Public Steam disclosure research 25,383 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

to generate palceholder content before we will replace them by human made content
AI-generated content has been used very little in the game: text correction and translation for the Steam page and in-game text. UI generation, which will likely be replaced later with non-AI-created assets. Occasional code corrections, but 90% of the code was written by myself.
Explore the Universe 2175 uses AI in two distinct ways, and we want to be clear about both. Real-time simulation (the core of the game). The galaxy is driven by a custom AI system we built ourselves. Faction behavior, MEGABOT's roaming strategy, enemy tactics, and the way wars unfold across sectors are all computed live in our own engine — not generated text or assets. This is procedural and rule-based simulation: the "intelligence" you fight against is real-time decision-making, the same category as the AI in any strategy game, just deeper. Dialogue is human-written, scripted in advance. Music and sound are human-created. Some in-game entity visuals and animations are AI-generated (created during development, not dynamically while you play). Some marketing and store-page images are AI-generated. Gameplay screenshots are authentic. No AI-generated content is used to deceive players or misrepresent the game.
The promotional images of the game store interface, game icons, in-game item pictures, and background music are all generated by AI.
Some visual assets (including capsule art and promotional images) were created using AI-assisted tools and further refined manually. No AI-generated content appears in gameplay, and no AI is used during runtime.
This game extensively utilizes AI technology in character design, UI, visual effects, sound effects, music, and promotional artwork, enhancing production efficiency while exploring innovative styles.
AI draws illustrations of the characters.
2D assets, and sound
All in-game content, interactions, and outcomes are fully created and controlled by the development team, with no AI influencing gameplay. Some development assets, such as concept art, icons, or marketing materials, were generated using AI tools.
This game features only a single illustration, which serves as the menu background and was created using AI-generated image content.
Some visual assets in Candy Destroyer, such as characters, bullets, and special abilities, were created with the assistance of AI tools and then manually refined and implemented by the developer. Other assets are sourced from licensed asset libraries like Freepik. All gameplay and game logic are fully created by the developer.
Some individual images are generated by AI
AI is used for generating marketing material and for some in-game assets both as placeholders and as long term use assets. These could include, music, 3D models, icons, and character dialogue. AI is also used for code optimization.
Small Number of small items/meshes and Images were generated by AI.
During development, procedural and AI-assisted tools may be used to support content creation. Regardless of the tools involved, the final experience reflects the creative vision and craftsmanship of the solo developer behind the project.
Generative AI was used to create some store page promotional images. No generative AI is used to create gameplay content or generate content during gameplay.
Some scenes, items, and other assets in the game were generated with the assistance of AI. During the multilingual localization process, we used AI as a supplementary translation tool to improve efficiency.
Used AI to generate images.
This game does not generate content during gameplay. AI was used only to create title and logo art.
Sands of Avalon uses AI exclusively to give the gods unique personalities and dynamic voice lines. Each god reacts differently to the player’s choices, offering distinct blessings, curses, and dialogue that make every playthrough feel personal and immersive. No gameplay mechanics rely on AI and it is used only to enrich storytelling and deepen the connection between players and the divine beings in the game.
I'm mostly doing this by myself and I have used AI to generate specific images related to The 5th Realm as described by myself and my game design documents. I have also given samples of documents generated by myself (like my game design document) to AI to enhance needed descriptions. These are for the initial "coming soon" store page. Except for when (and if) I get funding to complete The 5th Realm, there will be little to no AI used in generating content for the game. At this point all other documents and content are completely original. If needed, it is highly possible that in the future during further development I may ask AI for help in generating or correcting certain specific code or blueprints that I cannot do for myself. Ideally, I will pay a coder for this. In short, The 5th Realm is an all original idea and genre from my own mind that I have been working on since before the advent of AI.
This game uses AI-generated content, including cinematic videos, voices and some images.
Some background images and UI assets were created with the assistance of generative AI and were further edited and refined by the developer.
AI was used for some of the game's code and scarcely for grammar checking, making some dialog sound more natural and localization. No AI was used for any of the game's art, music or writing the overall narrative.
AI tools were used to support early concept exploration and visual ideation during development. Artificial intelligence tools were used during development to assist with the creation and processing of audio content, such as sound effects and voice variations.

As a solo developer, transparency with my players is essential to me. That's why I want to clarify that I have used artificial intelligence tools to assist in the creative process of Celestial Deus. Working alone on a project of this scope requires finding creative solutions. AI allowed me to bring my artistic vision to life where my own skills or resources were limited. Here is how it was used: Skybox: The skybox, which depicts a stylized sky filled with large clouds as if viewed from a great height, was generated by an AI to match the game's unique atmosphere. Voice Acting: To bring the characters to life, I first recorded all their voices myself. Then, I used an AI to transform my voice recordings, ensuring that each voice perfectly matches the personality and character of the deity it represents. Music: I composed the foundational music tracks myself, and then used AI to remix and enhance them. This gave them more style and complexity for a more immersive ambiance. My approach was always to use my own creations as a starting point and guide these tools, allowing me to deliver a more complete experience than I could have achieved on my own.
AI was used to generate some of the voices in the game and some of the images seen in the game.
Game logo and menu images made with ai software
Some of the voices in the game were generated using ElevenLabs voice changer, solely to produce pre-recorded audio. Some 3D models were created with Tencent tools as development support. ComfyUI-based workflows were also used to generate certain pre-rendered images and visual materials. None of these systems generate content during gameplay, and no AI tools affect the game dynamically at runtime.
We use AI to generate some graphic assets.
This game uses AI only as a base for certain visuals (store artwork, interface elements, and a few buttons) and one or two 3D meshes. All of these assets were then reworked, modified, and finalized manually. No content is generated automatically or in real time during gameplay.
For the store page only, I used my art as reference then AI generated using my theme of the game and art-style.
I used Elevenlabs AI Voice Robots to do all the voicework in the game. A few store page images have been created with ComfyUI. Achievements images have been created with with ComfyUI.
Store page artwork was AI-assisted. Game visuals are hand-made for the actual experience.
We use AI to generate the behavior of your monsters!
Voice acting and a few art assets were supported by AI tools to keep this ambitious project possible as a solo developer.
AI generation tools were used to assist in the creation of store marketing assets (such as capsule art) and some in-game item icons. These assets were further reviewed and polished by humans.

English Version: This game uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in limited ways to enhance creativity and player interaction. AI is used as follows: Text and Dialogue: Some character dialogue, mission descriptions, or narrative content are partially assisted by OpenAI’s GPT model (ChatGPT / GPT-5) during development or runtime. Content Review: All AI-generated content is reviewed and filtered by humans to ensure it complies with Steam’s content policies and copyright standards. Non-Infringement Assurance: The AI model is not instructed to reproduce or imitate any copyrighted works (such as books, films, music, or games). Player Interaction: During gameplay, AI may generate adaptive responses to player input, but all outputs are monitored and filtered through built-in safety systems. The use of AI in this game is intended solely for creative assistance and interactive storytelling. All final content is reviewed and approved by the development team.
FLAIR uses generative AI to bring your ideas to life. Players can describe characters, items, buildings, or world elements, and the game will generate them directly in-game. Your creativity shapes the world.
We use generative AI content for programming code, as well as for certain assets such as image backgrounds and effects.
Some in-game icons are created using generative AI tools like Stable Diffusion, with manual review to ensure copyright compliance. We monitor AI-generated content proactively and encourage players to report violations via Steam's reporting system.
