During development, procedural and AI-assisted tools may be used to support content creation. Regardless of the tools involved, the final experience reflects the creative vision and craftsmanship of the solo developer behind the project.
Since we’re a small development team, we use AI-generated images and edit them for our projects. We also plan to use AI for language localization. If downloads grow steadily after launch, we hope to collaborate with professional creators in the future.
Artificial intelligence was used to generate images at the sketch stage. Afterwards, all images were refined by an artist.
As a solo developer with limited graphic design experience, I used generative AI tools to assist in creating some art assets and marketing materials for the game. All AI-generated assets were manually edited, refined, and finalized to ensure originality and consistency with the overall art style. AI is not used in any way during gameplay, nor does it generate any real-time or dynamic content.
Strictly: in the manor 3d assets. Watch my video on youtube on it! Thank you.
Some icons or UIs are generated using AI
Some graphics in-game have been AI generated
This game does not generate content during gameplay. AI was used only to create title and logo art.
This game uses AI-generated assets only in pre-rendered, non-interactive content. Specifically, some character textures and 2D HUD elements were generated using AI tools, and certain background music tracks may include AI-assisted production via Pixabay resources. No AI is used to generate gameplay content, logic, or code during live gameplay. All interactive elements, level design, gameplay systems, animations, and story content were created manually by the developer.
Media materials
Meshy AI is used to make some props and characters in the game, also some widgets are images made with AI.
This game uses AI-assisted tools to help create some store page assets and in-game text descriptions. All gameplay, art, and systems are hand-crafted and not AI-generated during play.
The development process of the game used AI to generate backgrounds, characters images, and other images such as items for hidden objects, runes for match-3, and jigsaw images. Game logo was partially generated with AI. Additionally, AI was used to generate voice-overs and some part of localizations into french and german.
We are using Generative AI for our Main Capsule, Header Capsule, and Small Capsule, which are displayed across the Steam Store. In-game, a voice-changing AI tool is used to generate custom voices for voice acting.
Sprite of the character
AI helped me a lot when moving from GML to C#. The music in the Early Access version is also AI generated this is just a free-time hobby project and I mainly needed some semi ambient tracks to set the mood. Later on, I plan to purchase proper human made tracks before the full release. Towards the end of development I also used an AI plugin for Aseprite to speed up animating some of my own hand drawn sprites, but the very vast majority of the graphics was made by me, handcrafted, pixel by pixel.
Some textures
AI has been used to generate the images for a few of the cards as they currently exist in Nightmares. Most of the card images are created by actual artists and we're working to have the remaining generated images replaced prior to launch.
AI tools were used in a limited, supporting role during development to assist with certain technical and creative tasks. The vast majority of the game including gameplay design, environments, story, music, and presentation is created directly by human developers. AI-generated content is not central to the experience and is used only as part of the normal development workflow.
I used AI to generate the assets and assist in code development, but AI is not used in-game.
Some UI elements, Icons, Emblems, Sigils, Insignias, as well as Sound Effects, Special Effects, and Voice Lines have been created using various generative AI models under a Commercial Use license agreement with said generative AI models per each service's Terms of Service.

Use of AI for creating the base of sprites and soundtrack.
Some monster and character images are generated by AI
Some artwork, in-game videos, and voices are AI generated for prototyping purposes but are planned to be entirely replaced with human-made content by the end of development and before release.
As a solo developer, it's really hard to work on everything, so I used some AI tools to help me along the way. I don't generate anything from scratch. Everything used in the game has been first designed, concepted, and sketched. Then used AI to improve on the design. Also, generated content has been modified after with image editors to fit and adapt to the vision and needs of the game. Some examples are: Textures for some objects, ui cohesion, English writing...
AI currently assists me with tasks I can’t handle alone without 'overspending.' It’s versatile—useful for generating images (though I edit them later), writing code, and more. Since I’m a beginner, I rely on it for almost everything, even just to verify parts of my games.
It is used for placeholder artwork for Cards and Champions.

Translation of texts.
Pre-generated AI content only. During development, AI-assisted tools were used to help generate 2D sprites (characters such as ghosts, bats, skeletons, etc.) and to assist in writing game object scripts and behaviors. No AI system generates new code, text, or visuals while the game is running. All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited, and finalized by the developer before inclusion in the game. The game contains no live-generated AI content.
*The voice of one character in the game is a mechanical sound synthesized by AI and a synthesizer, using a public voice source. All other characters are voiced by real actors. *Some background images in the game were created with the assistance of AI-generated art. All other art assets are manually produced.

Promotional images, promotional videos, card images from the game.
Some visual assets in this game were created with the help of AI tools (e.g., OpenAI’s DALL·E, MidJourney, ElevenLabs). The developers reviewed every AI-assisted asset and selectively refined them to ensure they fit the game’s artistic direction and story. All tools were used within their terms of service, and the developers retain the necessary commercial rights. No real-time AI generation is used in gameplay.
This game uses pre-generated AI art. All in-game elements—including illustrations, backgrounds, and bosses—were created with generative tools and then edited and refined by the developer. The only exceptions are a few assets.
This game utilized AI tools during its development to assist in creating some of the photos and images featured in the game.

Some elements of the game were created with the help of AI-assisted tools and were then further developed through manual work — modified, improved, and integrated to align with the game’s overall style and vision.
Pre-rendered AI content only: audio. - Sound effects created with ElevenLabs prior to shipping. - Background music created with Suno prior to shipping. No live or in-game generation of content or code. No user prompts, no network calls to AI services at runtime. All visuals, animations, 3D models, UI and gameplay code are entirely handcrafted by the developer.
AI was used to create some assets of the game
This game contains pre-created images that were generated using generative AI. The AI content is used only as static graphics within the game and in marketing materials. No AI generation takes place during the runtime of the game.
AI tools were used only in a few short CG trailer segments to assist production. All other parts—including gameplay footage in the trailer and the game itself—do not use AI. Even in those CG segments, the content was carefully refined and post-processed by hand to ensure quality and presentation close to human-made standards.
Story,Localization; I'm using AI as a tool to assist me, but the main story, characters, and major plot points are all created by me. This way, there's no unnecessarily long or ridiculous AI-generated story; I'm just using it to make things clearer.
The magic circle pattern was generated by AI.
