Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Development Stage: AI was used during the development phase for generating specific art assets.
Types of Assets: Background scenes , some interface elements, element - technology and building icons.
AI Tools Used: DALL-E.
Extent of AI Use:
AI-generated content forms a part of the visual assets but edited by humans (me and the 3D artist).
No live generation of AI content occurs while the game is running.
Initial AI-generated designs were used as a base, which were modified to ensure they suits with the game's style and aesthetic requirements.
This process involved altering AI-generated content to avoid any resemblance to copyrighted materials and ensuring originality.
All of the characters in the game are represented as damaged marble sculptures. The choice of this particular style was absolutely conscious and one of the main ideas was to evoke a certain feeling. This is pretty much how objects of material culture from classical antiquity came down to us. This is how we frequently perceive classical antiquity. And it fits the subject matter of these tragedies quite well.
The imagery was generated with the aid from the AI and then tweaked manually.
The following content is used in some parts of this game
・AI-generated images
・AI-generated illustrations with modifications
・Music including some AI-generated melodies
The artists in our game who sell you their artwork are themselves a form of artificial intelligence. To stay true to these artists, the artwork they offer to sell you was generated using our novel artwork combined with ethically sourced generative AI. Elements of our code and dialogue have been edited, in part, using large language models. Steam community assets & marketing materials have been, in part, created with the assistance of Google Gemini or with Adobe Photoshop's generative AI. Some music in the game and promotional materials were generated using Suno.
As a team of 2 we have utilized AI in our early development stages, including some concepts, logo design, coding, 3D models and music.
Most of these assets are considered placeholder content, helping us get the fastest ideas in while we work on other subjects. Most AI generated content have/will be replaced or reworked into more refined pieces for the final product.
The game features AI-generated sound effects. To provide players with so many languages, we used AI for localization. We'll do everything we can to ensure better translation quality in the full version. Additionally, we used artificial intelligence to create some graphics like wallpapers, steam cards and other smaller graphics.
This game uses AI-generated assets during Early Access only.
We used generative AI tools to create placeholder content such as textures, music, sound effects, and artwork, in order to accelerate development and testing during Early Access.
None of this content is generated at runtime — it is all pre-generated and static.
For the full release, we are fully committed to replacing all AI-generated assets with original, human-created content.
Transparency is important to us, and we’re actively working toward removing AI placeholders before the final version.
Generative AI is used for the following items.
In-game photo-like images
Textures of 3D models
Images for advertising
There is no real-time used generative AI.
I am using AI to generate images to be used for educational purposes along with vector stock images. Important note: I do not train AI models on Northwest coast art nor will I train it on the illustration work of tribal community.
