Public Steam disclosure research 25,380 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Throughout the development of my game, I have (ironically) leveraged AI-based tools to assist myself with the code and made visual placeholders. The game was translated by AI. Many parts of the code were written by an AI and some problems were debugged with it's help. Thank You for your understanding :D
We use AI tools as a support system for our small development team to enhance the quality and balance of the game. Specifically: Balancing & Math: We use AI to help calculate and balance the game ecosystem (drop rates, damage scaling, and economy). Concepting: AI is used to generate reference images and mood boards to inspire our artists. The final in-game visual assets are hand-crafted or manually refined based on these concepts. Drafting: AI assists in drafting initial marketing copy and lore structures, which are then finalized by our writers.
AI generation is used as a supporting tool for certain 3D assets and game code. AI-generated content is subsequently thoroughly refined by hand before being included in the game.
Some assets are AI generated and subsequently polished manually.
AI was only used to assist in coding. Every idea and implementation is made by me. Currently, all store assets are AI generated images, but are subject and likely to change.
Using Claude code for translation
1. Asset Creation: Generative AI was used to create base images for some backgrounds and non-character card illustrations (such as items or objects). All these assets have been manually edited and processed by the developer to fit the game's art style and ensure they are used appropriately. 2. Translation: AI is used, as the translation is primarily based on machine translation. 3. Real-time Generation: The game features an optional AI text generation system for exploration flavor text. This function is only activated if the player provides their own API endpoint. The generated text is based on in-game variables (player skills, partners, and floor names) and does not affect the core story or progression. It is a purely cosmetic addition for enhanced immersion.
AI tools are used only for text-related assistance such as writing support, proofreading, translation, and information research during development. No AI-generated images, audio, 3D models, or other creative assets are included in the game. All in

AI is partially used for translations.
Generative AI was used for the production of SOME art assets. Some are completely handmade, Some are almost entirely AI with additional human editing. This normally varies by game where one will have lots of AI and one will be completely handmade. Art assets refer to images and music. No AI ever runs during runtime.
AI technology was utilized to create initial art assets, including some icons. The final output was manually refined by artists.
AI was used to enhance some of the images and texts in the game.
AI was used to generate some of the images
Ai was used in the marketing material production and some in game art.
I used it to create the base of the character's asset and animation images, which were then processed or manually edited after creation.
The background music uses tracks from SunoAI (commercially licensed).
During the development of this game, AI tools were utilized. Some of the art assets were generated by AI and then further refined and rendered by our artists.
Some of the art and music were generated by AI and then manually revised before being used.
AI tools were utilized to generate art assets on the store page and in-game.
This is my first game, and I used AI as a learning assistant throughout development — from understanding basic programming concepts to improving my workflow. Some visual assets were initially generated with AI and then refined by hand. I also used AI to brainstorm ideas and help navigate the process of bringing this game to Steam. All in-game content is fully controlled, reviewed, and finalized by me.
This game makes significant use of pre-generated AI content. Usage Details: Almost all visual 2D assets, specifically character sprites, enemy graphics, many environmental elements, and the title art, were created using generative AI software. The AI served as the primary tool for generating the foundational artwork. Post-Processing: The generated images were curated and selected, then brought into a consistent format, scaled to the correct size for the game, and assembled into the final sprite sheets. We confirm that all content used is free of illegal or copyright-infringing material.
AI generates a few images and icons, reviewed manually.

Created some minor 3d assets with AI, and the game logo.
Generative AI was used to create the background images for the store page and the game's start screen. All other assets, including characters and source code, were developed without the use of generative AI.
AI technology was utilized to create initial art assets, including some icons. The final output was manually refined by artists.
The four assets in this work—one UI component and three landscape paintings used as wall decorations (frames not included)—were produced using additional AI for refinement. None of them were created by AI from the ground up. AI helped with grammatical corrections for in-game text, which were then carefully reviewed and adjusted by hand. We only consider AI to be a supportive tool. Every detail is meticulously crafted with human intent, as our creative process is still firmly anchored in manual craftsmanship.

We use AI-generated images for our card characters.
Some aspects of Steam store page artwork was made using help from AI.
The AI listens to your reflections and self-description, crafting motivational prompts that evolve with you—helping you rise above the noise of social media and the distractions of modern life to refocus on what truly matters. Over time, this process nurtures discipline and strengthens your willpower, helping you to achieve your goals. You have full control over where the model runs—choose between secure cloud processing or complete on-device privacy.

Game menu image, game logo and game library assets made with ai software
This game uses AI-generated images both in-game and on Steam.
Used only for store page assets
Our game leverages the power of AI in two key areas: Visual Content: Some in-game graphics and visual assets were created using AI tools, enhancing the artistic quality and ensuring a unique experience for players. Promotional Materials: The images and descriptions you see on this store page were generated with the help of AI, designed to provide clear and engaging information about the game. This ensures a creative and dynamic approach to both the game’s design and its presentation to the community.
We only used AI-generated content for Steam capsule images.
The promotional images for the store page were partially created using generative AI
I use it to review my code for efficiency and to spark inspiration for some art. It also helps with generating secondary or background art elements, but the core creative work and vision are all mine!
AI used for: cover art elements.
Some UI assets,BGM and SFX are created by AI
Store description and promotional graphics generated using AI tools.
AI was used to generate pre-rendered content.
We use — and plan to continue using — neural networks to generate various types of content. This is done primarily to optimize routine tasks, as well as time and financial costs. The content is generated using neural networks that have been additionally trained by our team. All AI-generated content undergoes extensive refinement and manual adjustment by our developers.
Generative AI helped me make this project from start to finish. It helped me write code, organize my work, stay focused, and build the art, sound, and design. Grammarly helped me polish my writing. Claude Code helped me repair code. ChatGPT helped me plan and think through systems and color. The Unity engine brought it all together. There is AI in this project, just as there is in almost every tool we all use today.
