"Red Chair uses AI-assisted tools (such as ChatGPT and Midjourney) during development. AI was used to help generate story materials, detective case files, and narrative texts, as well as some promotional artworks and store capsules. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and finalized by our writing and art team before being included in the game. No gameplay logic, detective mechanics, or interactive features were generated by AI."

Hello! Since I’m new to this environment, I’m not yet fully familiar with how the process works. AI tools were partially used to create some of the promotional images for the store page and a few in-game photos depicting students.
While developing the game we used various AI software to generate background images for our levels. Overall, we created more than 20,000 image out of which we selected the ones to be used in this first game release. We then further edited these / combined them in a photo editor to create the final background renderings seen in the game. Some of these images are also visible on the Steam Store page. However, the game itself does not use on-the-fly generative AI while the game is running. All AI images were pre-rendered during the development phase. We also used AI to generate background music for all levels. We create over two hundred hours of such music, and then edited these to better suite our needs. The game itself does not contain any real time generative AI for music.
Steam graphical assets (Store Page small background, Library background banner)
Throughout the development of our game, we may leverage AI-based tools to assist our small two-person team in content creation, but please rest assured that what you see in the game primarily reflects the creativity and hard work of our team; all core gameplay mechanics, level design, story, and programming were created entirely by our developers. Specifically, AI tools were utilized to generate atmospheric background music, eerie sound effects, and ambient noises for the Sound Design and Music, and were also used for minor visual elements such as unique textures, pictures, and posters used in some of our environments.
This game uses generative AI tools during development to create certain pre-rendered visual assets, such as application icons and desktop wallpapers.
The game contains AI-generated art assets. AI characters, as featured content, account for no more than 10% of the overall game. The primary goal of using AI characters in the game is to expand the possibilities of interactive film and television games. Beyond this, AI-generated content accounts for no more than 1% of the overall art assets. The AI technology and AI-generated characters used in the game are copyrighted and protected by law.
During development, we used AI-assisted tools in a limited way to explore/promote content: (1) some store capsule artwork, (2) certain in-game icons, and (3) draft variations of dialogue and story beats. All final assets were human-reviewed and edited for originality, style consistency, and IP compliance. The game does not use live generative AI at runtime or connect to AI services during play.
This game was developed with the extensive use of generative AI 'Gemini' for many processes, including coding and image generation. While AI helped improve development efficiency, all final adjustments and quality control were done manually to ensure a polished experience for players.
Some background images and player skins include visuals generated by AI.
Arts are generated with AI support
The capsule logo and lots of code were generated with AI.
Some icons and translations in game and store page.
Main title splash picture partially AI generated.
We used generative-AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/OpenAI image generation and PlaygroundAI) to create some pre-rendered 2D art such as backgrounds, character illustrations, and other ingame asset images. No live AI or code generation occurs during gameplay, and players do not provide prompts. All outputs were human reviewed and edited, and created under licenses permitting commercial use; we avoid copyrighted characters and real-person likenesses.
Main logo picture is AI adjusted. However, The rest of the pictures like the adventurer inside the game after selection like The player character and monsters are fully hand drawn by a person I know. Background pictures might have AI in them as i didnt make them but they are free pictures to use. (Ive checked this before adding them into the game) The game dont use any AI to sort itself or any fighting mechanic in the game as ive made the code myself.
AI tools assisted in generating specific store asset components, which human artists then edited, refined, and finalized.
AI has been used to create some of the image for my steam page.
The images on the store page are generated by artificial intelligence, but no such images are included in the game.
Marketing materials only
We used AI tools to optimize and enhance some of our pictures used in market page. They are not fully AI generated, just edited.
Some textures, objects, and parts of monsters were created with the help of AI, based on my sketches and followed by extensive edits. All the rest of the visuals are a mix of drawings and edited photographs.
This game does not generate AI content during gameplay. Some promotional materials and in-game art assets were created with the assistance of AI tools under a commercial-use license, with all content curated and finalized by the developer.
The illustrations, character avatars, and some images were generated using AI.
The second and third bosses use AI-generated templates. All other artwork is human-created.

Some of the game's background images and icons were created with AI assistance.
Art: Illustrations were produced from images generated via Midjourney and ComfyUI, then color-corrected, composited, and resized by the team. Audio: Music was generated with Suno and then edited, mixed, and mastered for in-game use. Additional note: No AI is used to make gameplay decisions, and no player data is used for AI training.
We here at Toffee Co. used generative-AI tools during development to create artwork and write all the code. No content is generated while the game runs. All shipped assets were reviewed/edited by us; no real-person likenesses or third-party copyrighted IP are used.
Used AI only for making Game Logo and BGM.
This game outputs the battle scenes and the strength of the monsters drawn by the player.
