Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Generative AI tools were used during the development of Only Up: 2D Platformer to create and assist with certain game content. This includes portions of the game's code, some visual assets, the soundtrack, and additional localization content.
Some of the store's visual designs utilized AI.
Generative AI was used during development to create and iterate on selected pre-rendered 2D artwork, environmental textures, decals, and billboard/sign graphics. These assets were selected, edited, processed, and integrated by the developer. No AI content is generated during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services.
I am a solo indie developer with little coding experience. AI has helped me with the programming in my game, which has allowed me to build this game for you all. Game Development is a big passion of mine, and I could not do it without the assistance of AI.
This game contains AI-generated assets. The player character and user interface were created using AI tools.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create pre-generated content included in the game. Suno AI was used to create the music tracks under a paid commercial-use plan. AI-assisted tools were also used to help create some 3D and environmental assets, as well as localization text. All outputs were reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer before release. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay and does not connect to any generative AI service at runtime.
Human solo dev made: writing, music, game design, game production, voice acting, SFX, and basically everything else. In addition, some 3D and VFX asset packs (plus additional SFX) were purchased from third-party marketplaces, where they are explicitly labeled as non-AI, human-made content, and credited in-game. AI usage: AI helped with localization corrections, and was used to refine assets, strictly following human artistic direction and human-made examples — no generation from scratch. Example: Plum's character portraits are in-game mesh screenshots, inserted by me into pre-designed empty icon frames, then refined with AI for a more polished result. Note: I would be happy to replace AI-refined assets with human artist's work, if this becomes financially possible in the future.
Some of this game's graphics and audio assets were created using AI tools.
AI-generated artifacts
It has been used in the store page images.
Some models and textures in the game are AI generated to save resources as a solo developer.
AI is used only to generate elements for the trailer and promotional media. AI is not used in any part of the game itself, including gameplay, mechanics, or runtime systems.

Blast Arena does not use AI to generate gameplay, code, or real-time content. Artificial intelligence was only used during development to help create certain promotional and marketing assets, such as concept art and store visuals. All in-game content and player experiences are fully handcrafted and not AI-generated.
Artificial intelligence tools were used throughout development, assisting with the game’s programming as well as the creation of capsule artwork and other minor graphical assets.
Some visual assets, promotional artwork, and portions of the localization were created or assisted using generative AI during development. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
Note: Most of the translations and music in this game were created with the assistance of AI.
We have used generative AI tools to translate the game into additional languages and make it accessible to a wider audience. The development team has reviewed and overseen the integration of all text to ensure it is displayed correctly and that the interface and menus function properly.
Gen AI was used only for translation assistance. No AI was used for artwork, visuals, audio, or gameplay content.
Generative AI was used exclusively to create all of the game's music and some of the promotional artwork (such as posters and banners). No in-game assets, code, or mechanics were created using AI.
Our team uses generative AI tools to help develop certain elements of the game.
Some temporary horror sound effects and vocal effects in this game were created using generative AI tools during development. These assets have been reviewed and integrated by the developer. As development continues and resources become available, these temporary AI-generated audio assets may be replaced with recordings created by professional voice actors and sound engineers to further enhance the game's atmosphere and realism.
AI tools were used as supportive tools during the development process, including assistance with code, visual assets, and music. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by our development team before being included in the game.
This product only uses generative AI for background scenery. These asset's visibility can simply be hidden via main menu toggle
All visual assets in this game are pre-generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
During the development of this game, generative AI tools were used to assist in creating specific 2D visual assets. This includes decorative murals on environmental walls (such as character paintings) and certain UI icons for the achievement system. The core content of the game, including all 3D level design, physics-based climbing mechanics, the economic system, and core programming, was entirely handcrafted and developed by the creator. We are committed to providing players with a pure, hardcore, and challenging vertical parkour experience.
