This game utilizes AI-generated pre-rendered elements. Visual elements have been created using Playground AI, while voice acting has been performed using Genny Lovo AI and Freepik's AI tools. These AI-generated assets have been used to enhance the game's atmosphere and storytelling. However, the game does not use AI for real-time content generation or gameplay mechanics.
While in the development and public demo / playtesting phase, the game is temporarily using AI-generated voiceovers. Upon full release, these will be replaced with human performances and there will no longer be any AI content in the game.

AI is sometimes used in text writing, image generation and marketing.
In So it’s Simple!, some of the game’s visual assets — including characters, backgrounds, and objects — were created with the assistance of generative AI tools during development. These AI-generated assets were carefully reviewed, modified, and enhanced by the developer to ensure they match the game’s unique art style and emotional tone. The final game itself does not include any live AI generation during gameplay. All content is pre-rendered and artistically directed by the developer.
Currently AI Generated Images are used for UI Elements found in the game. These assets serve as placeholders and will be replaced by handpainted images over the course of development.

No AI is used for gameplay, story, or character behavior. Artificial intelligence was used only outside of the game, for example to help formulate store page text and potentially to generate some illustrations or graphics for marketing purposes. The in-game experience is entirely handcrafted, including all puzzles, levels, and content.
Cover background only for marketing in the store.
Some of the marketing material has been generated using Ai.
In Strange Waveforms, players can interact with an AI-powered character through text input or voice chat. The AI dynamically generates responses using OpenAI and ElevenLabs to create engaging, immersive conversations. Whether typing or speaking, players will receive unique, real-time interactions that enhance the storytelling experience. No user data is stored, ensuring a safe and privacy-conscious gameplay environment.
The image materials on the store page are drawn by AI
Generative AI was used to assist in the coding of this game only. All artwork, level design, game sounds and music are 100% human-made.
AI is only used to create individual images for the Store Page.
We used AI technology to create some of the textures and visuals in our game. These assets are provided locally and do not require an internet connection.
We used AI to create the capsules for the game's store page.
As indie developers, in order to improve our game content within limited resources, we used AI-assisted tools for「some background music tracks」during the early creation phase to generate drafts and inspiration references. The final version of these tracks was still manually designed and adjusted by our team. We also confirm that visual assets in the game are original creations by our artists, no AI image generation tools were used for the game's visuals.
Some 2D images in game where pre-rendered with usage of AI as a base for work of our 2D artists and later drawn-over in order to make them geniue art.
The game features an AI-assisted introduction sequence
Some character voices are AI-generated by elevenlabs.io.
Store promotional pictures
We occasionally used AI tools to help generate textures, images, ambient sounds, or rough concept ideas that were later refined & edited by hand. Nearly everything you see, hear, and play in this game, including the characters, environments, animations, gameplay systems, writing, and music production, was created manually by the developer & the bands & artists featured in the game. Every AI-assisted element was edited, remixed, or rebuilt to fit the game’s unique world and tone. AI tools were used for concept generation and minor asset assistance. No unlicensed likenesses, or copyrighted material was used.
Steam store art was generated with the AI.
We used ElevenLabs to write "Announcer" voice lines that are heard in the game. One example would be hearing: "You are victorious" after winning a match. Another example would be hearing: "Lost the lead" after losing first position.
Character designs are created manually by artists and writers. We use AI to speed up the drawing of backgrounds and planets. AI is not used to generate content directly during the game.
AI content was used for voice overs and some marketing materials
This game uses AI translation to support multiple languages.
AI technology is used exclusively for generating images on the store page and in marketing materials.
