with the platform's rules. Such materials are created through the Developer's clear creative intent, personalized prompt design, and post-generation adjustments, which meet the standard of "substantial human contribution". The intellectual property rights of these materials shall be owned by the Developer. The materials have been labeled as AI-generated in accordance with the Measures for the Identification of AI-Generated Synthetic Content.
Some images in this game have been adapted from ai prompt outputs
AI was used temporarily to prototype some UI elements. These will be refined or replaced during development.
The core character designs are created manually, but I use AI to refine details and backgrounds. AI is not used to directly generate any in-game content during gameplay. The game’s translation was also done with the help of AI.
Generative AI was used in the creation of promotional images for the store, such as the logo and banners. In addition, generative AI was used for character voice audio included in both the main game and promotional videos (PV), as well as for the production of certain video segments within the PV.
Steam store background / images
To restyle ingame screenshots, sort of like a filter on the image guide I create.
