Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
In Ink: Tournament Paintball, artificial intelligence is used solely to generate user profile images and some commercial images, focusing on enhancing the visual experience without affecting gameplay.
We used generative AI to create a small number of background textures, such as book covers, graffiti, and framed wall art. All core visuals and gameplay elements were created by our team.
Artificial intelligence is used solely for minor content improvements and to speed up certain tasks in the development process. It is not used in any way to create original content.
My game uses AI quite frequently. Every logo you see is a product of the collaboration between a human and an AI. Every song you hear is a product of human-AI collaboration. Every player report card uses AI generated text modularly pieced together from smaller chunks.
The match commentator is using an AI generated voice.
This is a modern game that uses modern technology to its full potential.
Generative AI is used only during development for minor, replaceable elements like textures or icons. All core assets are created entirely by Wargaming’s artists and developers.
Translation into some languages (in the game and on the store page) and some of the store page assets were made with the assistance of AI. Some elements inside the game like shirts, items, textures, sounds, models and others may be generated with the assistance of AI.

AI use is quite limited to speech-to-speech models, allowing us to voice act many characters.
Fortunately, this voice is highly realistic since we actually do the acting ourselves, and use the AI to enhance it.
Additionally, AI is sparingly used for some images, and then manually cleaned up and modified by a professional artist.
I use PhotoShop's generative AI, Replica Studios for some voice acting, and ChatGPT for some quest dialogue. I also use Mid Journey to generate graphics. Most AI generated content is temporary and will be replaced when/if the game ever makes enough money to hire people to replace them.
