Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

AI was used to generate logos and banners for your library display and store display.
Game is using AI generated pre-rendered imagery by Midjourney for title screen, intro and game cutscenes.
The draft of the logo was generated with Dall-E and then edited by me. I also plan to use PixelLab to help generating some alternating tilesets and nyamon creatures and NPC; also surely edited by me to ensure consistency.
Some subtitles were translated by A.I but are not listed as supported on steam. Those subtitles are marked as "A.I generated".
In game character art has been generated by AI but has been altered manually to best suit the style of the game.
The game uses a couple AI art pieces as splash art and main menu background.
menu page background, and other static non-gameplay GUI oriented page graphics
I've used AI to generate landscapes used in the "battle" cards within the game, that were then touched up by hand. The rest of the art in the game is licensed from artists.
Some parts of the story were written with assistance using Chat GPT.
we make it some asset for the game. only used for the visual and sound.
Some photos icons.
The AI was used to make store banners and one 2D character.
AI was used to generate images used in trailer. Images were generated by https://www.craiyon.com
I've used a bit of Generative AI magic and sprinkled in some unique visuals, adding a touch of style to the game.
Conversion from Japanese to foreign words and generation of terms suitable for games Generating concept images Generating icon images
AI-powered software was used to generate graphics that are displayed on this shop page and in the game.
The trees in the Germany Stage (shown in the first trailer) were generated with retro-diffusion. I intend to replace them with hand-drawn trees in the final game. There's also the "modern art" enemy that has ai-generated images displayed inside a frame. Besides that everything is hand made.
Using "https://stablediffusionweb.com/" 8 screenshots were created for the initial story in the game, as well as the developer's logo on the start screen.
AI was used to generate the game translations, and the store translations (in combination with human efforts guarantee consistency and clarity).
We used some AI-tools to help develop the game.
Character portraits, in-game prerenders, key art, and scare screens are currently rendered with Midjourney AI. Some of this content may be replaced with human-drawn art if the budget can be found between now and the final release planned for 7/14/24.
For the beta test, the user will be able to interact (chat) with AI Characters with personalities they can customize themselves!
We are using artist assisted AI. In that the artist draws and designs the characters and than the AI will help to polish and clean up the drawing up. That enables us to have a fast turnaround for many characters.
The Maze on the Cover was generated with A.I.
This game includes some AI-generated images.
i use Generated images as a puzzles for my game. nothing special, just random images that i was pre-rendered.
This game is fully human‑programmed. All objects, characters and enemies were hand‑drawn with only one exception: The Rex head in level 10. A few AI‑generated images were used for Steam and simple backgrounds.
I have used AI art generation for some of the game's assets.
- Capsule images: The images were created by a professional artist who partially used AI - Title screen: The background image on the title screen was partially AI generated

- Text-related: Translation of store descriptions for non-Japanese stores
There was AI image generation used for creating bases for some environment textures, those bases were heavily modified by hand to fit the game from the original texture spit out by AI.
Translation of game dialogues
Placeholder loading screens and some in-game materials were made with AI assistance.
AI has been used for concept art generation and current story placeholder images and may not appear in final game.
Terrors of War is being developed solo on a tight budget. To get the project to its current state I've used generative AI for a handful of placeholder assets: some voice lines, sound effects, UI iconography and the current Steam capsule art. These are all temporary. Every AI-assisted asset is flagged in the project as a placeholder and will be replaced with custom work from freelance artists progressively through Early Access. Wherever possible I use in-game screenshots and footage. What you see represents actual gameplay. No content is generated at runtime. All AI-assisted assets ship pre-generated in the build.
Storepage descriptions frst draftwas were AI generated. Some concept work and refs for 'arts' were AI generated, used ChatGPT to help with grammar as well.
Some images in the game are generated by AI.
using AI for text translation and images.
AI-generated materials are not used directly. of some of the character illustrations are used Posing, facial expressions, and composition of some character illustrations are used as references. I draw by hand while looking at the AI-generated materials.

AI used to assist with background paintings & VO.
Game does NOT include any AI-generated content. AI generation used for some promo-materials images.
Please note that NightCafe AI Art Generator was used to create the key art image in the game. NightCafe allows people to use it for commercial purposes and does its best to ensure that non-copyrighted images are used for generating art via their data set. The commercial license we use for this technology is granted by NightCafe's Site License. We did not use nor relied on any copyrighted material owned by third parties in the creation of the image. https://creator.nightcafe.studio/
AI was used to generate the images in the game. I'm a solo developer. I can't afford to hire artists, and I depend on this income to pay the rent and buy food. Please be considerate. I hope you enjoy the game.
Texture of some paintings in the environments is AI generated.
We use generative AI to create pre-rendered character images as a starting point, which are then meticulously refined and enhanced using image editing tools. The final assets combine the creative touch of digital hand-drawing with generative AI, resulting in high-quality, polished visuals.
We use AI-generated content in various aspects of Coin Pusher Casino to help deliver high-quality results within our capabilities. All AI-generated assets are created during the development process and are implemented as static (pre-generated) content. Currently, the following AI-generated assets are used in the game: • Text • Voice (new) AI-generated text is used for: • In-game text and translations (localization) • Steam Store descriptions, updates, and announcements • Social media communications • Customer support responses (to assist in providing clear, precise troubleshooting, including multilingual support) AI-generated voice is used for: • Arcade announcer voice We are committed to transparency and will communicate any future changes to our use of AI-generated content.
AI is used for cinematic cutscenes and certain 2D assets, but the majority of the work is done manually. The characters are actually hand-painted. Similarly, code workflows include partial generation for certain C++, C#, and HLSL functions.
