I was working on this game for more than 2 years without ai. I started to use ai 1-2 months ago for: Due to a lack of capital for professional sounds i bought sound packages and for some few sounds i used AI software. Depending on the game's success, I will invest in replacing sounds and self-created elements with professional assistance. AI was used mainly for bug fixing in the code and for translating the game text into different languages.
We utilize AI-assisted tools in our texture creation and texture editing workflows to improve efficiency and maintain visual consistency.
IA has been used for : - Localization (JP, SC, TC, RU)
Used AI to create some portrait materials and visual images while preserving realism as much as possible.
This game uses AI-generated content in the following areas: 3D Models & Animations: We used Meshy AI to generate 3D character/object models and their animations. All assets were reviewed, adjusted, and integrated by our team to fit the game's visual style and quality standards. 2D Art: Background images in-game and certain store page visuals (such as screenshots/key art) were created with the help of generative AI image tools. Our team curated and edited the final outputs before shipping. All AI-generated assets were reviewed prior to release to ensure they comply with applicable laws and do not include infringing material. No live (runtime) generative AI is used during gameplay.
Some of the English text in this game has been translated using generative AI tools; all Chinese content was written manually by the developer.
This game contains a limited amount of AI-generated visual content created during development due to the project's low budget. Specifically, suspect profile images and some evidence-related visual assets or models were created with the help of generative AI tools. Not all evidence assets are AI-generated. The use of AI is limited to pre-made visual content only. No gameplay systems, dialogue, story logic, code, or real-time interactive content is generated by AI during play. All gameplay mechanics, case logic, interactions, and progression were designed and implemented by the developer.
This game utilizes generative AI technology to create some 3D models, background music (BGM), and sound effects to efficiently generate resources during the production process.
NPC Portrait Pictures
Achievement images and animation roullette images are generated with AI.
As a small, two-person independent development team, we utilized generative AI tools to create some of our character visuals and background artworks due to budget constraints. To ensure originality and maintain our artistic vision, these AI tools were guided by our own artist's original work, with their explicit permission. Please note that these AI-generated assets are currently serving as placeholders. As development continues and our resources grow, we plan to replace them with original, hand-drawn artwork in future updates. The game does not feature any live AI content generation during gameplay.
We used AI generation for some of the illustrations.
The promotional banner located in the "About This Game" section of the store page was created using AI-generative tools. This illustration was specifically crafted by referencing the game's actual in-game assets and visuals to represent the game's atmosphere. Please note that there is no AI-generated content or assets present within the actual gameplay of 'ANGLE'.
Generative AI tools were used during development for concept exploration, prototyping, and internal reference materials. All gameplay systems, visuals, text, and audio included in the released game are authored, curated, and reviewed by the developer.
some of the assets & sound effects are generated by AI
D.E.C.A.Y. has been developed by a single developer for over two years. Nearly all of the game’s content has been created by hand - from the environment to many objects inspired by real-world prototypes, helping make the world feel more atmospheric and alive. Only a small number of images and certain visual elements were created using generative AI tools.
The store page text was initially created with AI and then refined through editing.
Most of the game's graphics assets were created using pose sketches (ControlNet) and then adjusted in the graphics editor to maintain consistency. The game does not use any real-time AI-generated content.
Generative AI was used for promotional store page artwork
Our game includes the use of AI-assisted visual content. Certain CG (cutscene) images in the game were generated with the assistance of AI tools, based on keyframes and visual direction created by our art team. These assets are pre-generated during development and are not created dynamically. All AI-assisted content is limited to visual presentation only. It is optional, and does not affect gameplay systems, player interaction, progression, or game logic. All core gameplay design, narrative structure, and interactive content are fully created and implemented by the development team.
Some characters and scenes in the game are generated by AI.
Images generated by AI are manually processed and adapted for use in the game.
Artificial intelligence was used to help create the game's main art and logo.
AI was used as a productivity tool to assist in coding and drafting assets. All final content, including art and logic, has been extensively refined and reconstructed by human developers to ensure quality.
Some store assets (such as capsules and promotional images) were created with the assistance of AI tools due to limited resources during development. All gameplay, design, and core content of Glowbot Galaxy Defense are fully original and developed by me. As future projects grow, I plan to collaborate with artists to further enhance the visual presentation.
