Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI is used only for the player character model, main menu page and store page.
AI was used solely to generate some cover images
The game uses generative artificial intelligence to generate some pre-rendered visual content.
AI generation is used for background images.
Some background textures include AI-generated content. There is nothing that is being generated live in real-time by Al.
translation, some images
I use commercially licensed AI generated graphics assets as temporary placeholders for some card images and icons because of the frequent card design changes. They will be replaced by manual art after the card designs are finalized in the released game.
Few marketing materials have been AI generated
We sometimes use AI to kickstart ideas or test directions, but everything in Spell Beat is shaped, reworked, and hand-polished by real humans until it feels juicy. AI experiments mainly help us figure out what NOT to make. The final experience is crafted by actual people who care way too much about way too many details.
Certain names, descriptions & flavor texts are written with the assistance of large language models. All AI content is edited with a heavy human hand.
AI was used to voice the character and create the game logo.
Some of the images featured in the game are AI-generated.
The game uses a large language model to evaluate the player's deductions. The game does NOT use generative AI for dialogues, 2D art, 3D models, music, or voice.
AI generated Pictures. Backgrounds ,Icons Buttons, Faces. For ilustration only. Like Common office,, common Production, common sales department. No brands pointed. Some Photos and some Photoshop to merge the Images. As This game is on The math and strategie,, the Visuals are only here to look nice.
We leveraged AI tools to enhance creativity and streamline certain aspects of development, ensuring a more immersive experience for players.
Some banners and promotional materials, were created with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
This game was built by a solo dev experimenting with GenAI. GenAI tools were used to help draft character portraits, reward videos, and icons (Jokers, Mods, Stagecoaches, Trinkets) along with background variations and some marketing materials. Every asset that made it into the final game was reviewed, refined, and approved by hand. No GenAI systems interact with players during gameplay and no visual content is live-generated. The game also does not collect or use player data for AI training or adaptive behavior.
In the Early Access builds of our game, we are using some AI generated imagery for 3D model textures and Narrative Splash Art. It is our intention to have all of this artwork replaced by the time of the games official release, however any AI generated artwork in the game has been made with locally generated and publicly available models. We have made all efforts to comply with the most up to date Creative Commons guidelines on use of AI generated content in media, and as such consider all AI generated works used to be public domain, and as such will keep a publicly available repository of any AI generated assets we use.

The game has NO ai-generated content. The page localization is done with AI tools but it will be replaced when the game will be localized (without AI).
2 or 3 textures from the main illustration were AI-generated and subsequently edited and adapted to the final artwork. No in-game graphics were generated using AI.
AI has been used to help develop the game's cover art.
Generative AI was used to assist in the coding of this game only. All artwork, level design, game sounds and music are 100% human-made.
AI content was used for voice overs and some marketing materials
To streamline the creative process, AI-assisted tools were used to enhance and accelerate artwork production, ensuring a distinctive visual style while maintaining full artistic direction.
Some assets and marketing materials for Duckpool were created using generative AI as a base. However, all AI-generated content has been heavily modified, refined, and manually adjusted to fit the game’s unique style and artistic vision. No live AI generation occurs during gameplay.
Game icons using AI
Some graphical and auditory assets for Sonak were developed using Image and sound effect generation software. The majority of generated content is Icons, and sound effects that the player will encounter while playing Sonak. All assets generated were manually changed and designed to fit the look and feel of the game.

Ai was used to generate some marketing media
Statement on the Use of AI in the Game’s Visual Assets For the creation of the visual assets in The Hyperrealist Rock in a Surreal World, we have used artificial intelligence tools. All images have been manually reviewed and edited to ensure their artistic consistency, originality, and compliance with the quality standards required for publication. We want to make it clear that none of the images infringe on third-party copyrights and that all content has been created exclusively for this project. We are committed to transparency and fully comply with Steam's policies regarding the use of AI in game development.
All gameplay design, level creation, and art direction are human-crafted. Select background music tracks and UI textures in the current build were created with AI assistance. Original bespoke compositions are being produced for final release.
We use only the AI to generate the background in the game menu. The rest of it are used assets.
AI has only been used to enlarge the image of the main goblin.
Voice overs during game intro sequence. Some card art concepts. Some sound effects.
ChatGPT was used to assist in rewriting text/descriptions, generating game logic, debugging and refactoring code for the game. No live-generated AI content has been used.
All character images except for the hero classes were created in Daz Studio, and icons were made in Photoshop using Creative Commons assets. Most older backgrounds were later touched up with an AI tool. The story, dialogues, quests, gameplay and balancing were written and crafted by the developer over years of work.
Our game uses AI-generated images as a starting point for background art and concept designs. These AI-generated images are then heavily edited and refined manually by our artists to ensure unique and high-quality assets. AI is not used during live gameplay, and all final game assets are reviewed and modified by human artists before implementation.
We use AI to let our robots express themselves! If a robot became alive, it wouldn’t come pre-programmed with the perfect way to express its thoughts or emotions — it would have to figure it out along the way. That’s why the hero robots in Endless Machines use AI to give voice to their thoughts and feelings. What they say isn’t always polished or logical. It's quirky, weird, funny, and sometimes unexpectedly touching. It’s not a scripted, perfect dialogue. It’s more like a robot trying to make sense of the world — and itself — in real time. This approach makes their personalities dynamic and unpredictable. For us, that’s what makes AI-driven dialogue a perfect fit for the game: It’s about learning, exploring, and growing — just like the robots themselves. Under the hood, the game runs a small language model that has been custom fine-tuned for each robot's personality. It is instructed to speak through prompt engineering, ensuring the robot stays in character and relates to the game's lore. The model does not require online access. We chose to use SmolLM because we were looking for a language model where the training background, technical setup, and use of data are transparent (open source and based on publicly available texts), and where the model can be run locally. We use this locally hosted language model (LLM) to generate text content during gameplay. What the robots say in the game is defined and moderated by us. We have written a set of foundational texts that form the basis for each robot’s personality, tone, and way of expressing itself. From that foundation, they “build” further and develop over time. Endless Machines does not and cannot collect any data from the person playing the game. All outputs are guided by custom prompt engineering, custom fine-tuning, and are controlled by local code at runtime to ensure appropriate content. More details on the model architecture and dataset can be found here: 🔗 https://huggingface.co/datasets/HuggingFaceTB/smoltalk
In the development of this game, generative AI tools were utilized to assist in the creation of a few textures, images, and translations. As a solo developer, this approach aimed to enhance the visual and linguistic quality of the game, ensuring a more immersive experience for players. All AI-generated content was carefully reviewed and refined to align with the game's artistic vision and maintain high-quality standards.
The capsule art was created using generative AI, with an artist refining 75-90% of it to correct mistakes and enhance its character.
AI was used to generate content on the game page (game cover art)
AI has been used to help develop the game's cover art.
100% of the in-game art was made by artists, including marketing material. However, some of the in-game text was created with the assistance of AI tools.
Some skybox textures have been enhanced using AI.
Some assets in this game, including parts of the code and dialogue, were enhanced with AI assistance.
Some audio files were enhanced using AI to improve sound quality.
The promotional video of this game uses AI to generate voiceovers for the video. This technology is only used for producing promotional videos.
