Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Some graphic content on the store page was generated with Artificial Intelligence. In the game, some graphic images, the paintings hanging around the house, and the voice acting are created with Artificial Intelligence.
AI was used in a very limited capacity, only for generating some voice lines, a small number of texture variations, and a few Steam store page images. All gameplay, code, environments, characters, animations, and overall game design were handcrafted manually by the developers.
Due to cost constraints, some of the in-game art resources (some item icons) in this project are generated using AI, while the video part is entirely shot on real machines with a small amount of post-production special effects. The content generated by AI accounts for less than 1% of the total material.
The following content used in this game has been pre-rendered using generative AI:
3D Characters (Rodin, Meshy)
BGM (Suno.AI)
Title Image (DALL-E)
Steam Community Assets (Cropped version of the title image)
※ All assets were generated using paid plans with consideration for copyright.
This game uses generated AI for the following purposes
- To generate some of the game's program code
- To format text in the store to make it easier to read
- To translate text into languages other than Japanese
- However, the text rarely appears in the game
- No content or code is generated live during gameplay
In this game, AI is only used to generate images for loading screens and backgrounds, ensuring originality and full copyright compliance. All images are created from legally sourced datasets or generated uniquely, enhancing visuals without infringing on any copyrighted material.
AI-generated content disclosure The developer's description of how their game uses AI-generated content is as follows: Due to cost constraints, avoidance of sensitive information, etc., we used AI-assisted generation of pre-rendered footage in a very small number of videos: news images, sea freighters, live footage, and cinematics. The content with AI-generated appearances does not exceed 1% of the total amount of material (about 3-4 minutes), so please bear with us!
TimeParadox uses generative AI to create unique images for different cards in the game. The AI generates new visual content for cards, enhancing the game's aesthetic and diversity.
I use the service to generate artificial intelligence voices for characters. The voice generation process does not occur in real-time, but rather beforehand, allowing me to test and evaluate the content before using it in the game. Additionally, I implement appropriate preventive measures to ensure that the generated content is suitable and compliant with legal requirements and Steam standards.
AI used to generate parts of graphical assets for the store page, marketing materials and community assets.
In game, AI was used by a designer to help generate two skybox backgrounds only.

We used AI technology to generate some images and videos. The images include promotional graphics, game icons, some in-game ending interfaces, and mini-game UI screens. The videos consist of AI-generated segments depicting Fang Xiaoyu at different life stages interacting with Fang Zhilian, scenes showing the post-time-travel daily lives of protagonists from "Game Of Fate" 1-3 series (such as riding mammoths during the Ice Age or landing on another planet in spacesuits), as well as a display case presenting successful case studies of a human cloning program initiated by Chronos Corporation in a parallel timeline. Since these visual scenarios could not be feasibly captured through live-action filming, AI technology was utilized for their production.
In the game, the background image of the main interface and the static materials included in the plot animations are presented in a form that combines the original AI - generated images with subsequent modifications.
"This game uses AI-generated assets, such as images, that were pre-generated before development. The game does not feature live AI content generation."
This game utilized AI tools during development to create pre-rendered content, including some music, sound effects, and 3D models. These AI-assisted assets were carefully curated and refined by the developer to ensure they meet the highest standards and fit seamlessly into the game's experience. No live AI generation occurs during gameplay, and all content is pre-rendered and finalized before being included in the game.
Some promotional materials, including the trailer banner and capsule image, were created using generative AI tools. All in-game content—such as visuals, audio, and gameplay assets—are entirely handcrafted or sourced without AI generation.
The Time Within Us relies on historical accuracy and authentic references as its foundation.
Every house, object, and tradition presented in the project is reconstructed using real-world sources such as preserved buildings,
museum archives, photographs, and specialized books.
AI is used only as a supportive tool to enhance development efficiency and creativity:
-Visual exploration: generating alternative design ideas and concepts, mood boards.
-Polishing elements: toning up textures, graphic elements, or background details for presentation.
-Structuring content: organizing large amounts of historical and cultural information into clear narratives and categories.
