This game uses pre-generated AI content. Some character art, key art, and Steam store graphics were created with generative AI image tools and then selected, cropped, and composited by the developer. English and Simplified Chinese text (in-game localization and store copy) was drafted with generative AI and then reviewed and edited. The game does not use live AI generation during gameplay.
AI was used during development to help with visual and sound effects.
It has been used in the store page images and achievement images.

American Gold Rush uses limited AI-generated art in a small number of places, all of it pre-generated during development. No AI is used while you play, and nothing about the game changes at runtime. AI-generated: the title artwork, some background pieces like the sky. Not AI-generated: all pixel art, all sound effects, all music, all game code and all writing. These are human-made, by named people paid for the work.
Root Cause is utilizes AI assets in the game. This content, when utilized, is generated during development, then curated, edited, and committed to the project before release. Nothing is generated while the game is running. Items that may be generated: Illustrated art. UI/Interfaces Icon Sets Sounds and Music Dialogue, case briefings, case content, and interface copy
The visual art in Gearbound is made with PixelLab, an AI pixel-art tool. Every sprite, animation, tileset, background, prop, interface element and piece of marketing art was generated with PixelLab and then directed, edited and assembled by us. The music and sound effects are rendered by synthesis scripts that were written with AI assistance. No generative audio model was used, and nothing was sourced from a music-generation service. Nothing is generated by AI while you play. Every asset is finished and baked into the build before it ships, and the game makes no AI calls at runtime.
Generative AI was used to create in-game CCTV camera footage images and English voiceovers. All AI-generated assets have been reviewed and edited to fit the game's atmosphere and quality standards.
Some texts were translated using artificial intelligence.
Generative AI was used during development as a coding assistant and to assist with drafting and translating store-page and marketing text. Some pixel-art assets were rendered by deterministic drawing code written with AI assistance; the final images were not directly output by a text-to-image or diffusion model. All shipped and published content was reviewed and edited by the developer. No generative AI runs in the game, and no content is generated from player input.
Generative AI tools were used to assist in the creation of some artwork, store page graphics, 3D assets, and audio content. No generative AI is used to generate content live during gameplay.
AI tools were used for some initial concept designs. All final in-game assets, characters and scenes have been extensively hand-edited, redrawn and post-processed by the developer to achieve a consistent hand-drawn comic style.
Localization, some descriptions
The narrative and interface text in this game - dialogue, tutorial guidance, in-game descriptions, and localization into all supported languages (Russian, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese) - was generated with the assistance of generative AI (a large language model), based on the developer's original game concept, design, and creative direction. No other content in this game - art, music, sound, or gameplay - is AI-generated.
AI was used to create graphical assets used in the game.
Some of the art in this game was made with the help of generative AI. The voxel character portraits were generated from written prompts using an AI image generator, then cut out, colour-corrected, posed and animated by hand by the developer. The store page capsules and the achievement icons are composed from that same character art. Parts of the store page text, and the game's translations into its eight supported languages, were produced with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. No generative AI runs while you play — nothing is generated in real time. The patrons' behaviour is ordinary game AI: hand-written rules and probability tables. The music and every sound effect are not AI-generated; they are synthesised procedurally.
Some parts of the Cellarer were made with the help of generative AI tools: portions of the source code, some of the in-game icons and sfx / vfx, some store and marketing text, and some marketing artwork and assets were AI-assisted, then reviewed, edited and integrated by hand before shipping. The game itself contains nothing live-generated — no AI runs while you play, and the game never connects to an AI service.
AI has been used to localize page descriptions into some languages. Generative translation will eventually be replaced by human translation.
Final decisions made by human hands and brains. Project is AI tools friendly
Some of the game's art, including character illustrations and environments, was created using AI.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create or assist with portions of the game's pre-generated visual artwork, including horse illustrations, environmental backgrounds, contract and item icons, decorative UI artwork, the game logo, and Steam store and library artwork. AI-assisted tools were also used to draft or refine portions of in-game text and localization. All such materials were generated before release, then reviewed, selected, and edited by the developer, and are included in the game as fixed assets. No AI content is generated during gameplay, and the game does not connect to any external AI service.
The developer used AI assistance while drafting marketing copy for this game. All copy was directed, revised, and finalized by the developer. All in-game art, audio, and design are human-made.
Using AI to Generate Some Materials
This game uses AI-assisted tools operated by real individuals.
Wildreach is made by a solo developer working alongside AI tools. AI assisted in authoring game logic (Blueprint scripting) and some store/marketing text during development. All 3D art, animation, and audio are licensed asset-pack content made by human artists. No AI content is generated at runtime.
Generative AI tools were used only as an editing and proofreading aid for selected portions of the final game text. The original scenario, characters, direction, and final text review were created and handled by the developer.
The English localization of Channel 453 was produced through a combination of human translation and editing. Some sections of the game, including portions of the demo, were translated by a human translator. For a limited number of sections in the full game, generative AI tools were used only as a first-pass aid for English localization and language editing. These tools were not used to create the original scenario or characters. All AI-assisted English text was subsequently reviewed, revised, and polished by humans before being included in the final game. We are providing this information on Steam in the interest of transparency and to help players make an informed decision about the game. To avoid any misunderstanding: this refers to a test-stage build. The final release will be provided with fully human-translated localization alongside the finalized store page update.
Generative AI was used during development to assist with selected pre-generated marketing and Steam store artwork, concept and reference images, product packaging artwork and textures, and localization. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited and curated by the developer before being included. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with portions of code writing and debugging, text drafting and editing, English localization, and the creation of some music assets. All related content was manually reviewed, revised, curated, and approved by the developer. The game does not generate any AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services.
AI was used to generate some temporary artwork for the store page and in-game placeholder character sprites, as well as to assist with translation during localization. Temporary AI-generated assets will be replaced with final artwork during development. All content is reviewed by the development team.
Generative artificial intelligence is used to speed up work with texts, sounds, and images.
Avatars have been made with the help of the AI tool but we going to replace it on real art before release.
AI was used for creating some parts of the game's art, which was later retouched by our team of artists.
Some images in the current version were created with the assistance of generative AI. These assets are planned to be replaced with original artwork during development.
Some marketing materials on our store page were created using artificial intelligence.
Generative artificial intelligence is used to speed up work with texts, sounds, and images.
This game uses generative AI to assist in producing some in-game text (such as news articles, in-game emails, and flavor text), 2D visual assets (such as player portraits, icons, and background art), and audio (background music and user interface sound effects). All AI-assisted content is generated during development and reviewed before release; the game does not generate content while you play.
Selected pre-generated visual materials used for the Steam store page, capsule artwork, promotional assets, and presentation screenshots were created or refined with the assistance of generative AI tools. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay. No gameplay content, dialogue, images, audio, or missions are generated in real time by AI, and the game does not connect to external AI services during play.
Some artwork (ship, station and environment sprites, icons) and sound effects were created using generative AI tools during development, then curated and hand-edited by the developer. All AI-generated content was reviewed before inclusion.
Images are created with AI
Yes — pre-rendered only (no real-time generative AI during gameplay). Generative AI tools were used to create or refine some visual assets (UI, images, marketing / store materials) and parts of text / localization. Gameplay, code and game design are made and reviewed by the studio. No AI content is generated live during play.
This game uses AI-generated content in terms of art assets and game code.
I’m a normal guy, and making a game has been a dream of mine. I used generative AI as part of my development process, including helping with code and creating visual assets. Every asset included in the final game was personally selected, refined, placed, and directed by me to match the game’s overall vision.
I'm not a professional game developer or artist. Making my own game had been a dream for years, but I never knew how to turn that dream into reality. Generative AI became the tool that finally made it possible. With its help, I created many of the game's visual and audio assets, including item, UI, skill, and module icons, character portraits, ships, space stations, backgrounds, the game icon, the Steam store artwork, and some of the sound effects. It also assisted me with programming. But Star Corsairs is not a game that AI simply generated. Every asset was reviewed, rejected, refined, or replaced until it matched the vision I had in mind. Every gameplay system was designed, tested, and reworked repeatedly until it felt right. The economy, ship balance, pirate AI, combat, and progression were all shaped through countless hours of playtesting and manual iteration. The story, world, and all of the writing were created by me. Without generative AI, this game would probably never have existed. But without the countless creative decisions, revisions, and work behind every part of it, Star Corsairs wouldn't exist either.
Generative AI was used exclusively as a programming assistant during development to help write and optimize the game's code. All creative elements, including the story, game design, and artwork, were entirely crafted by human hand.

The Previous Owner uses generative AI as an assistive tool under human art direction and editorial control. The game's painted artwork — scene plates, room and prop textures, character and portrait art, the found photographs, the book spreads and the store art — was pre-generated with generative image tools, then curated, keyed, composited and hand-corrected by the developer; a small number of props are AI-generated 3D meshes, and some looping scene animations are AI-generated video. Music and sound effects are pre-generated with AI tools and edited by the developer. The narrative text is human–AI co-written under the author's direction and human-edited; the story, its structure and the game design are the author's. Everything ships pre-rendered in the build — the game generates nothing live during play. No real people are depicted; every character, book, photograph and document in the game is fictional.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with portions of the game's pre-generated 2D artwork, marketing artwork, localization drafts, and development code. All player-facing AI-assisted content was generated before release, selected, reviewed, edited where needed, tested, and integrated by the developer. The game does not generate or modify content with AI during gameplay and does not send player input to an external AI service.
Generative AI was used during development to assist in the creation of certain pre-generated game content, including some in-game visual art assets, the game’s title logo, and promotional materials for the Steam store page. All final content was reviewed, curated, edited, and implemented by the developer. No generative AI is used at runtime, and the game does not generate live AI content for players.
