Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Generative AI was used for the background of the store page capsule art.
I will not directly provide any AI services, but plan to only retain the interface for external AI to take over the game logic in the game. Users can use their own trained language models, and they can only solve problems such as computing power by themselves. I plan to not allow users to enter text in the game, so that users have no chance of inducing language model generation. However, some overfitting language models will ignore the prompts and output nfsw. At the same time, I used two methods: 1. Limit the output length and suppress it from the root. 2. Keyword check to see if nfsw content exists. If someone tries to report it, he should report it to the person who gave him the language model. If the user enables AI, I will change the name of the enabled AI service into a game watermark to prove that it is the user's own problem.
Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum makes use of a custom built variational autoencoder to assist in the creation of character sprites, trained exclusively on the sprites I've already created. A separate generative adversarial network is used to make images that serve as the basis for some facial sprites, and background art.
My game uses AI quite frequently. Every logo you see is a product of the collaboration between a human and an AI. Every song you hear is a product of human-AI collaboration. Every player report card uses AI generated text modularly pieced together from smaller chunks. The match commentator is using an AI generated voice. This is a modern game that uses modern technology to its full potential.
Some visual and written elements—such as portraits, item icons, and quest text—were created or enhanced with the help of AI tools. These were based on original hand-drawn assets and carefully refined to match the game's overall style. The majority of in-game visuals remain fully handcrafted.
AI-assisted tools may also be used during development for temporary voice-over drafts, sound exploration, and visual concept iteration, strictly as part of the production workflow. Final voice acting, sound effects, music selection, visual assets, and UI elements are curated, edited, or replaced by the developer before release to meet quality, consistency, and licensing standards. No AI systems generate live audio, voices, images, or visual content during gameplay. All final in-game audiovisual content is authored, validated, and intentionally integrated into the game experience.
Generative AI is used for the English audio narration, loading screens and a small percentage of skill icons.
Quick note: The capsule art is AI-generated as a temporary placeholder, but I’m already working with an artist to replace and upgrade it with final artwork.
Some graphics, music, and translations were created with the help of AI and refined manually.

Some Picture that's all
No generative AI is used to write content or produce any kind of imagery or assets for the game. For localization, we hire professional translators with AI tools to reduce the workload. Final translations include both machine-translated text that's been human-reviewed and directly human-translated text (e.g. "The megacorps created Cyber Knights as the first quantum-secure data couriers").
