Public Steam disclosure research 25,519 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Concept art
In Realm Road, AI is used to generate 2D spirte art of actors, characters, battle backgrounds, some musics. That is all for AI...
Background images were generated with AI.
Game posters are AI generated.
We use AI to create pre-generated content for the game, including game design concepts, scenarios, and progression systems, as well as for voiceovers in marketing materials and community assets. No AI is used for real-time content or code generation during gameplay.
Some images and voiceovers are AI-generated, but they do not constitute the core part of the game.
Some of the game's music tracks were created using generative AI as a creative support tool. All compositions were manually selected, edited, and adapted to match the style and atmosphere of the game.
The game's intro video contains 50% AI-generated drawings
Fartal Error is developed by a very small independent studio. Due to limited resources, we occasionally rely on generative AI tools for specific visual elements, such as some in-game illustrations, assets and marketing materials. These tools are used thoughtfully and selectively, always under human direction, to preserve a cohesive artistic vision. We value transparency, and we encourage players to consider this information when deciding whether the game is right for them.

We use AI to quickly generate marketing materials—both images and text—during development to save time and explore ideas. These help us share the game's vision early, even as assets are still being created. All AI-generated content will be replaced with in-game footage and original art from our team as development progresses.
Some minor decorative elements in the game, such as posters and paintings, were created with the assistance of AI tools and then manually edited. AI usage is limited to these visual assets and does not affect gameplay.
Partially use in Graphics. (some 3D Model and Textures generations)

In the game, AI (DeepSeek) was used to create some natural landscape images, such as mountains, forests, houses, and fantasy spaces. All the above-mentioned content consists of images. Furthermore, all these elements were generated entirely by AI (DeepSeek) based on brief textual descriptions, created from scratch without involving any copyrighted human figures or existing images. Beyond this, no other content in the game was created by AI (DeepSeek).
During the development process, we use AI-based tools to assist in content creation. Mainly in terms of character audio, we use text-to-speech tools to generate dialogue audio for each character in the game.
Only the Steam key art (logo images) uses AI.
The faces of the characters are generated with the help of AI.
Artificial Intelligence partly helps us write game code and generate some images for the game.
