Public Steam disclosure research 25,380 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI-generated posters and songs
Voice Acting is AI generated, since I am solo developing the game for free and so far i do not have the chance to change this.
AI-powered NPCs allow for immersive, real-time voice interactions. Speak directly to the grandparents using your microphone, and they’ll respond with natural, dynamic dialogue. Their advanced AI adapts to your choices, creating a unique experience where every conversation shapes the unfolding mystery. As you explore their remote house, the NPCs will react to your actions, listen to your questions, and even talk to each other, making each encounter unpredictable and intense.
Use AI for store graphic ressource.
We are a small independent studio, and to optimize our time and focus on the core of the game, we used Artificial Intelligence only to create a few minor graphical elements. Everything else — from gameplay to art direction to writing — is the result of our work, our passion, and countless hours of development. Thank you for your support!

Some static imagery (e.g., menu backgrounds), voices, and sound effects have been AI generated.
Images were created with an AI and then edited by me to speed up the development process. These AI generated images are included in the game (user interface, beginning and end plot). On the shop page, the cover photo was also generated with AI and then edited by me. As a solo developer, I had no other choice and I ask for your understanding.
Imagery.
AI was used for some icons, all music and the loading screen. These are just placeholders until I either learn to create content that can replace or gain enough funding to hire someone to.

I am a solo developer, so I used AI to generate character dialogue voices.
Non-screenshot marketing imagery generated by AI.
Some promotional artwork and visuals in Zombie Pandemia 2D were crafted using AI-assisted tools. These include images of real-life styled characters and zombies designed to enhance the immersive storytelling and atmosphere. All in-game content, such as characters, environments, and gameplay elements, has been manually created to deliver an authentic experience tailored for our players. The use of AI tools was focused solely on marketing assets to bring you a glimpse of the post-apocalyptic world of Zombie Pandemia 2D.
AI was used in the artwork process.
We use AI to generate two images, which are: the "Black Eye" image and the "Judge with Protect Democracy text" image. And their use is merely illustrative for the respective topics covered in the game description. We do not use AI to generate content for the game.
We used AI images in the game, but as soon as we can afford artists, we will change them.
The use of artificial intelligence was only applied to audio, for example music. It does not affect gameplay and has not been used for other related purposes such as programming, modeling, or other things. Even though it is used for music, few were generated by artificial intelligence.
Generative AI creates a logo and banner for the game's Steam page and music.
We have used AI to generate some UI in games.
Ai was used for some artwork in the game.
Some of the notes were generated using AI.
Music and script grammatical errors.
The voice acting for the game uses pre-generated voice lines
AI like ChatGPT is used to check edit dialog and UI texts because English is my second language. Let me know if I made mistakes anyway.
HUMAN FREELANCE ARTISTS designed the locations and the characters' original looks. Proofs https://five-mysterious-murders.com/artwork/2.jpg https://five-mysterious-murders.com/artwork/1.jpg However, I enriched some artwork using AI to make the game look more diverse. Voice acting was done entirely by AI. I will replace everything made by AI as soon as I have a bit of money. If this doesn't work for you, please don't buy the game. Yours, Silencer
