Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Some visual art assets displayed within the in-game gallery were created using generative AI tools. These images were manually curated, edited, and selected by the developer to fit the game's psychological themes and narrative structure. No live generation occurs during gameplay.

Generative AI was used to create a small portion of the visual content in a video segment. This is openly acknowledged in the game as part of the story.
To help with store visuals I used generative AI tools to assist in creating some promotional artwork and banners for the Steam page. All actual game content, gameplay and in-game assets were made without using AI.

If you could peek inside my code or topology, you would BEG me to use AI to fix it. BUT NO. This crap is handmade and stays that way! The soundtrack, however, is a hybrid: I used generative AI to create raw textures, which I then manually arranged and mixed.
The game uses AI to create some of its graphical assets.
I want to be honest: many things like art, sounds and promotional materials were made with the help of AI tools.
AI generation was partially used to create marketing materials. The game itself is handcrafted.
During the development of Money Garden Simulator, we used artificial intelligence to assist with certain text elements and marketing materials. AI was used at the idea generation stage and for creating textual content (such as ChatGPT), including game descriptions, item names, and in-game dialogues. We confirm that all AI-generated content complies with Steam's guidelines and does not infringe any copyrights.
AI tools were used only for translation purposes, helping create localized text in multiple languages, and for coding assistance during development
This game uses artificial intelligence to drive roleplaying of characters in the game.
Chat GPT 5 was used to perform the translations.
Some promotional images for this game were created with the assistance of artificial intelligence.
AI is used to translate the store page.
We used AI in our art pipeline in order to improve some of our background scenery where possible.
This game uses AI-assisted tools during development to support the creation of assets such as text polishing, 3D models, textures, and sprites. AI was used as a creative aid for pre-rendered content and visual elements, but it does not generate live gameplay, or player-driven content. All final assets are reviewed, refined, and integrated by the development team.
Super Real AI reverses the traditional use of artificial intelligence. Instead of AI serving humans, humans now serve AI. A local LLM powers simulated users who constantly send unpredictable queries—while real players, acting as AI workers, must respond, classify, and adapt. It’s not a game using AI; it’s a game about using AI.
Localized for Accessibility To make our stories accessible to as many players as possible, we have used AI-assisted translation for French, German, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish. As a small team, we have worked hard to provide the best possible context for every scene, but we know AI isn't perfect. If you encounter any awkward phrasing or errors, please let us know! Your feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone. Report Issues via Steam Discussions or Support Link
An LLM was used for some text, marketing and video backgrounds.

Signal Lost uses generative artificial intelligence for pre-generated voiceover lines only. - The voiceovers are created using ElevenLabs, an AI-based text-to-speech service. - All AI-generated audio is produced before release, reviewed, and edited by the developer to ensure quality, accuracy, and appropriateness. - No content is generated live or dynamically during gameplay. - All other game assets — including art, animations, level design, and code — are created by the developer or sourced from licensed, non-AI stock resources. This ensures full transparency about the use of AI while maintaining complete creative control over the game experience. The AI-generated content is used only to support narrative delivery, maintain consistent tone, and enhance immersion while respecting copyright and ethical guidelines.
AI was use to generate code and for general help. A machine learning model is used to detect squats in game.
The logo was made by AI. Some of the coding was done with the help of AI.
AI tools were used to rapidly prototype imagery and narrative beats, while collaborating with human partners to ensure cohesion and polish.

Megan AI runs a local language model on your PC to generate dialogue and text-to-speech replies in real time. No conversation data leaves your machine.

Artificial Player does not generate content. AP is an application that uses advanced deep neural network algorithms for image analysis. This enables AP to recognize environments, navigate through them, and take appropriate actions. It also serves as a platform that allows you to integrate your own pretrained models, replace predefined ones, and create customized behaviors. All marketing materials was generated using various AI technologies.

AI is used for suggestion finding and checking text assets. All assets are finalized by humans.
All voice lines in Training Arc were generated using AI narration tools. There is no live generation or player-facing AI system. All audio is pre-recorded, voiced by a warm, slightly gruff ossan voice with a strong local accent. He’ll accompany you through your training. Quiet, steady. Always there. Kōbako.
There is some writing which is provided for the player to simulate the conversational style of LLMs when the player is pretending to be the ship's computer. This text was generated via LLM.
AI has been used to help develop the game's cover art.
In Clicker Maker, all content is dynamically generated by AI, except for icons and fonts.
All our puzzles are created from 3D scans of real world places or modelled by human 3D artists. Occasionally our 3D artists use some limited generative AI tools as part of their process, e.g. for cleaning up texture artifacts of 3D scans or adding small details like figures or objects. We will never use any fully AI generated content directly in the game.
Our designers manually craft the game logo, though we employ neural networks during pre-production to expedite the rendering of intricate character details. No live AI-generated content is used!
I create a small portion of the code with reference to AI. I use AI for translating the store text.
The sounds in this game are generated using AI.

Some of the images have been made using Chat GPT AI image generation for efficiency of creating this app. None of the images are offensive and none of the images depict famous people. It is all safe and of good nature.
Ai was used to generate rock and trees shapes for xukaackque. Then i later used Gimp2 to color and reshape and then shaders for effect.
Two textures in Restart were generated using AI, one of which was heavily modified afterwards.
