Public Steam disclosure research25,706 disclosures tracked
Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
I use AI-Generated pictures for the game art, as well as the store page. I am unfortunately not a graphical artist.
Also, the fake images of the women you can spend time with are AI-Generated, and don't resemble real people.
There are AI-Generated paintings in the game that are of a comedic/bromance nature, that I created.
I used AI-generated images as inspiration in the creation of visuals. These images served as a starting point, and I then manually refined and adjusted them to create the final banners and promotional materials.
Some graphic content on the store page was generated with Artificial Intelligence. In the game, some graphic images, the paintings hanging around the house, and the voice acting are created with Artificial Intelligence.
It came to our attention that certain assets and translations were created using AI by third parties. Most have been enhanced and fixed with handmade content.
We aim to remove all the AI content post release.
Lumoryn: Whispering Worlds uses Generative AI only to assist in the creation of Steam achievements and their icon artwork displayed on the Steam store.
All gameplay systems, world design, characters, quests, dialogue, mechanics, and in-game content are entirely designed and created by human developers. Generative AI is not used for gameplay logic, narrative design, player interactions, or dynamic in-game content.
Some of the environmental art in the game was created using artificial intelligence (AI) tools and was subsequently manually processed to align with the overall artistic style.
We would like to inform our players that certain content in this game has been created using AI-assisted pre-rendering techniques. To ensure the highest quality and alignment with our creative vision, all such content has undergone thorough human review and refinement. This hybrid approach allows us to enhance efficiency while maintaining the artistic integrity and attention to detail that we strive to deliver in our work. Thank you for your support and understanding.
AI was used in a very limited capacity, only for generating some voice lines, a small number of texture variations, and a few Steam store page images. All gameplay, code, environments, characters, animations, and overall game design were handcrafted manually by the developers.
The vast majority of the artwork in the game was created by our team of artists, hired freelancers or purchased on market places. In some cases, AI was used to generate reference images to assist with the creative process, but all final assets were either fully redrawn or significantly refined by human artists to ensure quality and originality.
For this project, some images in the game were created using artificial intelligence tools. This technology was used in a limited way, only for visual generation, with all other content produced manually.
Due to cost constraints, some of the in-game art resources (some item icons) in this project are generated using AI, while the video part is entirely shot on real machines with a small amount of post-production special effects. The content generated by AI accounts for less than 1% of the total material.
All our puzzles are created from 3D scans of real world places or modelled by human 3D artists.
Occasionally our 3D artists use some limited generative AI tools as part of their process, e.g. for cleaning up texture artifacts of 3D scans or adding small details like figures or objects.
We will never use any fully AI generated content directly in the game.
Artificial intelligence is used only for generating the promotional artwork displayed on the store page. All in-game content, including pets and their interactions, has been carefully crafted without AI, ensuring a unique and handcrafted experience for players.

Some graphical and auditory assets for Sonak were developed using Image and sound effect generation software.
The majority of generated content is Icons, and sound effects that the player will encounter while playing Sonak.
All assets generated were manually changed and designed to fit the look and feel of the game.
During the creation of Secret Seeker, we utilized artificial intelligence (AI) to support our development process. AI assisted us in generating the game's cover art and marketing materials, as well as creating selected in-game texts. Additionally, the voice of the narrator featured in both the game and the trailer was produced using AI-based tools.
