Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game utilizes generative AI in the creation of some images, background music, and sound effects. All such content is reviewed and edited before being incorporated into the game.
Generative AI was used to assist with portions of the Steam store page text, promotional image editing, and the creation of some in-game artwork. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the development team before inclusion in the game.
Generative AI is being used during development solely to create character head portraits. It enabled us to create thousands of portrait variations across three age stages, helping the large cast of characters feel more varied, immersive and realistic while allowing characters to visibly age during long careers. Every portrait is created in advance and checked by the Playsport art team before being included in the game. Nothing is generated while the game is running. No other artwork in the game, including vehicles, decals, logos or clothing uses generative AI. AI-generated portraits can be disabled in the preferences menu.
Our AI assistance is mainly focused on copy polishing (e.g., correcting typos and logical errors), a small amount of scene refinement and VFX for the second part of the game (the second part is a redesign of some original scenes from ICEY; after handcrafting the concept design and finishing the demo, we use AI to batch-reduce repetitive work), and some programming implementation and test cases. In all other areas—such as concept design, character design (character illustrations), scene design and related design work, combat animation and VFX, and scene implementation (from hand-drawn 2D animation to final implementation)—there is no AI content at all. The specific iteration details are basically all in the development VLOG; if you're interested, feel free to look through it.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create some character, environment, and object visuals, 3D assets, and promotional materials. All AI-generated content was created in advance during development. No new content is generated by AI during gameplay, and the game does not connect to any external AI services.
All artwork, animation, writing, character designs and other creative content in this game were made by hand. None of it was created with generative AI. Generative AI was used only in two parts of development: Programming assistance: helping to write and debug parts of the game code. Translation assistance: helping to translate the text for non-Chinese language versions. The artwork and writing that players see in the game were not generated by AI.
Generative AI was used primarily to assist in the creation of some visual assets and images used in the game, including illustrations, UI artwork, and promotional materials. AI-generated images were manually reviewed, selected, edited, and adjusted by the developer before being integrated into the game. The game does not use generative AI to create content in real time during gameplay.
Pre-generated AI tools were used during development to create portions of the game's static 2D artwork and music, including some environment and character images, store marketing art, and achievement icons. The outputs were selected, edited, integrated, and reviewed by the developer. No content is generated while the game is running, and the game does not send player prompts or player data to any AI service.
Translation was supported by AI tools.
Content produced with AI assistance: script functions and audio.
Serv-Bot's Firewall uses AI tools in its art and media pipeline, always under human direction and review: Sprite art. The game's original hand-authored sprites were upscaled and repainted at native resolution with an image-editing model (Qwen-Image-Edit), then reviewed, corrected and in many cases restored to the originals by hand. Concept art for the six "arsenal" enemy types, the Serv-Bot HUD portraits and the achievement icon motifs were generated with local image models (Z-Image Turbo, Qwen-Image-Edit) from our own designs and reference art, then composited and finished in code. Canon elements such as the Greeb ship in the icons are the game's own sprite art, not generated. Cutscenes. The in-game story videos come from our SIGNAL series. Keyframes were generated with a local image model trained on our own characters, motion with a local video model (Wan 2.2), narration with a text-to-speech model (Kokoro) and music with local music models (ACE-Step, Stable Audio Open). Scripts, story, character designs, editing and direction are ours. Localization. Interface text in 28 languages was machine-translated with an AI model from our English source and has not yet been reviewed by native speakers. Code. Parts of the game's code were written with AI coding assistance, reviewed and tested by the developer. Sound effects are procedurally synthesised, not AI-generated. All AI generation ran on the developer's own hardware; no copyrighted third-party works were used as inputs beyond our own assets and characters.
Generative AI was used during development to create visual assets, including illustrations and backgrounds, produce background music, and translate in-game text. Images created using generative AI are also used on the Steam store page and in promotional materials. No content is generated using AI during gameplay.

Generative AI was used during development as an assistive tool for code prototyping and localization, and to create some pre-generated visual content, including fictional patient photographs used as environmental and narrative elements in the game. AI-generated concept art is used only as internal visual reference and is not included as game assets. All AI-generated content included in the game is pre-generated. No generative AI runs during gameplay. Final level design, asset placement, gameplay systems, narrative implementation, and asset integration are created and assembled by the developer.
This game makes extensive use of generative AI during development to assist with visual, music, and written content, including background artwork, visual assets, game music, and discussion, revision, and polishing of the script. Generated content is reviewed, selected, edited, and integrated by the developer before being used in the game. The script, character settings, and overall creative direction are led by the developer and developed through an iterative collaboration with generative AI.
This game includes assets created with generative AI during development (official music, song artwork, and drum animations). Nothing is generated while you play, and the game does not connect to an AI service at runtime. Players cannot send prompts to any AI.

Levels, game design, boss patterns and story are entirely hand-made in a custom level editor built by the developer. The game code is written with AI coding assistants under the developer's direction. Character and environment sprites started as AI-generated sprite sheets and were hand-retouched frame by frame. Music is created with Suno. Most sound effects are synthesized procedurally by code written with an AI coding assistant, then selected and tuned by the developer; a few come from CC0 and royalty-free libraries (Kenney, OpenGameArt, Mixkit). No AI runs at play time.
Character illustrations, backgrounds, and card artwork in this game were created with the help of generative AI tools and then selected and edited by the developer. AI tools were also used to assist with English translation and text. All music and sound effects are licensed works by human creators. The game does not generate any AI content during gameplay.
Generative AI was used to create the game's visual assets. All AI-generated artwork was reviewed and edited before inclusion in the game.
Generative AI was used to create pre-rendered story illustrations, horror encounter images, promotional artwork and music. AI tools also assisted with narrative text and localization. These assets are prepared in advance; the game does not generate AI content during play.
We are relying on pre-rendered assets for proof-of-concepts, but continuously replacing these with our assets. Our plan to is replace all textures before go-live. No AI-generated music/sfx is used.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure This game includes a small number of visual assets, such as certain images and food ingredient models, that were created with the assistance of generative AI. These assets have been carefully curated and refined by the development team to align with the game’s style and quality. All core gameplay, design, player character, dragon character, and player interactions are handcrafted.

This game uses generative AI tools in production, under human direction. Part of the 2D art (characters, backgrounds, icons, interface) and part of the text go through these tools, always from direction, references and rules I define, and always reviewed, corrected and approved piece by piece before entering the game. Other art and text in the game were made by hand. All decisions about story, script, scene design, mechanics and art direction are mine. The game has no voice acting, and no AI-generated voice. Nothing is generated while you play: everything the game shows is a fixed file in the package.
