Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI tools were used during the development process to assist in writing code scripts, generating visual assets and narrative background text. All AI-generated content has been reviewed and curated by the developer before being included in the game.
See the description for an extended discussion about the tools used to produce this game.
AI use in this game includes Claude and Claude Code for assisting with implementing complex systems and bug fixing. The codex's image-examination assets are pre-rendered during development: in-game screenshots are composited via ChatGPT and then some are stylistically processed by a model running locally on my laptop. I experimented a bit with Adobe Podcast to make recordings on my not-very-good mic sound a little better but I wasn't so impressed with the results so I don't think much of this made it in. Most sound effects were found in online libraries but in some cases they were generated using ElevenLabs and other sound generation models when suitable alternatives could not be found. Some 3D models and textures were created using Meshy. Text was checked for spelling and grammar with Grammarly and Claude.
Neo Lobby Arcade™ uses artificial intelligence tools during development and marketing to assist with the creation of certain pre-rendered assets, such as promotional materials or placeholder visuals.
The game does not use generative AI to create content dynamically during gameplay. All in-game experiences, environment, and interactions are curated and authored by the development team.
AI tools were used to assist with coding during the development process.
Additionally, generative AI was used to create some of the artwork and assets displayed on the store page and in marketing materials.
During the preparation of the store page and early visual concept exploration, we may use AI-based tools as part of the research and inspiration process — for example, to explore ideas, references, or general visual directions.
All final visuals, artworks, and graphic assets presented on the store page and used in the game itself are created, edited, and finalized by human artists using standard digital art and design tools. AI is not used for generating final images or in-game assets.
This game utilized AI tools exclusively to assist in writing and optimizing a portion of the underlying code during development. All other elements, including visual assets, 3D models, music, and sound effects, were created entirely without the use of AI. All AI-assisted code underwent manual review and testing to ensure game quality and stability.
Reel Talk is made by Lost Rabbit Digital: two siblings who handle all the coding, music, writing, and playtesting ourselves, with help from one additional artist, and one musician. We're a tiny team with no outside funding. To keep up, we sometimes use AI tools to brainstorm or generate rough drafts. But nothing ships without our hands on it. Every line of code, every sprite, every track is reviewed, rewritten, and refined by us.
This game uses pre-generated AI only for certain UI background images and promotional store visuals. These assets were created before release and remain fixed. The game does not include any live AI generation during gameplay.
We use AI tools to assist in development strictly for:
1.Writing boilerplate code and handling repetitive tasks.
2.Adjusting and refining our original texture assets.
3.Polishing the script and text.
All content is manually reviewed and finalized by the team.
This game uses generative AI during development to assist with the creation of visual assets and music. AI was also used to assist with certain marketing materials (e.g., trailer and store assets). All AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited by the developer before release. The game does not generate content from player inputs at runtime, and no player data is used to train AI models.
AI has been used to enable the small team of developers to generate code faster and speed up development significantly. It has also been used to generate some art assets. We aim to use AI in a way to enhance the speed and quality of our output, while being mindful of not using it in a way that hurts the artistical integrity of the game.
Some visual assets, such as store capsule images and in-game card illustrations, were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All gameplay and code are original.
During the dialogue sequences, the characters avatar representations have been created using AI image generation tools based on original 3D images of the in-game models
AI was used only to generate early marketing concept images. All gameplay systems, in-game assets, mechanics, and code are entirely created by the developer. No AI is used in gameplay or player-facing systems.
I use AI to debug my existing code so I don't need to spend time looking at documentation. I also use AI to generate some of the art but not all of it.
Some promotional images on the Steam store page were created with the assistance of generative AI tools during early visual concept work and were subsequently manually refined.
The game itself does not use generative artificial intelligence.
AI is used for occasional help with processing textures. It is also used to help speed up the coding process by providing relevant documentation or info on a functionality being implemented.
AI tools were used to support parts of the development process, such as initial image, music, and code drafts. Every element was then hand-crafted, adjusted, and tested to fit the game’s vision. As a solo developer, this made it possible to create a broader and more polished experience.
As a self taught solo dev, I use ai to learn about new way to create and improve my coding skills. So part of my knowledge comes from ai and while writing code I get a second opinion from ai to know if there are better ways to go about it and better myself.
