Public Steam disclosure research25,380 disclosures tracked
Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Everything in the game (every line of code, every 2d, 3d, and audio asset) is written/made by either Kiyasui-Hito (the solo indie developer of this game) or a third-party entity as credited in the game's credits screen, without any assistance/use of AI.
Text translations (in-game menus, store page descriptions) were done using AI.
The temporary capsule image art on the store page is also AI generated.
AI is used in this way because I have a low budget and my friend who is an artist is quite busy these days.
This game contains Audio and / or Artwork customized with the help of AI tools by our artists, derived from artwork we own commercial rights to use, or artwork done by our own studio.
We pay our artists, and we DO NOT use stolen Artwork.
The character voice used in the demo was generated by artificial intelligence for testing. It will be replaced with real voice acting in the full version.
This game uses generative AI tools in the creation of certain assets:
Some character and environment art assets were generated using developer-trained AI models;
Some ambient background music (non-vocal) was generated using commercially available AI models with proper commercial licenses;
In addition, the Steam store capsule image was also generated with the help of AI tools.
All AI-generated content is static, manually reviewed and edited by the developer prior to release, and does not involve any post-release dynamic generation.
I use the service to generate artificial intelligence voices for characters. The voice generation process does not occur in real-time, but rather beforehand, allowing me to test and evaluate the content before using it in the game. Additionally, I implement appropriate preventive measures to ensure that the generated content is suitable and compliant with legal requirements and Steam standards.
Part of the art resources in this game are generated through AI technology and undergo manual secondary processing To avoid potential infringement risks
AI used to generate parts of graphical assets for the store page, marketing materials and community assets.
In game, AI was used by a designer to help generate two skybox backgrounds only.

Infernity: The Devil's Arena utilizes artificial intelligence solely for the creation of the game's music. These AI-generated tracks are designed to enhance the dark and gothic atmosphere of the game. All other content is crafted using pre-made assets and manual design processes.
Due to the limitation of development funds, the game's equipment icons, item icons, objects on the scene, and animation sequence frames of characters are generated with AI-assisted generation. This game only uses pre-rendered art assets, not real-time generation AI. If the financial conditions permit, we will gradually replace these art assets.
"This game uses AI-generated assets, such as images, that were pre-generated before development. The game does not feature live AI content generation."
Procedural post processing and content aware tools in Affinity photo were used to clean up capsule art, assets were sourced from in engine screenshots and painted over and then composited.
Some promotional materials, including the trailer banner and capsule image, were created using generative AI tools. All in-game content—such as visuals, audio, and gameplay assets—are entirely handcrafted or sourced without AI generation.
I use AI-generated images for the artwork on the store page and in-game. I am not an artist, unfortunately, and the cost of paying an artist for these things is very high.
Images on the store page include those created using AI-generated elements. Over half of the 3D objects in the game were generated with the help of AI. When creating in-game music, AI was used as a tool to assist in searching for sample audio sources. The in-game text was also created with AI assistance.
The use of artificial intelligence was only applied to audio, for example music.
It does not affect gameplay and has not been used for other related purposes such as programming, modeling, or other things.
Even though it is used for music, few were generated by artificial intelligence.
We use AI mostly for images (Dall-E), music (Suno), and SFX (elevenlabs), but we edit everything and use it as a budget-friendly option. We plan to replace it if the game goes well.
Due to my limited artistic ability, I have made use of a generative artificial intelligence —diffusion model, on the store page to assist in the display of promotional and sales images. But please rest assured that the game screenshots are all taken from real playing process. Finally, I hope you enjoy my independent game!
In AbstractPunk, AI was used for speech synthesis, referencing the earlier Evil Indie Games title, NO THING. AI is used in AbstractPunk to generate character speech and sounds. The collage-style graphics in the game feature AI-generated elements as well as numerous distortions caused by AI.
During the development of our game, certain visual, video, and audio assets were created using AI-assisted tools. These technologies supported our creative process—especially in concept design, environmental elements, sound effects, and cinematic transitions.
All content has been carefully refined and integrated to ensure it aligns with the overall atmosphere and quality of the game. We use AI technologies with ethical responsibility, always prioritizing originality and excellence.
