Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI Content Usage Explanation:
Some visual assets in Briscawere created using AI-assisted tools. Specifically:
The achievement icons were generated with the help of AI to create consistent and stylized imagery.
A few store art elements, such as the background illustrations of the kings, were also generated using AI and later edited manually to fit the overall aesthetic of the game.
No in-game characters, animations, or core gameplay visuals were created using AI. The AI-generated assets are limited to supporting visual content, and all artwork was reviewed and polished by human artists before inclusion.
This game uses generative AI to create real-time in-game content such as character dialogue and ambient sound. All AI-generated content is moderated and filtered to prevent inappropriate or infringing material. Players can report content directly through in-game tools or the Steam interface.
The game uses pre-created images (background illustrations and some in-game items) generated using generative AI tools. All such content has been edited, stylized, and integrated by the development team, and will be replaced before release.
AI was utilized to generate portions of the game's text, 3D models, textures, and code. These elements were subsequently edited and finalized by the developer.
The game is created by myself.
Hand made logic, scripting, scenario, animation and music.
As a solo developer, AI was carefully used to help me creating only 3D models and some illustrations.
During development, illustrations (e.g., game over screen) were created using ChatGPT’s image generation features, based on hand-drawn sketches and developer-provided prompts. All AI-generated content was manually reviewed and selected by the developer. No AI is used during gameplay, and no live content or code is generated in-game.
AI has been utilized during the store page assets creation of this game. We have used it for the game icon creation, correcting some of the explanation texts about the game mechanics to have a clear communication with our players.
The following content is partially used in this game.
- AI-generated images
- AI-generated illustrations with modifications
- AI-generated music including melodies
The AI disclosure is checked per Steam policy due to placeholder images used on the store page during early development. All placeholders within the game, as well as the original store page screenshots, have since been removed and replaced with final, hand-crafted images authored by the developer.
Music (BGM & Tracks): Suno and Udio were used for initial music generation concepts. Our sound artist then refined, mixed, mastered, and remade these tracks to create the final in-game BGM and rhythm game audio. (Sound effects and other audio elements were produced directly without AI.)
Graphics (In-game Icons & Illustrations): Gemini and ChatGPT were used to generate initial drafts for select in-game icons and illustrations. Our graphic artists then directly edited, corrected, and retouched these assets to refine them for the final game.
In the game, AI generates text responses in real time in response to a user's conversation input. Players can naturally communicate with characters on the screen, where the Generative AI analyzes the user's input and generates responses. Some features also provide personalized interactions by generating in-game settings, mood swings, and advice messages in real time.
Pre-rendered content generated by AI for use in games, store pages, marketing materials, and community assets.
Nothing in the game is generated by AI in real time.
Some visual assets in the game were created using Adobe Firefly, a generative AI tool.
These AI-generated images are used for visual decoration only and do not affect gameplay mechanics or behavior.
Some of the backgrounds for scenes are AI rendered. Ideally, these are placeholders which will be replaced if the game is well received and further developed.
