Some promotional and store assets for My Scout Life including Steam capsule and library images were created or refined using generative AI tools, combined with manual editing and layout. A portion of in-game imagery was also produced or assisted with generative AI, then reviewed and integrated into the game. No generative AI is used for real-time gameplay logic, match simulation, or core scouting/academy systems; it applies to visual assets and marketing art as described above. We will keep this statement updated if our use of AI-assisted content changes.
As a solo developer with a limited budget, I am currently using Generative AI text-to-speech tools to create the voice-overs, 911 calls, and radio communications in the game. A dispatch simulator requires a massive amount of audio, and using AI allows me to populate the game with necessary placeholder dialogue during active development. My ultimate goal, as the game grows and funding allows, is to replace these AI placeholders with real human voice actors in future updates.
Generative AI was only used for some in-game decorative wall paintings and to assist with the store page text/translations. All core gameplay, main art, animations, and coding are human created.
Developer's Note: This is a solo-developed indie game, and the developer is not a professional artist. Therefore, generative AI was used during the production of art assets.
I utilized generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools during the development of this game. The specific applications are as follows: Art & Visual Assets: Generative AI was used to create a portion of the in-game images, textures, and visual concept art. All such assets were subsequently refined and optimized manually. Music & Sound Effects: Certain background music and audio assets were generated using AI tools to enhance the overall auditory experience. Programming & Development: AI-generated code snippets were integrated into the development process, and AI tools were utilized to assist in code optimization and troubleshooting of game logic.
To further enrich the unique world and atmosphere of this game, we utilized AI technology to assist in creating the background artwork and soundtrack. AI was primarily used as a sketching tool to draft initial ideas. All final assets implemented in the game underwent detailed retouching and careful direction by the developer, meticulously polished to seamlessly blend into the game's distinct vibe.
As a solo developer, I’ve used AI-assisted tools to create some of the game’s assets. My goal is to replace these with fully hand-drawn artwork created by a professional artist.
The store's promotional page uses images generated by Tencent Yuanbao as material.
Generative AI tools were used to refine store descriptions and assist with the translation of certain UI elements to provide a better experience for international players. All visual assets and core gameplay mechanics are original creations.
This game features unlockable media such as images and videos of aliens and UFO sightings that are created using generative AI technology.
This game includes some pre-generated visual assets created or assisted with generative AI (including certain promotional images on the Steam store page and library). AI Content Disclosure (Or: Why Your Eyes Aren't Bleeding) Steam requires me to formally disclose that I used AI tools to help create the visual assets for this game, and honestly, you should be thanking them for it. My personal artistic abilities peak at drawing lopsided stick figures, and if I had to hand-draw the assets myself, this wouldn't be a co-op horror game—it would be a tragedy. To spare you from my awful programmer art, I used Meshy AI to generate the 3D models and Nano Banana Pro to handle the textures. The gameplay, the panic-inducing 90-second timers, and the terrifying undead Grandma mechanics are all me. The art, however, was assisted by AI as a public service to protect your eyeballs.

GameTasker was built by a solo developer with no prior coding experience. The overwhelming majority of the code, design, and Steam assets were created with the help of AI. I'm being upfront about this because I think it's worth knowing, and because I'm proud of it rather than embarrassed. The idea, the design decisions, the testing, and the judgment calls were all mine — AI was the pair programmer that made it real. If you run into bugs or have feature requests, come find me on Discord.

ChatGPT was also used to generate some placeholder images and audio assets during early development. Some 3D models and textures were created using AI-assisted tools such as Tripo3D.ai. These assets may be refined, replaced, or improved over time as the project evolves and budget allows. All gameplay systems, mechanics, design decisions, Blueprint scripting, and overall game implementation were created and assembled by the developer. No AI system autonomously generated gameplay code or core systems. Additional assets were purchased through the Unreal Engine Fab Marketplace where noted. AI tools were used strictly as production assistants to support solo development.

Burner Empire uses generative AI in the following ways: During Development Some visual assets in the game were created with the assistance of AI image generation tools. These assets were reviewed, curated, and integrated by the development team as part of the game's overall visual design. In Gameplay Burner Empire features an AI-driven bot fleet that populates the game world with computer-controlled players. These bots use a combination of scripted decision logic and AI-driven behavior modeling to simulate realistic player activity — cooking drugs, deploying dealers, traveling between districts, and engaging in PvP. The bot fleet exists to ensure the game world feels active and competitive regardless of the current number of human players online. The bot fleet is not generative AI in the traditional sense — it does not produce text, images, or creative content.
