Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI helped developing this game in aspects of UI, modelling & texturing, localization and gameplay mechanics
Generative AI tools were used during development to create some artwork, 3D assets, music, sound effects and localization text. These assets are prepared before release. The game does not generate AI content during play or connect to external AI services.
AI is used to aid in store page.
AI tools assisted the creation of in-game text and localization, and the development of code used to render pixel artwork and synthesize music and sound effects. The game does not use a generative AI model or service during gameplay.
Coding assistance, translation
The art, sound effects and voicelines are AI generated. Ideally, if the game makes some amount of $ I will replace all AI generate content. Read more about AI usage here: https://www.sdgames.co/blog/shades-of-europa-steam-page-and-demo
Generative AI was used during development to create some 3D models, textures, artwork, music, and store marketing materials, including the cinematic teaser. These assets were prepared before release. The game does not generate AI content during play or connect to external AI services.
Some of the game's content was created with the help of generative AI tools and then reviewed, edited and integrated by the developer: parts of the 3D unit and vehicle models and their textures, the key art and store artwork, backgrounds, voice lines and music.
Music, background, videos and images in this game, especially the artwork, were created using AI tools as a visual supplement. This creative choice allowed me to focus more time and resources on what matters most, delivering longer, more engaging, and fun gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used to assist with drafting and refining the Steam store page description for Ignite: The Ritual. No generative AI content is used as an in-game asset or generated during gameplay.
Generative AI was used during development to create selected pre-generated visual assets, including some character models, weapon presentation models and related images, as well as some promotional artwork for the store. These assets were selected, post-processed and integrated by the developer. Store gameplay screenshots are captured from the running game and have not been generatively altered; they may show game content that uses pre-generated AI assets. The current game does not call generative AI services or generate new content during play.
This game uses generative AI to assist in creating some game assets. All AI-generated assets are manually reviewed, adjusted, and refined by the developer. The game does not generate AI content in real-time during gameplay.
Generative AI-assisted tools were used during development for parts of localization and written marketing content. During gameplay, automated translation may be used to translate player-written chat messages between supported languages. Original player messages are written by users and are not generated by AI.
AI was used as an interface and scripting assistant for industry standard tools such as Reaper, Godot, Blender, Aseprite, and Deepl for enhancing the quality and consistency of the game content and building systems I otherwise would not have the capacity to design and implement as solo developer. Where possible, artists are and will continue to be supported via use of their paid or free assets. For this game, the most money spent was on Quaternius source level packages. Notable exception to this is the UI, which was generated using RetroDiffusion with a python pipeline built in house for consistent design around UI elements using color normalization and targeting from a theme palette, which is then imported and tweaked in Godot.
Some illustrations, sound effects, and voices are generated by AI.
Translation: AI tools assisted with translating the game's text into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian and French. The English text, all art, music and sound are made by hand.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with some artwork, text and localization, and English announcer voice clips created using text-to-speech. This content is prepared in advance and used as fixed assets in the game or on its Steam store page. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
This game was created with extensive AI assistance. AI-generated and AI-assisted content is used in the game, store artwork, descriptions and trailer. This includes graphics and artwork, text, and contributions to programming, music and trailer production. The trailer and screenshots show actual footage captured from the game. No generative AI content is created during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services while being played.
AI tools were used to help with the game's localization and parts of the music
All AI-generated content in Cute Kitty WAR was created during development; nothing is generated while you play. The game's artwork — cats, pests, items, backgrounds and store images — was produced with AI image generation from our own designs and direction, then selected, edited and assembled by our developer. Much of the game's music and sound was synthesized by code written with an AI assistant, and AI assistance helped draft the in-game text, all directed and reviewed by our developer.
The game itself contains no AI-generated assets. Generative AI was used only for some promotional artwork on the store page such as posters. This artwork was edited by the development team.
Textures, Sprites and Art is AI generated. Lots of manual modification take place after the AI generates the first pass.
Generative AI was used to assist with translating and localizing the Steam store page into additional languages. Generative AI is not used during gameplay.
AI tools assisted with development, including Steam store-page and marketing text.
It Wants You To Stay was developed using generative AI tools, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Meta Muse, Meshy, Scenario, Eleven Labs, Suno AI, ChatGPT, and Seedance. AI was used to create code, many of the 3D models, sound effects, music, and videos. The game also includes free-to-use, human-made 3D models, with credit given to their authors. I understand that some players feel strongly about AI in games, and I respect that. If you prefer not to support games made using AI, this title may not be for you. I’m sharing this openly so you can make an informed choice before buying. If you choose to play, I hope you’ll judge the experience it delivers—its atmosphere, gameplay, performance, and value. Honest feedback, including negative reviews, is welcome. I take responsibility for the game’s quality and will use that feedback to help improve it.
Generative AI was used during development to create some environment artwork and branding, and to assist with localization and store text. The game does not generate AI content during play or connect to external AI services.
The key art used for the store capsules and the title screen background was generated with image models run locally and then hand-edited. The Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German and Simplified Chinese translations and drafts of the store page text were produced with the help of an AI assistant. Everything you see during gameplay (the beetle, the tree, its surfaces and all animation) is drawn procedurally in code. Sound effects are CC0 recordings; no AI-generated voice or music is used, and no generative AI runs while you play.
3D models: the AfterPub models (plushies, items, props) come from an AI 3D generator; the files are named like Tripo exports. 2D assets: mix between AI and an Actual Human Designer and Artist. Commentator voice: produced by Piper, an AI text-to-speech engine, while the game runs. Music: Pixabay tracks.
During development we used generative AI tools to create content that ships with the game: character, creature and environment art and animation frames (generated, then edited and assembled by the team), the hunters' short voice lines, the music, some sound effects, and drafts of in-game and store text. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited and integrated by the developers. The game does not generate any content with AI while it is running.
Some of the background music, the in-game translations and parts of the store text were created with the help of generative AI tools, then reviewed and edited by the developer.
Swarm Below was built with help from an AI assistant. Its 3D models (built by scripts in Blender), its synthesized music and sound effects, and parts of the store page text and art were created with AI assistance under the developer's direction. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
Music generated with artificial intelligence assistance
AI was used in the production of some visual assets in the game. All AI-assisted content was carefully reviewed and refined to ensure quality, consistency, and suitability for the game.
Graphic Sound Code
AI aided the production of the game.
Voice acting, music and sound effects were generated with ElevenLabs AI tools, then selected, edited and mixed by the developer. Some game text, including dialogue and store descriptions, was drafted with AI assistance and edited by the developer. The game does not generate any AI content while it runs.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create selected visual assets and music. All generated content was reviewed, selected, edited where necessary, and integrated by the developer.
Was only used to make the store description fo the the game.
Generative AI was used during development to create character and environment artwork, comic illustrations, achievement-card artwork, store artwork, music, and English pronunciation audio, and to assist with learning dialogue and localization. This content is prepared in advance and included with the game. The game does not generate AI content or connect to third-party AI services during gameplay. Custom chapters use the device’s available text-to-speech voices.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create visual references and assist with the creation of some 3D assets. AI-generated outputs used as source material were further edited, refined, or integrated by the developer before inclusion in the game. Generative AI may also be used to create or assist with some music, sound, and localization assets, with outputs reviewed and edited before inclusion. No generative AI is used at runtime.
I've wanted to make games for as long as I can remember but could never learn to code, so AI helped write the code. Some 3D models started as AI-generated base meshes that were then reshaped and repainted by hand, and the arena announcer is an AI voice reading lines we wrote. Everything else is hand-made or licensed.
LAZARUS was developed with the help of generative AI tools. AI assisted in writing the game's code — including the code that draws every visual and synthesizes all music and sound effects in real time — as well as drafting the story, dialogue, in-game text, English/Chinese localization and store page text. All content was directed, reviewed and edited by the developer. The game does not use AI to generate any content while it is running.
We use AI to help with community, bug fixes, and general content that will be replaced over time as we continue to develop.
Generative AI is used during production to help create some visual assets and promotional materials.
Pre-generated AI tools assisted with development, including code, interface copy and localization, in-game comic illustrations, and promotional key art, logo, and icon drafts. The developer reviewed and edited all AI-assisted output before inclusion. The game does not generate AI content while running.
Generative AI was used to create promotional artwork for the store page and marketing materials for this game.
Some illustrations in the game were created using generative AI. The developer selected and adjusted the generated images before incorporating them into the game.
Generative image generation was used to create the PANIC POST logo. The game includes this pre-generated logo and icon artwork derived from it.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in creating select assets, including a character's voiceover audio, UI design elements, and specific artwork. All generated content was manually edited, refined, and integrated by the developer to ensure quality and stylistic consistency.
Part of the game's code was generated and optimized with the assistance of AI development tools during the development process. Some store presentation materials (including the game logo, icon, and background images) were also created with the assistance of AI tools and have been manually reviewed to ensure they do not contain infringing content. All in-game art assets are legally purchased from third-party asset stores or obtained from open-source resources, and are used in accordance with the licenses provided by the respective authors.
