Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
For icons, sprites and images.
Some in-game text and promotional content in this game were translated with AI assistance and are not generated in real time during gameplay.
AI generated art objects
I drew several pictures using AI.
Backgrounds are created using AI and manual refinement.
Many of the framed images on the cards and cutscenes were created with the assistance of AI.
Art works are made with AI and corrected by hands. and added to the game as static images.
Some dialogue art are created and assisted by artists using AI.
AI was only used for pre-rendered sci-fi image generation. The game does not use AI.
Generative AI is used for some of the card artwork in our game. And we use pre-coded, calculative AI for our AI opponent in some aspects of gameplay.
AI was used to generate certain 2D visual elements and a majority of voice acting.
We used AI to help us with smaller improvements on some of our content.
We dont have designer, so we are using resources from craftpix and some of them is composed and used with AI like Stable Diffusion for logo generation
Graphical assets for the game are a mix of purchased art, my own art, and/or AI generated art. Sound effects for the game are a mix of purchased and/or AI generated sound effects. There is no live generation of AI content during gameplay.
It was used for the playable characters' artworks.
It was used for the playable characters' artworks.
It was used for the playable characters' artworks.
AI used in the generation of some town images, portraits, and icons.
Some of the tools used in the creation of pre-rendered graphics for the game and store page use AI.
This game uses generative artificial intelligence to generate content for the game. Used For Art and Text.
Our game uses AI in a limited, supportive capacity. Specifically, AI occasionally assists in generating generic background elements or provides base inspiration through photobashing, which our artists then extensively modify. All AI-generated content is subject to significant human alteration to meet our artistic standards, ensure alignment with our creative vision, and faithfully represent the Wheel of Time canon. The primary game assets, including nearly all in-game elements, are fully developed in 3D using traditional modeling techniques. AI, at present, does not meet our quality standards for these core assets. Instead, AI serves as a creative tool for pre-rendered 2D art pieces, which are heavily customized by our team. Our game does not use AI for any live generation or dynamic content during gameplay. All portrayals of familiar characters, places, and items from The Wheel of Time books are created by Aether Games under full authorization and license.
Dungeum includes a large number of unique pet images that were created using generative AI tools during development. All AI-generated content is pre-rendered and manually reviewed to ensure quality, consistency, and appropriateness. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
Players will not use AI directly, I only used AI to generate some of the game's illustrations.
Some of the AI art will be generated from images that I took myself and other images that I have the licenses to use. Lore/text in the game is NOT AI generated nor is it inspired by AI. All is human created. AI is used for images only. Note: If this changes after the game is launched, I will let make announcement and provide a list of content that's has AI generated text, if it changes before launch then it'll be updated here.
Although some illustrations are still rendered or enhanced by generative artificial intelligence, the game is currently in the process of replacing all AI-generated artwork with non-AI illustrations. Updates will roll out gradually until the transition is complete.
Game characters are created with artificial intelligence
We use Replica Studio and/or similar tools to voice our NPCs in the game.
I used midjourney.
We apply artificial intelligence to enhance original materials in 2D content, such as character avatars and loading screens. Initially, we capture a screenshot of the staging scene within the game. Subsequently, this screenshot undergoes processing using artificial intelligence while preserving all key proportions and details of the original material. Following this, our artists conduct final processing if necessary.
Tickle Monster has used the Midjourney AI service to generate most of the images shown in the game. In particular, the 650+ player images were generated using heavily pixelated and manually-edited composite images as source material, and mascots were generated from text inputs. None of the text content is AI-generated, though. For more on the process used to generate player images, see this blog post: https://www.ticklemonster.com.au/2023/06/14/photobashing-game-assets-via-midjourney/
Generated AI is used mainly for background images and some monster illustrations.
The character drawings in the game are preliminary images completed by AI and then manually modified. Most of the content is manually modified.
AI to generate ideas for monsters, characters designs and mechanics of the game.
99% of the game assets are drawn by hand, but logo and character portrait references are generated. Author of this game no longer supports AI generation, does not use it anymore and does not recommend AI generation to anyone.
游戏中的一些图像为预渲染AI生成
We use AI during our production process to facilitate quest integration through our in-house tool, HanaCore. It allows us to synthesize, correct, and integrate quests while fully respecting the existing lore. We also use AI to assist with code generation, helping us save valuable development time.
The card graphics are made by AI
Some icons and graphics utilize AI placeholders, but we hope to replace these with finalized artwork by the time of the full release.
This game store page is AI content, and the copyright belongs to the developer
During the game design process, we used advanced AI tools to generate some pictures as creative references and sources of inspiration, and professionals performed artistic processing on this basis to show the unique art style of "Atman: Rebel Flame". At the same time, we also attach great importance to player feedback and suggestions. If you have any suggestions on the artistic performance of the game, please feel free to communicate with us through the community.
Image generation
A few background images were rendered using AI and manipulated thereafter to include drawn figures and tileset details.
We used AI in the background of the promotional image, and there is no AI drawing in the game.
In making this game, I tapped into the magic of AI to spice up the visuals. It all started with AI sketching out some cool concept art, which eventually turned into actual art that is used in the game. As a solo dev, using AI like this helped me bring a unique vibe to the game's look.
We use AI to assist our team make some of the static art for cards.
Some sound files (radio), music and small pictures.
The game uses AI-generated images. Some character's voices are AI-generated. Some texts are assisted by artificial intelligence.
I used a paid subscription of midjourney for the images of the backgrounds and the characters. Nothing is generated in real time. And the code was made all by hand. I also used some pictures for the game page.
AI-generated voiceovers.
The use of AI tools has increased the efficiency of our graphic designers' work and accelerated asset production. However, these tools do not preclude the high-quality result we want to achieve, and in the future we will gradually remove the use of AI, based on the financial performance of the game.
