Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
The majority of 5 Girls, 1 Honey was created manually, including:
all 3D characters and outfits
character animations
story and dialogue
core gameplay systems
However, a few visual elements were originally generated with the help of AI and then manually enhanced by our team. These include:
* the cinematic for the intros
* background visuals on the map and date scenes
* some decorative UI elements and static screens
We hope these AI-supported parts enrich the overall experience.
All images used for the store page and library were generated with AI tools and then resized and adjusted manually before being used in the game’s presentation.
The user can freely interact with NPCs in the game world through voice chat.
The sister’s voice is generated in real time using a TTS model.
Some 3D game objects are initially generated using AI tools and are then retouched by the developers. All AI-generated content is reviewed and modified by human creators before being used in the game.
We do not collect or store any user voice data under any circumstances.
Some of the character designs and 3D models in this game were created using generative AI tools. Animations, environments, and gameplay systems were designed and implemented manually.
Some artwork was initially created with AI generation tools, but all assets were manually edited, refined, and finalized by me (composition, logo placement, adjustments, and corrections). No unedited AI output is used.
Escape the Maze was developed by a solo developer. Some elements of the game, including store page visuals and text, were created using generative AI tools during development. All final assets have been carefully reviewed and manually refined to ensure accuracy, quality, and full compliance with Steam’s content guidelines.
The game also features AI-controlled enemy behavior, such as a zombie that chases players in the maze. However, no live-generated AI content is used during gameplay.
This game contains pre-created images that were generated using generative AI.
The AI content is used only as static graphics within the game and in marketing materials.
No AI generation takes place during the runtime of the game.
Self made images have been put through AI to make them look a certain way, and after they have been edited to fit in the game, mainly in textures. Also used in the same way for marketing imagery.
Some in-game assets were created using AI tools, including certain audio effects, character voices, a small number of meshes, and portions of in-game text. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and integrated to fit the game’s design and narrative.
This game has integrated Artificial Intelligence tools to optimize its development and enhance the player experience. AI was used in several stages:
Visual and artistic design: generation of concepts, environments, and visual elements to inspire and define the game’s aesthetic.
Narrative and atmosphere: support in creating dialogues, texts, and events while maintaining consistency in the story.
Gameplay testing and balancing: simulations and analysis to adjust difficulty, enemy behaviors, and game pacing.
The use of AI did not replace creative work but served as a support tool to streamline processes and enhance the final quality of the project.
In our game, we use AI to generate textures dynamically, allowing for more diverse and detailed environments. This AI-driven approach enables the creation of unique visual assets without relying entirely on manual design, saving time while enhancing the game's aesthetic.
Some visual elements in this game were generated using generative AI tools during development. These elements have been carefully reviewed to ensure they do not infringe copyrights or contain inappropriate content. The game does not use AI to generate content during gameplay. These elements are Caramel syrup, Chocolate syrup, and Coffee Creamer.
We used generative-AI tools during development to draft concept art and some store/marketing visuals and text. All outputs were manually reviewed, repainted, and edited before inclusion. The game does not generate content at runtime and does not send any player data to AI services.
> The player’s two robotic companions, the assistant Helena and the radio host, use AI voice synthesis.
> Some visual assets, such as menu art, environmental textures, and achievement icons, were created with the help of AI image generation.
