Public Steam disclosure research 25,383 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

The game's menu screen is AI-Generated, because unfortunately I am not a digital artist. Also, the posters/images used for the game's Steam page are just the same image that is in the Main Menu. And Jesus Christ's mogging images, because they never took any pictures of Jesus mogging anybody :(
As a small indie team, we may use procedural and/or AI-based tools to assist with the development process. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
In our database we have AI-generated images that the entity can select to show you.
just used the AI voice for 3 minute in intro video of the game
Photoshop generative fill for some store page elements, mostly used for recovering/filling in gaps, and some backgrounds
I use generative AI solutions for 3D models, marketing collateral, and project management. There are moderate edits made to the 3D models, texts, or images in order to make them usable. ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Meshy.AI were all used.
We apply artificial intelligence to enhance original materials in 2D content, such as character avatars and loading screens. Initially, we capture a screenshot of the staging scene within the game. Subsequently, this screenshot undergoes processing using artificial intelligence while preserving all key proportions and details of the original material. Following this, our artists conduct final processing if necessary.
AI only was used to create the achievement images
Yes it only uses pre-generated AI artwork on the store page. This game does not use generative ai within the gameplay. The store page features some basic ai art assets for the main cover of the game.
Tickle Monster has used the Midjourney AI service to generate most of the images shown in the game. In particular, the 650+ player images were generated using heavily pixelated and manually-edited composite images as source material, and mascots were generated from text inputs. None of the text content is AI-generated, though. For more on the process used to generate player images, see this blog post: https://www.ticklemonster.com.au/2023/06/14/photobashing-game-assets-via-midjourney/

The Imagery in the store page was generated by DALL-E.
Some of the images on loading screens and menus have been manipulated using AI including the title art and store backgrounds. I'm a solo developer with no budget and I'm a terrible artist.

The game does not contain AI-generated content. AI-generated content is used just for Steam Images.
During the development process, we may use procedural and AI-based tools to assist in content creation. In all of these cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team. Examples include voiceover audio, badges, and calling cards.

voice made by AI
We use AI to generate pre-rendered skies.
Good morning everyone :), In this case, we have used AI to generate the promotional images for the game shown on Steam, such as the cover. We also used it within our game to explain the initial narrative, introducing the player through a series of images that show what the game world is like. The rest of the game has been created and illustrated by me :) (I’m not good at conceptual art but I am with the characters hahaha). If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Best regards!

The promotional and waiting images of the game use generative AI to make the work more complete. The actual content of the game lacks generative AI
Image generative AI was used to create the steam page artwork and in game icons.
The store pages primarily feature AI-generated text. Within the game, all voiceovers are created using AI, and certain meshes have been generated through AI as well.
