Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
As NPCs encounter events during the game, it is used to generate their speech.
AI was used to create some of the artwork, sprites and music.
Images on the store page include those created using AI-generated elements. Over half of the 3D objects in the game were generated with the help of AI. When creating in-game music, AI was used as a tool to assist in searching for sample audio sources. The in-game text was also created with AI assistance.
Generative AI was used to touch up and upconvert original artwork in the making of the Radventure Demo. It is our intent to fundraise to hire more artists to replace the use of AI in the future. Additionally, AI was used in the creation of some sound effects for the demo.
We use AI to generate two images, which are: the "Black Eye" image and the "Judge with Protect Democracy text" image. And their use is merely illustrative for the respective topics covered in the game description. We do not use AI to generate content for the game.
Generative AI used as an inspiration, design and was manually edited.
We use AI mostly for images (Dall-E), music (Suno), and SFX (elevenlabs), but we edit everything and use it as a budget-friendly option. We plan to replace it if the game goes well.
Spud Customs is made by Lost Rabbit Digital: two siblings who handle all the coding, music, writing, and playtesting ourselves, with help from one additional artist, and one musician. We're a tiny team with no outside funding. To keep up, we sometimes use AI tools to brainstorm or generate rough drafts. But nothing ships without our hands on it. Every line of code, every sprite, every track is reviewed, rewritten, and refined by us.
Some parts of the game's cover art and music theme were created within software using a genAI pipepline.
This game uses AI-accelerated features to enhance gameplay and content creation.

The store page of this game and some game materials have been polished by the open-source AI (stable diffusion), and further processed and optimized by the developers. All drafts are photos taken by the developers themselves and line drawings drawn by themselves. We promise that all AI-generated content complies with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.

AI-generated art for its visual elements.
The game includes an unholy amount of AI-generated content, including: - Textures - Images - Music - Audio effects - Voice lines - Facial and body animations - Code Game allows player to use voice as a main input tool. To achieve great quality of speech to text, a base version of openai's whisper model is used. The content seen in the game is not live-generated. The player's input is embedded into a vector through a small model with 278M parameters. Model: paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2 (Used primarily for wide support of languages) Then, the game uses Faiss to match the player's input to known, predefined inputs. Each of those describes a reaction and change in the state of the game. Icon was made with local diffusion model.

Some 2d content, some texts and simple sounds was made with AI help, but then than was careful polishing. Thanks all, that you can help to make all it real!
AI was used experimentally to generate reference images that were used in the creation of a various art assets in the game. These AI images do not appear in game and were only used indirectly in the exact same way one might use a photo reference.
There are a handful of times we've used AI to create details in the background of some of our scenes, but this content is rare and often temporary. We also have an instance of AI generated music - we've got a silly ambient track that plays in the game's end-game-failure-state scene.
Morvyn Gutter utilizes AI technology for texture generation and music composition in certain parts of the game.
AI used in creating the character and background illustrations for the game.
The character illustrations, and other UI materials displayed in the game are generated in advance by AI and are used in the game after being manually edited.
MI:ND is a game that could not exist before AI. In every interaction you can say or do whatever you want, and the game will respond with a completely unique interaction and dialogue directly to you.
AI was used during development to do spelling correction, translation and to generate some elements of scenery.
AI tools were used to generate select artwork, including concept images, a few decorative assets, and a few censored fictional photographs as some Voicelines and Screams. Some of these depict intentionally exaggerated or eccentric characters that would have been impractical—or impossible—to stage with real models. All AI-generated assets were manually reviewed and edited before inclusion. No AI content is generated dynamically during gameplay.
We used AI for a few textures and voice acting, but we’re planning to replace them if the game does well after the full release
Basically, all hand-drawn graphics are used, but AI is used to depict some natural backgrounds such as plants and rocks.
AI was used to handle translation of all text in game, on the Steam page and in announcements.
Some of the background graphics that appear in the game use or modify copyrighted AI-generated graphics
Angry Chef: World Tour uses AI only for character voice recordings.
The game uses artificial intelligence (AI) as assistance for language translations and the creation of some secondary character avatars. All main story content, dialogue, and core design elements were handcrafted by our team.

This game utilizes generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance the gaming experience. Specific applications are as follows: 1. Some cutscenes and CG animations are generated with AI assistance. 2. Enemy dialogue interactions and combat behaviors are intelligently driven by a Large Language Model (LLM) deployed in the cloud. 3. Some in-game quests and dynamic event chains are generated in real-time by AI to provide players with a varied and unique gameplay experience.
