Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI was used only to generate early marketing concept images. All gameplay systems, in-game assets, mechanics, and code are entirely created by the developer. No AI is used in gameplay or player-facing systems.
AI is used for occasional help with processing textures. It is also used to help speed up the coding process by providing relevant documentation or info on a functionality being implemented.
AI tools were used to support parts of the development process, such as initial image, music, and code drafts. Every element was then hand-crafted, adjusted, and tested to fit the game’s vision. As a solo developer, this made it possible to create a broader and more polished experience.
This game does not use generative AI during gameplay. Some visual and audio assets were created with the help of AI-assisted tools before development, but all content is fixed, reviewed, and does not generate new material during play.
We use AI to generate the music you hear in the trailer(s), and have used it to refine our descriptions of the game as you see on Steam. Occasionally we may use AI to assist us in coding the game, or completely write parts of code for our game. However, during gameplay there are no parts of AI used, what you see in the game when it comes to art, 3D-models, effects, etc., is made manually without AI, with the exception being parts of the code.
AI tools were used to generate content for both the game and its store presence. Specifically, AI was used to create marketing materials and capsule images for the store page. In-game, AI was utilized to create visual assets for units and buildings, as well as video elements for the studio intro and the main menu.
During the development of Money Garden Simulator, we used artificial intelligence to assist with certain text elements and marketing materials.
AI was used at the idea generation stage and for creating textual content (such as ChatGPT), including game descriptions, item names, and in-game dialogues.
We confirm that all AI-generated content complies with Steam's guidelines and does not infringe any copyrights.
No AI was used to create the game's visual assets or music
No AI is used to generate content during gameplay
AI tools were used only for internal technical support, such as patching the game engine, and do not generate player-facing content.

Only: very small misc UI elements, some smaller closed coding elements like some shaders and AI machine translation for every steam supported language excluding English, Polish and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified).

AI tools have only been used when they add real benefit to the game and where I have full control on the creative output. In all such cases, the final product reflects my own creativity and expression.

The game does not use AI at runtime: no gameplay content, player-facing text, or other material is generated by AI while playing.

About the Use of AI
During the early stages of development, Project Substrata utilized generative AI tools (such as image generation) for concept art and idea exploration only.
All in-game assets, textures, audio, story elements, and code are manually created and refined by the development team.
Within the game world, autonomous drones and facility AIs operate as part of the gameplay and narrative systems, not as real AI services.
The game runs entirely offline, with no external data transmission or use of online AI APIs.
Generative AI was used for images generation used in-game. Part of generated images was then corrected by a paid human worker. Another generated part is relatively low quality and is aimed to be replaced by proper art before the full release.
Images for the Steam page are including AI-generated graphical content from the game.
Generative AI was also partially used for programming help, with every generated line being reviewed by the actual developer.
"OpenAI ChatGPT" and "pixellab.ai" were used during development.
