Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
In the process of writing the code, building the game world, as well as creating graphics and publishing the game, hints (as a consultation) from artificial intelligence were used. The main character is fully voiced by AI.
The game's music, art, and shader assets are supported by generative artificial intelligence.
Pee Wee the Polka Dotted Pig and his jingle are copyright of PineyWoods Corner, LLC. Music and imagery is used with permission.
We used generative AI to create certain visual elements of the game menus during development. No content is generated dynamically at runtime. All necessary rights have been respected.
Some of the voice lines in Safe Zone were generated using AI voice tools during development due to limited resources. These are pre-recorded and have been manually reviewed for narrative and emotional consistency. In future updates, these AI-generated voices may be replaced with performances by real voice actors. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
The game may include AI-generated background music. This decision is currently under consideration and will be clearly communicated in the final release.
The content of this game is human-made and manually designed, with love and care.
The narration was professionally recorded and then enhanced with voice technology for a polished experience. Some of the narrated lines were written with the help of writing assistants and thoughtfully edited by hand.
We use AI to assist our team in development and save working hours, but all AI-generated content, code, or renders only served as inspiration or concept pieces. Everything was reviewed, refined, and finalized by our team before being implemented into the game.
Music from Old Fairy Tales
The music was inspired by reading old, well-known fairy tales, which I have rewritten and summarized in verse. With the help of AI (partly through singing and refining with AI) and post-production in Audacity, I was able to develop new songs from them.
